Bonus Chapter #2
Hehehe, I decided this story needed a little more to it ;)
Bonus Chapter #2
I wiped the tears that were streaming down my cheek and looked at Tyler.
Is eyebrows were furrowed with confusion; How could he?
"What's wrong babe?" He asked, going to sit down next to me.
I pushed his chest and stood up, walking towards him.
"As if you don't know. You're chesting on me you piece of crap! I loved and trusted you!" I screeched, choking back a sob and blinking back tears.
He looked down at his shoe, ashamed with himself.
He looked guilty; good.
"How'd you find out?" He asked, his voice barely a whisper.
"You left your phone lying on the table and I got the message from your co-worker. Hey babe, you wanna come over tonight? With a winky face." I recited, pain, ice, and fire all pulsing through my veins at once.
My heart was hammering in my chest, my head was throbbing, and there was a ringing in my ears.
"I'm Sorry." He whispered, as a tear slipped down his cheek.
"No you're not. I'm leaving and I'm taking Elsie with me." I gritted, wiping my eyes and tucking a strand of hair as I stormed out of the room.
I guess I should've suspected something since he's been coming home late every night, but I was too naive.
I quietly stepped into our daughter's room and picked up the sleeping five year old.
I carried her into our room and set her down on our bed.
I chewed on my bottom lip as I pulled out a suitcase and started packing.
He grabbed my arm, snaking his fingers around my wrist.
"Please, don't go." He begged, his voice shaking with emotion.
I wanted to give in, gosh I wanted to give I'm. But I couldn't.
I ripped my arm away from him and continued packing, ignoring every plead he had to stay.
It took everything I had not to accept his apology and fall back in his arms; but I figured he'd just do it again.
Without another word, I woke Elsie up, walked her and my suitcase out the door, and slammed it behind me.

When Elsie and I were in my car, I pulled my phone out and called the only reliable friend I had at the moment.
"Devan? Are you okay?" Taylor asked when she heard my quiet sobs.
"No. Can I crash at your place? I'll tell you every thing when I get there."
"Yeah, of course." She said, and I could hear how puzzled she was from her tone.
Taylor hadn't gotten married yet, so it was safe to crash there.
I didn't want to explain everything to Macie, because it's her brother I'm talking about.
This is bigger than her, honestly, this is bigger than me.
"Why are we leaving daddy?" Elsie asked behind me, and I glanced back at her small figure.
"Because daddy made a couple mistakes, and he isn't sorry enough for them." I explained, knowing the whole situation was too much for her to grasp.
"Oh."

"That lying piece of trash!" Taylor exclaimed, kicking the wall.
After I had told her every thing, she was ready to kick his balls until they bled.
I slapped a hand over her mouth before she woke up Elsie, who was lying on a pallet we had made on the floor.
"I don't know what to do," I sobbed. "I don't have the money to buy as a house and pay for the neccesaties needed. I still love him, and I trusted him. How could he do this?"
She pulled me to her, wrapping her arms around me comfortingly.
"You and Elsie can stay here as long as you need to." She smiled, glancing over at the peaceful little girl who was fast asleep.
Everytime I looked at her, it was like looking at him, and that only broke my heart.
I grabbed the pillow I had packed and pulled it to me, crying every tear I could for the night.

Three weeks later:
I sat on the edge of Taylor's bed, holding a small picture of Tyler and I that I had packed in my suitcase.
I didn't realize I was crying until a drop of salty liquid fell onto the frame, rolling down the dusty glass.
Elsie has been asking me over and over again when we're going to see Tyler.
Everytime I hear his name, it's like my heart begins breaking into small pieces all over again.
"Mommy, daddy's here!" Elsie exclaimed, running towards me, Taylor in tow.
She had a sheepish smile on her face, as she fidgeted with the loose strings on her sweater.
"Is he really?" I asked, a spark of hope inside of me.
I know I shouldn't be happy, but after it being almost a month, I still love him.
He's on my mind every day and every night.
I think about him during the day when Taylor and me are hanging out and Elsie's at school, and I think about him at night and wish he was laying in bed next to me.
Taylor nodded, and I inhaled sharply.
I stood up, my knees shaking beneath me, threatening to buckle at any given moment.
"He's downstairs by the door." Taylor said.
My hands were shaking and sweating at my sides, and my head was throbbing.
I slowly made my way down the wooden steps, occasionally stopping to take a breath.
I'm pregnant.
I had been feeling off, such as experiencing strange good cravings, my stomach hurting, and vomiting.
I took a pregnancy test, and it came out positive.
It's definitely his baby.
When I saw him leaning against the door, I felt my heart ache, I wanted him to hold me again, and tell me everything was going to be alright.
I sucked it up and walked down the stairs, my hand on my stomach.
When he saw me, his eyes widened.
They were red and swollen, as though he had been crying a lot.
If possible, maybe more than me.
"I've missed you. She was a mistake and I'm sorry. I'll do whatever it takes to make you want to come back. Seeing Elsie about made me break down and cry again, and when I saw you, I felt my heart get crushed completely. I want you, I need you. Please come back." He begged; by this point he was on his knees with his hands clasped together.
I wiped away the tear slipping down my cheek.
"Before I give you My answer, there's something you need to know," I paused, preparing myself for telling him what I was about to tell him.
"What is it?" He asked, concern filling his eyes.
"I'm pregnant with your kid."
His eyes softened, and I saw a glint of happiness.
"This gives us all the more reason to get back together." He smiled, placing a hand on my stomach.
I didn't bother moving his hand.
"When was the last time you saw her? Your co-worker?" I asked, and he sighed.
"After you left, I quit my job so that I wouldn't have to see her again. I found a new job. I don't make much, but enough to sustain a family of four." He explained, a spark of hope in his eyes.
"Yes." I said, looking down at my stomach.
"Yes what?" He asked, utterly confused.
"Yes I'll get back together with you idiot. It's not like we had signed divorce papers yet anyway." I smiled, and he grinned.
"Thank you. I don't know what I would've done if you had said no." He chuckled.
Elsie ran down the stairs towards Tyler and jumped in his arms.
"I missed you daddy." She squeaked, clinging tightly to his neck.
"I missed you too baby girl." He grinned, squeezing her back.
He walked over towards me and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Have you told her about the add on?" He whispered in my ear, and I shook my head.
"Hey Elsie, you have a new baby brother or sister on the way." He told Elsie, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Yay!" She screeched; I'm pretty sure I'm deaf now.
"I'm glad you guys worked things out." Taylor grinned, walking down the stairs.
"Were you eaves dropping?" I asked her, and her cheeks went pink.
"Maybe."
