Chappy 27
Katsuki sent the girl standing beside him a scowl. "I thought you said it won't cost shit."
"That's because it won't," (Y/n) jammed her hands into the pockets of her jacket and smiled at him. "Besides, we're not getting in through the front. In every club, there's a back door. And we're gonna find it."
The ash-blond rolled his eyes as he watched the girl eye the bouncers standing at the front doors carefully. They were already back in Tokyo and were standing in front of the popular nightclub, ageHa, in proper view of the bouncers. People were milling around at the doors, trying to get in while the men were busy making them get in line. Muffled loud music from inside could be heard from outside and it further added to the excited atmosphere. There was an alley cutting through between the club and the building beside it and that was what the girl was aiming for.
"Why the fuck are we even here in the first place?"
"Well because the brochure named this place as one of the top ten places to visit when you're in Tokyo," she shrugged. "And so far, we've been to six places so this should be next."
Katsuki looked at her like she was out of her mind. "We're fucking minors."
"And Santa is bullshit, tell me something I don't know," (Y/n) narrowed her eyes at him. "Will, you just live a little? There's like, literally no adult around to supervise us, we gotta take advantage of that. Jeez, the stick up your ass must be longer than Iida's."
"What'd do you fucking say?!"
"Besides," she continued, ignoring the dark look he was giving her. "Haven't you ever heard the phrase, 'when we go out, we go out with a bang'?" she gestured to the club. "This, my friend, is the bang," she shot him a pointed look. "Plus, you made me get into a street brawl with drug dealers, you owe me this much."
"So now you're blackmailing me?!" the boy snapped.
(Y/n) sized him up. "Bitch I might be," her expression then melted into a pleading one. "Let's just go, please. Just checking it out?"
Katsuki regarded her for a second. It was a bad idea going in there. Heck, it was a bad idea being around there in the first place. Why couldn't she just be normal and ask to go to a temple instead? Pray for good fortune and all that sappy shit. Wasn't that what most girls liked? Well, that's what his old hag liked since she loved dragging him to temples every New Year's, so why not (Y/n)? Even though he'd be bored out of his fucking mind, at least he wouldn't have to go into some shady nightclub and watch people be disgusting with each other.
He really hated himself for caving into her demands.
He threw his head back in a groan and ran his hand down his face. He turned back to her with a serious look on his face. "Checking then we're out."
The girl's face lit up and she pumped a fist. "Yes!"
Luckily for them, the two guards didn't suspect them, only taking them as teenagers who were observing at a distance. This provided them with the chance to inch closer and closer until they reached the adjacent building.
"Okay," (Y/n) said once they got into position. "When they turn their heads, we bolt. On my signal, okay?" the girl instructed the male, her calculating eyes still glued to the bouncers as she prepared herself to run.
The bouncers were checking off people on their lists and sometimes they would be occupied with telling off those who attempted to cut the line. And this was what (Y/n) was timing.
"They're almost turning," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "There! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!"
The two ran inside the alley as quickly as they can and luckily for them, they did find the back door.
"Wow!" the girl exclaimed, her voice low as she looked at the back door. "This was way too-"
She was cut off by Katsuki who grabbed her arm, his finger held up to his lips to silence her. "Don't say too easy. Bad things happen when you say that shit."
(Y/n) nodded and snapped her mouth shut. The male pulled her towards the back door and opened it as they both went inside. When they were both in, they could easily hear the muffled loud sound of music coming from the main floor. The back door was connected to a hallway that led them to the main floor.
(Y/n)'s eyes widened in excitement as she checked out the large dancefloor floor filled with dancing people. The lights were dimmed and it had an eerie yet exciting shade of blue. Multicolored disco lights could be seen flashing in intervals around the club's corners. Upbeat music was booming from the large sound speakers around the club, its beat seemingly beating on par with everyone's heartbeat. The smell of alcohol filled the air in large amounts but that didn't bother the majority of the partying people. Turning her head to the right, she saw a staircase which led to the first floor. She lifted her chin up and gaped at the additional one floor that was also filled with dancing people. It really was a large place, no wonder it was popular.
The girl began bobbing her head along to the music. She paid Katsuki a glance, seeing him looking completely bored as he looked around the club. The girl giggled and started dancing around him, gaining his attention. She then stood in front of him and grabbed both his hands, lifting them up a bit as she continued dancing.
The male rolled his eyes but made no move in yanking his hands away from her hold. (Y/n) started mouthing off the words to the song, a big smile on her face as she attempted to get the male in the party mood.
She then leaned closer to him and shouted, hoping her voice would be heard over the loud music. "Let's go to the third floor!!"
