12 ❥ BONDING

Just some cute bonding moments between Shiina and some of the Phantom Thieves ☺️

"Shiina for the last time, I'm not going to teach you how to say 'get on your knees' in English!" Ann exasperated, wanting to smack herself with a notebook.

"Just say it once!" The red head pleaded with her, clasping her hands together. " Pleeeease?"

The blonde sighed. "Fine.... Get on your knees." She said in English, rolling her eyes while doing it.

Shiina grinned, "Get on your knees," she repeated in perfect pronunciation. "Did I say it right?"

"Oh god, I created a monster...!" Ann groaned, horrified.

Shiina smirked victoriously. "So I did say it right!"

The two girls were in farthest back corner of Shujin's library, not wanting to be bothered. Ann was supposed to help the younger girl out on her upcoming English test, but the poor blonde found herself teaching Shiina nasty phrases instead.

"Okay, okay, now teach me how to say 'bend over'!" Shiina said eagerly.

"Do you have an English-speaking lover that you want to dominate or something?" Ann asked, before shuddering. God she couldn't believe she just said that. Shiina was corrupting her and they've only been at the library for ten minutes!

"Actually, I plan on getting myself an American sugar-daddy," Shiina said with pure honesty. Ann gawked at her. "I want to bring him home on father's day and introduce him to my dad. Then, I'll give him a '#1 best daddy ever' mug while I flip my real dad off. After that, we can frolic away and get married in Paris. Everyone's invited except Endeavor."

"Sometimes you frighten me," Ann admitted. "I think you deserve my whip way more than I do."

Shiina giggled, "I've always wanted to whip someone."

Ann rubbed her temples. "Okay... Let's just get started on studying and the next time we go to the Metaverse, I'll give you my whip."

She brightened up immediately. "Oh my god, seriously?!"

Ann nodded, smiling. "I promise."

"Then let's get to studying!" Shiina said eagerly, opening up her untouched English workbook.

Ann sighed in relief. Finally, she thought. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm so glad we can finally study. She picked up her pencil and scooted closer to the younger girl to see what she needed help on. Before she could even read a single word, a male's voice interrupted them.

"Excuse me?"

The girls looked up, spying a timid looking male half-hiding behind a bookshelf. He looked to be a first year.

"Er, Takamaki-senpai? Kiberi-san? Is it alright if I speak with you for a moment?" He asked.

Shiina and Ann exchanged glances. The blonde spoke up first, "Um, sure...? What for?"

He finally stepped away from the bookshelf so they could fully see him. "W-well... Can we talk at the rooftop instead?"

Shiina's eyes flew open. The rooftop, huh? She frowned. That's where all confessions take place. She glanced at Ann to see if she was aware of that, but the older girl just looked confused.

Wait, she blinked. Why does he want both of us up there?

"The rooftop?" Ann said skeptically, narrowing her eyes. "Why do you need to talk to us there? Whatever you need to say, you can say it here."

The demand only made him grow more nervous. He swallowed audibly, fidgeting in his spot. "I-if that's what you want... Um, first off, Ki—Kiberi-san, will you please be my girlfriend?!" He blurted out, bowing impossibly low.

"No, sorry." She shot him down immediately.

He winced, looking almost defeated.

Almost.

"I see..." He trailed off, then bowed down to Ann. "Then Takamaki-senpai, will you please be my girlfriend?!"

Ann's jaw dropped. "What the hell?" She exclaimed in pure bewilderment. "Why are you asking me out after you just asked her out?!"

"Well..." Another gulp. "She rejected me so..."

"Do you have any common decency?!"

"You should leave," Shiina sighed in annoyance.

He stared at her, as if not understanding simple Japanese. "Huh? But..."

Shiina whipped her phone out and said in a more threatening tone: "Leave, before I get Kurusu Akira to come over here and make you leave." She smirked, knowing the mention of Shujin's 'resident bad boy' would be enough to make him cower in fear.

As expected, the boy turned stark white. He stepped back, sweating profusely. "You—you know him?!"

She rose a brow. "Know him? Please, I'm the dude's main hoe. Now scram."

He bolted out of the library in an instant. Speed was probably his Quirk too, since he left a cloud of dust behind him.

Ann stared at Shiina blankly. "...'Main hoe'...?"

Shiina snickered and set her phone down. "What, am I wrong?"

Classes were finally done and over with, and Shiina was currently dragging her brother off to Kosei High School's dorms, where Yusuke was awaiting them. Since Endeavor would be out doing random shit at his agency, Shouto didn't need to go through his hellish training, meaning he could be Yusuke's model instead.

"Will I be naked?" Shouto asked.

She snickered and looked at him, waggling her brows. "No, but do you want to be?"

He almost glared at her. "No."

"Okaaaaay, nii-chan." She sang, teasing him.

