I'm Eliza Kelman, a twenty four year old music producer. Crazy, right? I was actually born into it, my dad owned this exact red velvet and black leather studio. Before retiring, he gave a full time job to me. I'm not complaining, I dropped out of university and continued the one thing that I love to do. Although, the guy that I work with is annoyed that I have too, shall I quote, "Be a whiny brat, who has no idea what she's doing." Yeah, he said that to my dad, surprised he's not fired. But, I digress, his name is Donnie Millard, just turned thirty and he is by far one of the most pretentious jerk I have ever met. He acts like he knows everything and everyone. Literally, we're working with Sabrina Carpenter today and thinks she's new talent that has never worked in this industry before. Of course she fricking has. People like that bother the Hell out of me. Anyways, I'm so excited to be working with the one and only Sabrina Carpenter! I hope I can befriend her and have awesome hang outs. Hey, it's not too hard to get that, I'm great friends with Sam Smith, I just hung out with him last night. It's not the biggest deal... Oh who am I kidding? It's a huge deal. But I try to keep my cool. So, today I'm wearing a white t-shirt that says "Hello" on it, baby blue suspender skirt, colorful conversation, a gold, layered arrowhead necklace, baby blue nail polish, an almost nude pink lipstick with my red hair in loose, beach-like curls. Sabrina is currently recording a new song, I can't say much about it, you never know where the paparazzi is hiding. But her outfit is really cute today, she was wearing a tie-dye tank top, light blue, acid washed, ripped knee skinny jeans, braided leather, white and brown flip flops, a bunch of hipster looking bracelets, red beanie, nude pink lipstick with her hair kind of messy, couldn't really tell because of the beanie. But her outfits usually remind me of the sixties meeting the twentieth century. It's almost time for my lunch break and I honestly want to skip that and hang out with Sabrina more. Half of the reason is because Donnie's a jerk and I don't like him around my potential friends. The reason I can't skip is because my best friend, Chloe Lewis has lunch at this exact time and loves eating with me. It would be pretty rude of me to ditch my best friend, since pre-K for a celebrity.

"Hey, Sabrina, you're like amazing," I laughed, "But I have to go on my lunch break, you wanna join?" What would be so wrong if I offered? Chloe loves her too, so we both make a best friend.

"I would love too! But I'm kind of on a tight scheduled, tomorrow, maybe? I'll be back at the studio anyways."

"Yeah, sure. Uh, I guess just leave me your number and I'll text you right away!" I smiled.

She smiled back, "Sweet! You know, not many producers are as laid back as you. Most of them are super pushy."

"I am so sorry, I'm about to leave you with one. Hopefully I can make lunch short to save you from the insane, Donnie Millard." I rolled my eyes, feeling super bad for leaving her.

She giggled, "No, problem, I'm not afraid to use some girl power!"

I smiled and laughed, "He'll be right in, so I'll see you tomorrow." I waved goodbye, grabbed my teal purse and left for lunch. Before I left the building, I thought it would be a good idea to get Donnie. He might've forgotten. Wish I had the power to fire him. I knocked on his door and he yelled "come in." So, that's what I did, luckily he wasn't expecting an escort. Trust me, that has happened before.

"Ah, Eliza, here to hand in your resume?" He smirked.

"Ha-ha. You wish, but luckily for me you still have so many more years of my brattiness." I'm never going to let him live that down.

"Great, what do you want?"

"We have an artist in the studio, patiently waiting for you, so get you ass in gear." I get so much sass when I'm around this jackass. See my rhyme there?

He grabbed his coffee and walked to the studio door. Today, Donnie was wearing a grey t-shirt, blue skinny jeans, Dr. Martens black boots and his classical leather jacket. He dresses like such a guy, so lame. Anyways, I'm running a few minutes late to lunch. Luckily the coffee shop that we go to is close to my work and hers too. I'm really happy that we work in the same area. So, there she was, sitting at our usual table, outside on a lovely LA day, seeing that she already ordered her low fat mocha and my black coffee with soy milk, I'm so exciting, right? Her blonde, wavy hair swooped over her bright blue eyes as she was staring at her phone, probably Instagram. Chloe was wearing a black crop top that says, "I put the hate in whatever," high waisted, denim hot pants with daisy's on it, black cat print round toe flats, a bunch of random rings, ice cream cone earrings that are blue and pink and bright red lipstick. Classic Chloe, all through school, she always wore something quirky and this is actually normal for her. Oh and her job is a fashion journalist, so thank her for all the trends. I hurried and sat down with a big smile on my face. Hoping she will accept my apology for being late.

"Oh. So, you showed up." She was teasing me.

"I'm sorry, you know how Donnie is, always making my life harder." I rolled my eyes, "Thanks for the drink though."

"It's not free, honey," She smirked, "You gotta pay me back."

"You know I rarely ever carry cash with me."

She nodded, "We're clubbing tonight! I got two free passes to VIP."

"Um, of course I'm going! It's a party, isn't it?" I loves parties so much! That was really the only reason why I went to university.

Chloe smiled, "I knew you would be excited!"

"So, how's you and your man?" I questioned.

"Perfect, I love Lewis so much! I think I'm going to propose to him."