Katsuki frowned at her and yanked his hands away from hers. "Fuck no!! We agreed that we're just checking it out and then we're leaving!!"
"Come on, Fireworks!!"
"No!!!"
"Come on!!!"
"Fuck off!!!"
"Come onnnnn!!!"
"Will you sto-!!"
"Coommee oooonnnn!!!"
Katsuki growled at her, his whole form shaking in anger at her win again. Recently, he had come to realize that against her, he'd never win, especially when she looks at him with her big, pleading, puppy eyes. Sometimes, he even wondered why he bothered arguing with her in the first place considering he'd always give in.
"Arrghhh!! Fine!!!"
The girl squealed happily and grabbing his hand. She turned around and pulled him towards the stairs as they elbowed through the sea of dancing bodies. When they finally arrived at the stairs, (Y/n) let go of his hand and they made their way up to the third floor.
Fortunately, no one paid the two minors a second glance as they went up the stairs. A group of five people that had crowded at the top of the second-floor stairs even greeted them, all cheery smiles as they made way for them to pass, and (Y/n) returned the greetings. They looked drunk but at least they were nice. It was a good thing for the two and it made their lives a tad bit easier.
When they arrived at the third floor, (Y/n) headed to the rails and leaned her elbows on the cool metal surface as she peered down. She let out an airy laugh as she took in the sight of a multitude of people dancing on the ground floor. It was such an exhilarating sight, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Turning her head to the side, she frowned when she didn't see Katsuki beside her. She looked over her shoulder and her eyebrows rose when she saw Katsuki trying to move away from a drunk woman. The woman was trying to touch his hair while he kept swatting her hand away. The woman took it as him playing hard to get and kept inching forward towards him while getting too close for comfort. (Y/n) snorted and pressed her fingers to her lips. He looked so uncomfortable it was almost adorable.
Shaking her head, she went towards the two and grabbed his hand. She apologized to the pouting woman while pulling him away from her and hastily led him to the bar. The whole way there, (Y/n) kept teasing and laughing at his misfortunes while Katsuki shouted curses at her.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes at his latest insult and dropped his hand to hop onto one of the bar's high chairs. Katsuki followed suit, looking completely out of place with the scowl on his face and 'get me the fuck out of here' expression. The girl set her hands on the counter and looked around. She anxiously drummed her fingers on the glass surface and bit her lower lip. The blaring music, the stuffy atmosphere, the smell of alcohol, watching adults dance and get drunk...It was such a risky and new adventure that it made her feel like she didn't belong yet did at the same time. Also, it made her feel so...bad.
(Y/n) chuckled at her thoughts and faced the bar. Nanami would so kill her if she found out about the whole thing.
When the bartender saw the two new arrivals, he gave them a boyish nod of acknowledgment, which (Y/n) saw and returned with a shy smile. He placed the glasses he was wiping on the counter in front of him and approached them.
"And what can I get you two minors?" he asked slyly, a knowing smile on his lips as he looked at two.
"Oh, us?" (Y/n) asked sarcastically, pointing between her and Katsuki. "Water, please."
The bartender chuckled at her joke, mischief glinting in his blue eyes as he cautiously looked around. He grabbed two glasses and poured some alcohol in them. He passed it out to the duo, his smile directed mostly at (Y/n).
"On the house. Not too strong but it's something for your first time," he said, still amused with the girl's vivacity. He guessed they were tourists and had sneaked from their hotels and parents' watchful eyes to have a night of fun in the city. It wasn't an unusual sight, especially around that time of the year when tourists would flood Tokyo looking for a good time. Let teenagers be teenagers, he always believed.
"Thanks!" she gushed and quickly downed the shot in one fluid motion. She winced at the burning sensation and cleared her throat in hopes that the burning would stop. After the feeling receded, she lifted her arms up and let out a celebratory whoop. The bartender laughed at this and went over to serve another customer. The girl looked over at Katsuki, who had also surprisingly downed his despite the fact that he looked like he'd rather be hit by a speeding truck than be there. Honestly, he was still trying to come to terms with how he let himself get roped into all of that monkeyshine.
The girl laughed heartily and grabbed the sleeve of his jacket. "Let's go for round two!!!"
The male turned to her with a glower. He'd seriously had enough.
"No way!!"

So in the end, Katsuki didn't allow her to take another round which led her to pout for ten minutes. But Katsuki didn't care. She had said it herself that he wouldn't be spending anymore and he was sure as heck wasn't going to spend any more damn money on something medieval as alcohol.
