:: xxii. | the freak out

Alexa just arrived to work at ten in the morning. She kind of snuck out of her house, she didn't want to wake Sarah and she also didn't know how to respond to last night. She wanted it but she didn't at the same time. She knows she initiated it, which she takes full responsibility for but . . . she's just confused on what she wants.

She sat in Zendaya's trailer with Barbie, Maude and Sydney. She was on her phone, not engaged in the conversation that was presenting itself in front of her. Maude was quick to notice and departed from the conversation, sitting next to Alexa.

"You ok? You're kinda distant today." Maude spoke, which earned the turn of heads of the girls in their direction.

"I'm freaking out and I feel bad." Alexa admitted, looking back at Maude.

"Why?" Barbie overheard, walking over.

"So . ." Alexa nervously chuckled, "Sarah came in the middle of the night. She's here now."

"Oh my god! That's good." Sydney exclaimed. Then she saw Alexa's face, " . . Right . . ?"

"Yeah." Alexa nodded, "But like-" Alexa stood up and began walking around, "I know I initiated it. It just feels like- we haven't even gone on a date yet!"

"Initiated what?" Zendaya turned from the mirror, looking over at Alexa from across the room.

"We banged! I banged her last night and now I left her in bed high and dry without any note or whatever-!" Her freak out was starting to show.

"Now she's going to think she's just a booty call." Barbie spoke and Sydney nodded, agreeing.

"You know what-" Zendaya picked up her phone and pulled up Instagram, "I'm going to text her." And that's what she did. She went to Sarah's profile, slid into her dms and told her to come to set.

Alexa just froze, she had no idea what to do. For one, she was happy that zendaya did that because she couldn't and two, she was also not happy. She's a complex person. She just stood there, staring at Z with wide eyes and zendaya just shrugged with a smug expression.

Sarah was still bed, sleeping. She groaned, hearing her phone go off. As she flipped on her back, she wondered why she felt a slight breeze. So she lifted the covers and saw she was naked and sighed, pleasingly. Then remembering her phone was going off, she grabbed it off the nightstand next to her and scrolled the notifications. Her inner fangirl started coming out when she saw that zendaya texted her on Instagram.

She opened it and quickly scanned over the text from zendaya. It said that Alexa is on set and that Sarah should come by too. Instead of replying back, she loved the message. She squealed, getting out of the bed. She then picked up her shirt from last night and put it on because she couldn't find the shirt she went to bed in, then slid on her pants. She headed out the bedroom and made her way downstairs to the kitchen where she ran into some stranger, at least to her he was a stranger.

"Jacob Elordi, what are you doing here?"

He cleared his throat, "I was asked by zendaya to accompany you for your tour of the euphoria set."

"Tour?" Sarah raised her brows, she was genuinely confused.

"Yes." He nodded, "Now chop, chop. We leave in twenty." He gestured her to get a move on.

With her brows still raised, she turned back around and headed upstairs. Just as she approached the steps, she realized her suitcases were in the living room still so she headed there and then headed back upstairs to change into something that she didn't wear on the plane to South California.

Sarah sat in Alexa's trailer on a chair, waiting for her to exit the bathroom. They had planned lunch together and that's what they were mainly waiting for. Alexa ordered Thai food not too long ago. After another few minutes, there was a knock of the trailer door. Sarah got up and went to it, opening it and there stood a man with the food. She paid the dude in cash then took her food, closing the door back.

Alexa had just left the bathroom and saw Sarah placing the food on some table that was there. She walked over and began pulling the out the food as well as Sarah.

"Sooo about last night . . . " Alexa trailed off.

"We need to communicate better." Sarah finished, looking up from the food to Alexa.

"Yeah." Alexa agreed with a nod of her head, "Speaking of communicating, could we like talk real quick?" Sarah put everything down and gave Alexa her undivided attention, "I wanted to apologize for last night. We never went on a date yet, or did any other of those things for when people like each other. We jumped bases and that's my fault, sorry." She finished.

"Actually .. . " Sarah began, "We only skipped the first base which is going on a date and people who usually skip that, their connection is much stronger so they don't need a first date." She continued, "You know what, this could be our first date." She gestured towards the Thai food.

"So we're dating now?" Alexa joked with a slight smile.

Sarah smiled, "If you're cool with it."

"Oh, im cool with it." Alexa smiled back.

Though the two were still navigating whatever it is that they have, they were quite enjoying themselves. Sarah never felt whatever she was feeling before with someone else other than drew and same with Alexa. The last time they both had a relationship was like years ago, so everything is still kind of new.