"Please, when you guys get married, make him use your last name. Lewis Lewis."

So, Lewis and Chloe have been dating since senior year of high school, they're both really quirky and come up with crazy designs. Lewis is an amazing elementary school art teacher. He takes pride in his work and his love life. I've never seen such a perfect couple. I also love that his first name is Lewis. I can't wait for those two to get married.

"I know I shouldn't be the one who is proposing, but-"

"Chlo, it doesn't matter who does what. As long as you guys love each other!" I interrupted her, but for a good reason as you can see.

Chloe's phone went off and she answered it. She seemed annoyed once she hung up. I just drank my coffee, hoping it wasn't anything about her relationship, not like it would be, but I want them to work so badly. She put down her phone and gave me an evil eye, "Gracie got suspended, again! She's a senior ugh it's so frustrating!"

"You want me to go with? It seems like you would need support." I offered.

"Not unless you have to get back to work."

I shook my head, "Let me just text Donnie and I'll go." I texted him, telling him that something urgent came up. He said whatever. I feel so bad for leaving Sabrina there with him, I hope she forgives me.

We showed up at Gracie's school and she was waiting in the office. I followed the ever so angry, Chloe. When we got to the office, there sitting was Gracie, looking like she didn't give one damn about anything. She was wearing black leggings with gun designs on it, a black t-shirt that says, "Hate You 2," black lace up open toe high heel boots, bright red heart shape earrings, teal and red bangle bracelets, a Batman Dark Night Joker dog tag, bright red nail polish with bright red lipstick, heavy eye make-up, a studded black backpack, her hair was up in a high pony tail and to top it off her phone case said "Poison" and had a skull and crossbones. Chloe went to the principle as I sat down with Gracie.

"School is so stupid. Why do I have to go?" She questioned.

"Just graduate high school, it gets way better. Also stop giving Chloe a hard time, she's doing her best with you."

Gracie rolled her eyes, "I know, but Jake broke up with me and it's hard to pretend to be a good kid."

"Jake is an asshole and you totally deserve better! But it doesn't give you a reason to act out."

"I wouldn't have to if someone payed the slightest bit of attention to me." Gracie added.

I put my arm around her, she's like a sister to me too. She always says that I'm the cool older sister and Chloe is the mom. But I mean, I get it, where Gracie is coming from. It sucks when you feel like no one cares about you, that was really my senior year of high school. My dad was working as long as he could, Chloe got a boyfriend, my boyfriend cheated on me, so yeah, I get it.

Chloe walked out, "Lets go." We left and got into Chloe's car, "Suspended? You know Lewis and I are never home during the day and I'm not home most nights. You got suspended for wearing stupid leggings and giving sass to the teachers."

"I didn't threaten to bomb the school!" She yelled.

"I will send you back to mom and dad, don't think I won't."

"Please don't."

"One more screw and you will be. I'm going out tonight, so you better not give Lewis a hard time."

Gracie sighed and nodded. So, the situation is that Gracie wanted to stay in LA, while their parents moved to Ohio. Chloe lives with Lewis and then added Gracie to the mix. Gracie and Lewis do get along well, so that's good. She was sitting in the front and I noticed the back of her neck, she has a bat tattoo. I quickly pulled out my phone and texted her. Before she could read it, Chloe took her phone and looked at the text. She stopped the car.

"You have a tattoo! Since when?!" Chloe yelled.

"Yesterday," She replied, "But you got one when you were 18."

"Okay, sure, that's not even the biggest problem."

"I have to get back to work." I pointed out.

Chloe drove me to my studio and I got out. I  walked in, seeing Sabrina about to leave, "Hey! I am so sorry! I got kind of held up, so sorry for leaving you with the Devil for so long."

She laughed, "No problem, he was kind of jerk, but knew what he was doing. Also, he seemed to be very worried about you."

Donnie? Worried? About me? Yeah right. I just rolled my eyes, "Did you leave your number?"

She nodded, "Yeah, I left it at the stand." She left.

I walked into the studio, noticed Donnie wasn't wearing his jacket. And I did not realize he had muscles, "Hey, I gotta head out soon, going to a night club with my friend. So, I gotta get ready."

"Alright," He shrugged and I grabbed my stuff, "Hey, be safe, okay?"

I looked at him weird, "Yeah, sure, whatever." I left. On my way home I texted Sabrina, making sure that she had my number. She does now. When I got back to my kind of small apartment, I walked into my room. So, how my apartment is laid out, when you walk in, it's the living room, connected to the pretty tight kitchen, then you walk into a small hallway, there's a small small to he left, them three bedrooms. I have to room at the end. I also sleep on my floor cause mattresses are expensive. Anyways, I opened my closet, I should also mention that my room is a mess, so it was kind of hard to get to my closet. I put on a mini maxi black leather dress, caged black heels, cat earrings, a light pink lipstick, glitter eye shadow with a black mascara. I was ready to go and within an hour, Chloe was here. She was wearing a lot red, a lace trim, red body-con dress, open toe t-strap chunky heel pumps, a real design heart brosche, bright red lipstick and tomato red eye shadow. We got to the club and went into the VIP section. All I remember is seeing a cute guy. Then it all went black.