Luckily, the top bar was situated in such a position that allowed them a clear view of the stage below which was an advantage. They leaned their backs against the counter as they watched the performance up on stage. (Y/n), who had stopped her pouting, bobbed her head along to the thumping sound of the music and smiled when she saw one of the dancers perform a maneuver that seemed impossible to simply do.
When the performance was done, the audience erupted into a cheer, along with (Y/n). The DJ then changed the song, this one more upbeat than the one that was playing before.
(Y/n) shrieked in excitement. "Oh gosh!! I love this song!"
She hopped down from her seat, the sudden action making her stumble but was quickly caught by Katsuki, who wrapped his arms around her waist and held her against his side.
(Y/n) chuckled and pinched his cheek. "I'm not drunk!!"
"Whatever, just don't fall on your ass," the male muttered as he let her go.
The minute he did so, the girl started dancing, swaying her hips from side to side fast but still on par with the beat. She loudly sang along to the song being played while dancing her soul out.
The girl couldn't describe how much fun she was having. Even the people dancing next to her noticed her overexcited nature and some started dancing with her, copying her movements.
She started bobbing her head together with her shoulders at the beat, still singing to the song. She then dropped her hands to her hips and started swaying them, her fingers grabbing onto the hem of her dress and slightly rising it up. She slowly and provocatively spun around, biting her lower lip as the music ignited her within.
It was then she felt a pair of eyes burning onto her body. She looked around, her (e/c) eyes locking onto a pair of crimson ones. Katsuki was leaning against a pillar not far away from where she was standing, his hands in his pockets with one leg propped up behind against the pillar. He wore a face of nonchalance as his eyes remained glued onto the girl, particularly her moving body.
(Y/n) waved at him before skipping towards him. She immediately grabbed his hands and attempted to pull him off the wall.
"Come on!! Let's dance!!" she suggested, swinging his arms happily as she continued dancing.
"I don't dance," he muttered, as he tried to look anywhere else but the girl.
"Of course, you can!!! Just move with me!!!" she chuckled and let go of one of his hands, lifting the other high in the air.
"Twirl me!!!" she requested, earning a groan from the male. Katsuki twirled her nevertheless, the girl closing her eyes in laughter. But when he stopped, she didn't have enough balance to help her stand straight, making her stumble and fall straight onto Katsuki's chest.
She laughed off her clumsiness and opened her eyes. She then realized how close she was to his face, with him looking down at her, his hold on her waist unconsciously tightening. (Y/n) suddenly felt weird. Not the bad weird she would feel before, but a good weird. She stared into his eyes, her smile faltering.
Wow, are his eyes usually this intense?
As if she had been slapped, she returned back to her senses, shaking off the moment. She placed her hands against his chest and pulled away, offering him an apologetic smile to play off the sudden awkwardness.
"Sorry. My bad."
Katsuki unwrapped his arms from her waist and returned them back into his pockets as he too tried to calm his flustered state. "S'fine."
The music was changed again, gaining (Y/n)'s attention as she completely brushed off the accident as of no importance and turned around to dance off to the new music.
Though all the while, she couldn't help but feel a tiny nagging feeling at the back of her mind ever present since she was pressed up against the male.
***
(Y/n) danced to no music as she walked beside Katsuki through the streets of Tokyo. It was late at night and the streets were not even close to empty.
It had been an hour since they got out of the club and had been walking around the city for a while. It was past midnight, which meant that they couldn't go back to the motel rendering them homeless for the night.
They had a train to catch at 10 am next morning back to Musutafu. But then again, that was the least of their worries.
(Y/n) stopped dancing and turned to Katsuki. "Hey, where are we going to sleep?"
"Well, it's your fucking fault we got out late so don't fucking ask me!" he hissed at her, earning an eye roll from her.
The girl frowned and rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. Stop being so petty. Let's just look for a nice tree to perch on and all shall be well."
***
The two teenagers stared at the clear, star-filled night sky as they lied down on the roof of a building. They were both silent, each in their own thoughts before (Y/n) broke the silence.
"What's the time?"
"Do I look like a fucking clock to you?"
When (Y/n) sent Katsuki a dirty look, he sighed and dug for his phone in his pocket, pulling it out and checking it.
"Almost 3."
(Y/n) nodded and covered her mouth with her hand, stifling a yawn. She then sighed and smiled, glancing at Katsuki.
"Thanks."
Katsuki turned her head towards her and frowned. "For what?"
"For the best night of my life. I really had fun," she responded, a grateful smile still gracing her lips.
Katsuki stared at her in momentarily silence.
"...Don't mention it."
(Y/n) chuckled and looked back up at the sky, Katsuki doing the same. The girl could feel exhaustion and sleep calling out to her as her eyes started drooping. She then looked back at the ash-blond, her eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Wait, how did we get here again?"