"Is this a Catholic school?" He asked randomly, spying a cross on the wall.

She shrugged. "I think so. I mean, Yusuke sometimes rants about the anguish of Christ, so I'm pretty sure it is." The two made it onto the elevator and waited for it to reach the floor Yusuke was at.

"Let's see," Shiina murmured, looking at the door numbers. "307... 307..."

"Here." Shouto said, pointing at it.

"Oh," she said, then reached out to knock on the door.

But it swung open before she could touch it.

"Good," Yusuke said, looking extremely pleased. "You're here. You may come in. I have everything ready. I was just waiting for you both to arrive."

"Artsy room you got here," Shiina complimented as they both stepped inside. It was no surprise that Yusuke's room would be full of art. There was an easel next to the window to let in some natural sunlight, a bunch of paintings and drawings on the wall, and his art supplies were neatly organized on shelves.

"Thank you," Yusuke said. "It's a lot bigger than my room at Madarame's so I took advantage of it."

"Madarame?" Shouto said immediately.

The two Phantom Thieves tensed, momentarily forgetting that he would be listening in.

"Ah, yes," Yusuke cleared his throat. "I'm one of his previous pupils, but I left him after..."

"After he was arrested." Shouto finished, his expression turning thoughtful.

Shiina gulped, wanting to change the subject. She spotted two kimonos on the bed. "Hey, Yusuke, why do you have two kimonos?"

"Ah," Yusuke mentally thanked her for her quick thinking. "I decided that I wanted you to be my model as well." He picked up the pink kimono and handed it to her while giving Shouto the deep blue one.

"Really?" She said giddily, taking it.

"If you don't mind."

"'Course not!"

The twins got dressed into their pretty kimonos, one of them more eager than the other.

"Sho-nii, we look so cute!" Shiina squealed, taking pictures of themselves to post on Instagram. She pondered on whether to tag Endeavor on it, but then remembered that their dad was a loser and didn't have any social media. Hell, he doesn't even text people, but Shiina was pretty sure it was because he had nobody who would even want to text that him (he was an asshole to everyone after all).

"I guess..." Shouto trailed off.

"Yusuke, we're done!" She called out to the bluenette, who spun around.

"You both look perfect!" He beamed.

"Now what pose would you like us to do?" She asked.

"Nothing too complicating. I just need you two to sit on these chairs and smile at each other." He instructed, leading them to the two chairs against the wall.

"That's it? We're just smiling at each other?" Shiina blinked.

He nodded, eyes closed as he imagined the beautiful scene. "Yes... I would love to capture the moment of adoration and care between two very close siblings."

"Sounds good enough," she shrugged, then plopped down on one of the chairs. She patted the vacant one and grinned at her twin. "Come on, nii-chan, sit down and smile at me!"

Before he did, he turned to the artist and asked, "Will this take long?"

Yusuke shook his head. "No. I'm using watercolor to make the process quicker."

That seemed to satisfy him because he sat down.

"Come on, bro, you gotta smile!" Shiina instructed.

"Er... okay..." Slowly, the upper corners of his lips turned upwards. "Is this okay?"

Shiina smiled dreamily. "Ah, nii-chan, you look so handsome when you smile. No wonder you're my twin."

"Your vanity is showing, Imouto-san."

She batted her lashes. "Isn't it always?"

Yes, this is perfect... PERFECT! Yusuke internally yelled, getting to work right away. Shouto's smile was growing more and more genuine the longer he talked to Shiina, and he needed to draw that smile right away before it disappeared. Though, the bluenette doubted that it'd go away any time soon.

He was, after all, speaking with his dearest little sister.

"They truly are magnificent specimens..." Yusuke muttered to himself. I wonder if they'll allow me to draw them naked...

A couple hours later, Shiina and Shouto found themselves talking about his hero costume.

"One side is covered in ice?" She echoed, her features scrunched up in disapproval. "Even your face is covered?"

"Yes, is something wrong with that?" He asked, tilting his head.

"No moving!" Yusuke reminded him, and Shouto returned to his original position.

"Uh duh," Shiina said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I know you don't like using your left side, but is icing it all away really necessary? Your beautiful face is covered, nii-chan!" She stomped her foot.

"No moving!" Yusuke reminded them again.

"Sorry!" She apologized sheepishly. "Anyways, I wish I could've designed your hero costume. You would've looked much better. Hmmm, I'm thinking of no shirts."

"No." Shouto made a face.

"Why not? I know you have abs of steel nii-chan, you gotta flaunt 'em. I know if I was a hero, I'd totally wear something that shows of my tits."

"No." He said firmly, glaring.

She snickered. If only he can see my thief suit.... Hah! Yusuke seemed to be thinking the same thing because an amused smile was plastered on his face and his shoulders were shaking with uncontrolled mirth.

