Ellis's POV:
I woke to find Miracle missing. I leaped out of bed and ran around the house looking for her.

"Miracle?!"

Torch where is she, she didn't leave did she? Torch?! Answer me or tell me what to do please I need to find her!

'Calm down you need to think. Follow her scent.'

I took a deep breath and inhaled. Her scent filled my nose along with several other scents and then it hit me blood!

I raced to the source, Miracle is in trouble. I found Miracle curled up in the corner whimpering in pain and she was shaking in pure fear. She had blood on her some of it her own.

I looked around the room Ezra was on the floor with blood trickling down his face and there in front of my mate was Rosalie.

A growl escaped my lips and I raced to my mate pushing Rosalie away.

"Baby? Miracle your okay now your safe it's Ellis. Your okay now. Baby look at me, breath."

I tried to reach out to her but she coward into the corner, she's afraid.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY MATE ROSALIE!"

I snapped and she bowed in submission trembling in fear. I looked over at Ezra his whole body was shaking and the blood was now gushing out of his head.

"She..she was in your room! She's not your mate that little mutt is nothing she'll never be a good Luna!"

I let out a furious bark and I growled baring my teeth.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU UNLESS YOU GET OUT OF MY SIGHT ROSALIE! YOU LEAVE MY MATE ALONE. IF YOU EVER GO NEAR HER AGAIN I'LL KILL YOU!"

I lost control, Torch was on the verge of shifting until I felt small arms wrap around my body.

"E..Ellis please calm down, I need you."

I span round taking deep breaths holding her in my arms. She's hurt and afraid, she needs me.

"It's alright now Angel I'm here, why didn't you call for me?"

I whispered rubbing her back to calm her, this is all my fault. I should have woken up sooner, I should have known she was in trouble.

"I.. I tried but she..she stopped me. I..I mind linked Ezra and she hurt him and then me again."

My anger began to boil through my blood again. How dare she hurt my mate, how dare she hurt an Alpha. I want to rip her to pieces but I need to think about Miracle and Ezra.

"Derek, Devon get to the living room by the game room now!"

Rosalie was still in the room until Devon took her away. Derek ran to Ezra and called for the doctor. Meanwhile through all of this I just held Miracle in my arms on the floor.

The doc came and told us to take Ezra and Miracle to the pack hospital.

I had to be restrained by my father which he wasn't pleased about as I brought him out of his retirement.

I just couldn't cope with the fact Miracle was hurt on my watch.

Miracle was fine though, she just had a few cuts, scratches and bruises which was a relief. Ezra's body went into shock because of his head injury but he was going to be fine apart from the occasional headaches.

It brought me relief to be able to finally be with her. The second they let me in I was at her side.

"Little Angel? Are you awake?"

She slowly opened her eyes and when she realised it was me she lunged into my arms.

"Hey it's okay, your alright now Little Angel."

I held her tight but not so tight that I would hurt her, her body is fragile right now.

"Ezra? Is Ezra okay?"

I hushed her and rubbed circles in her back whilst whispering smoothing words in her ear. She needs to calm down or she'll force shift.

"It's okay baby, calm down. Ezra is fine, the doc stitched his head up. He just needs rest he hasn't had another one of his panic attacks."

I could see the wave of relief wash through her body as she started to relax in my arms. She is my mate and I will do everything in my power to calm her down.

I got her to lay down on the bed but she had one condition that I laid beside her so I did.

"Feeling better Little Angel?"

She nodded and moved closer into my chest, she is so beautiful and perfect in every way.

'You got that right mate is the most beautifulest creature I have ever seen. I can't wait to see what her wolf looks like I bet she's even more breathtaking.'

Who knows Torch maybe we will get the chance to see her wolf one day Torch but I won't push her on that.

'Snowy really wants to see us too. She said she wants to see me.'

Okay Torch I get the picture, I promise I'll talk to Miracle about it but not right now ok, she needs to rest it will help her to heal properly.

'Ok I get it, you've never broken a promise before.'

"Ellis, Ellis are you okay?

I looked down at my mate, she had an adorable smile on her face and her eyes were fixed on me.

"Yeah I'm ok Little Angel. I was just talking to Torch he was worried about you. I won't let anyone come into the pack house without my say so only the people who live there ok."

I kissed her forehead and held her closer again I don't want her slipping through my fingers again.

"I love you Ellis you know that right."

I nodded my head of course I knew that, I love her so much and I know she loves me. She won't have said that she was mine otherwise.

"I know Baby, I love you too."

We stayed in silence for a few minutes savouring the moment I have with her.

"Ellis why do you call me Little Angel?"

I looked down at her again with a small smile on my face, wouldn't she like to know. I chuckled to myself before gazing back down at her pretty face.

"I'll tell you tomorrow, but for now get some sleep I love you Little Angel."

She slowly closed her eyes resting her head on my chest directly were my heart was, Goddess I love her and I love this. Her lying on my chest is so soothing.

"I love you too."