The ash-blond clicked his tongue. "I'm not telling that story again."
"But I can't remember," the female whined stubbornly, only to make Katsuki scowl further.
"I told you three times," Katsuki crossed his arms behind his head and closed his eyes. "It's your fucking fault for dancing too fucking much, messed up your already retarded brain. Now shut up and sleep."
"There's no such thing as dancing too fucking much," she said. When Katsuki did not respond, she sighed in defeat and shrugged. "Fine then...Katsuki?"
His eyes shot open and he turned his head to glare at (Y/n) for disturbing his peace. "What?!"
"Tell me a bedtime story."
"Fuck no!! Do I look like mother duck to you?!"
"It's mother goose."
"It's motherfucking shut the hell up!!"
"Fine. Don't tell me," the girl sulked at his resistance and scoffed, turning her body so that her back faced Katsuki. "I'm going to sleep."
The male groaned loudly in defeat, making the girl smirk smugly.
"Okay fine!!!"
(Y/n) turned around, this time fully facing an irritated Katsuki whose face was twisted in anger as he glared daggers at her.
"Once upon a fucking time that no one cares about...!"
***
(Y/n)'s eyes fluttered open, instantly wincing at the bright morning light that assaulted her eyes. She let out a low tired groan as she rubbed sleep off her eyes. Her eyes then adjusted to the light and she looked around, realizing that she was lying on Katsuki's chest with his jacket draped over her upper half.
She slowly sat up, causing the jacket to fall off from her shoulders and the morning cold to hit her, making her shiver. She then took out her phone from her jacket and checked the time. She let out a gasp in shock, her eyes almost bulging out of their sockets.
"Shit!"
The girl turned to the sleeping male and started shaking him.
"Katsuki! Katsuki wake up!!" she continued shaking him until he finally started coming to.
"Fuck...die, moron..." he muttered sleepily, the usual frown on his face deepening slightly at the disturbance.
(Y/n) groaned and shook him even more violently. "Fucking wake up!!"
The male's eyes flew wide open as he turned to glare at the girl but before he could yell at her, she beat him to it.
"We're going to be late!! It's almost seven!!"
Katsuki's eyes widened in shock as he quickly jumped to his feet, (Y/n) following after.
"Why didn't you wake me up?!!" Katsuki barked at the girl, who rose her eyebrows in shock at his sudden outburst on her.
"Well I was trying to but you wouldn't wake up!!!" she shot back defensively.
Katsuki fingers twitched uncontrollably as he tried to control his rage. He then grabbed her arm and started running towards the edge pulling her with him as they leaped from the roof.
***
(Y/n) exhaled in lethargy the minute she plopped down in the train's seat. She panted rapidly, her heart beating fast from all the running they did ever since waking up.
All the way from the roof, they ran all the way back to the motel, grabbed their stuff and checked out. They then ran all the way to the train station, thanking all heavens that they found that their train was still there.
The girl leaned on Katsuki's shoulder as she tried to catch her breath while she fanned her face to help her cool down. From the moment she had sat down, she had started feeling the repercussions of spending the night on a roof through her sore body and all she wanted to do was sleep.
Katsuki stared out the window as the train began moving, his cheek resting on his palm but his focus on the girl who was leaning on his shoulder.
The girl took in a deep breath, finally feeling her breathing calm down to normal. She lifted her head and glanced at the male who was always slightly affected by physical activities.
Katsuki noticed her eyes on him but didn't attempt to look at her.
"What?"
"How are you never tired? You have like, the stamina of a wild bull..." (Y/n) wondered aloud, leaning her head back on the seat.
The male remained silent, still not looking at the girl. (Y/n) sighed at his snub, unoffended, but her eyes remained glued to the side of his face.
Her (e/c) eyes raked over his facial features, taking in every detail of it.
Huh, now that I look at him, he's actually kinda...cute...
(Y/n) knitted her eyebrows at her accidental thought, her eyes darting away from the male.
Why did I think that?
She mentally shook her head, dismissing her mindless thoughts as just pointing out facts. The image of her in his arms back in the club flashed in her mind, making her place her hand over forehead as she felt her temperature slightly shoot up.
(Y/n) inhaled sharply and pushed the image to the back of her mind. She then closed her eyes, clearing her thoughts as they returned back to normal.
"You okay?"
"Hmm?" the girl turned to Katsuki who was now looking at her and smiled in assurance. "Yeah. I'm fine. Just a headache from all the running around."
Katsuki grunted in response and turned back to the window. (Y/n) sighed and leaned her head back on his shoulder, closing her eyes as she fell asleep.