"Sex appeal is a good weapon if you're hot enough," Shiina barreled on as if she was lecturing him on a topic she specialized in (which she actually did specialize in... but he didn't have to know that). "I'm hot as hell and because you're my twin, you're hot as hell too. You'd totally stun villains with your good looks if you seduced them."

Shouto tried not to grimace. "...This conversation makes me feel very uncomfortable."

"Hahaha!" Shiina let out a grand laugh while Yusuke chuckled through his nose, trying fruitlessly to not draw focus away.

"Perhaps you should talk about something else, Shiina." Yusuke suggested.

"Okay, okay, fine. How's UA?" She asked. "Whatcha future Pros learning about now?"

He was about to shrug, but then remembered that he was supposed to sort-of stay still. "Nothing special."

She pouted. "Come on, nii-chan, that can't be true! Tell me about your classmates! Didn't you say something about an explosion guy? And another kid who breaks his bones? And wasn't there a dude who shoots himself?"

"What destructive Quirks." Yusuke commented, eyes plastered on his artwork.

"I know right!" Shiina exclaimed. "That's what I said! Are you stronger than them, nii-chan? I bet you are!"

"I've never gone one-on-one with them, but Midoriya—the one who keeps breaking his bones—seems like a formidable opponent." He admitted.

"Really? You feel threatened by a dude whose bones break whenever he uses his Quirk?" Shiina shook her head in disbelief. "Oooookay, if you say so~ What about the other two?"

"The one with the explosion Quirk is annoying and loud." He glared at just the mention of him.

"And the dude who shoots himself? What kind of Quirk is that?" She wondered aloud.

"It's an odd Quirk," he said. "I think I heard him shout 'Persona' once before this entity appeared."

Immediately, Shiina and Yusuke tensed. "What?" She said, features contorting into shock while Yusuke set his paintbrush down to stare at Shouto with the same expression.

"What is it?" Shouto asked, noticing their faces.

"What did you hear him say, Todoroki-san?" Yusuke asked in alarm.

"I think I heard him say 'Persona'." He repeated. "Is something wrong?"

"Um, n-no." Shiina lied while Yusuke picked up his brush with a shaky hand. He continued painting, but shared a concerned glance with Shiina.

Yusuke and Shiina both agreed on alerting the leader of the Phantom Thieves about their findings: There was a potential Persona user who was a student of UA and—specifically—he was in her brother's class.

Feeling tense and worried all over, it was no surprise that Shiina was unable to sleep. But once she did, it didn't last long thanks to a phone call.

"Akira?" She said sleepily, rubbing her eyes as she tried to get used to the darkness in her room.

"Hey," he said casually, as if he wasn't calling her in the middle of the night. "You wanna make lock picks?"

"...It's two AM and you're asking me if I wanna make lock picks? ...Hell yeah."

And that was how she found herself in the attic of Leblanc, making lock picks with the leader of the Phantom Thieves at 2 AM. While they worked, Morgana slept peacefully on the bed.

"So you're my main hoe, huh?" Akira said smugly, and Shiina didn't need to look at him to know he was giving her that smirk.

Her cheeks flared up. "Shut up, it was only to get rid of him."

"It's okay," he gently nudged her with his shoulders. "I don't mind having you as my main hoe."

"As long as Ryuji's the side hoe, right?" She snorted, causing him to laugh as well.

Morgana suddenly let out a loud snore and turned over, making the two teens silence themselves immediately.

Once it was quiet enough, Shiina started to nervously fiddle around with the silk yarn between her fingers. "Um... Akira? I don't want to stress you out further but..."

Akira turned to her curiously. "What is it?"

"I think... one of Shouto's classmates is a Persona user."

He became serious. "How do you know this?"

She started to explain. "I brought Shouto over to Yusuke's dorm because he wanted to paint us. While we were talking, Shouto brought up some of his classmates and he said he heard one of them say 'Persona' to summon his... well, his Persona. But the weird thing is... he uses a gun to shoot himself in order to summon it."

"What?" Akira's brows furrowed. He set the materials down and turned to her fully. "He has to shoot himself? With an actual gun?"

She shrugged hopelessly. "It can't be an actual gun, he'd be dead if it was. It must be something else... but what concerns me is that he might be the guy in the black mask. The true culprit."

"I... I don't know about that." He muttered under his breath.

She stared at him in confusion. "What do you mean? Akira...?"

"I don't think he's the true culprit," he said slowly. "But something about him is suspicious. You think you can get more information out of your brother about him? His name? Or if he wears a black mask? UA kids have hero costumes made for them, don't they?"

"They do, and okay. I'll try to learn more about this mysterious potential Persona user." She agreed with a firm nod of her head.

He smiled ruffled her hair. "Good. I'm depending on you, okay?"

"You got it!" She said quietly, giving him a thumbs up.
