MONTHS had stretched into an eternity, and there was still no sign of Tarius. Gemini's heart had become a heavy burden to carry, a constant ache that gnawed at her soul. She felt lost in the world, adrift without the one person who had truly understood her.

"Maybe this is karma...for all the things I've done." Gemini's tears rolled down to cheeks. "M-Maybe Tarius already found the light...maybe he left me and chose to be with his family."

She looked at the night sky. "Don't I deserve to be happy?" She asked the stars. "I-I just want to be happy...even just this one. You t-took away from me!" She cried. 

"I don't believe in you, I-I don't believe in G-God but h-he came. He introduced me  t-to you. I-I know I'm not a good girl b-but p-please b-bring him back. Bring back Tarius! I-I need him! J-Just this one." Gemini begged. 

Moments later, there's no response. Nothing. None. 

Mapaklang napatawa ang dalaga. "Yeah right...I'm no protagonist or antagonist even in my own story. I'm just no one...an anti-hero that doesn't deserve any happy ending. An anti-hero who doesn't deserve anything…"

Days turned into endless nights where she would visit the rooftop alone, her footsteps echoing in the empty space. She would gaze at the stars, hoping for some sign, some glimmer of the connection they once shared. But there was only silence, and the wind that whispered secrets of a lost love.

He smiled, a smile that held all the love and tenderness she remembered. "Yes, Gem, it's me."

Gemini rushed towards him, and as she reached out to touch him, her hand passed right through him. She gasped, her fingers tingling with the sensation of his presence, yet unable to make physical contact.

Tarius chuckled softly. "I'm not really here, not in the way you remember. I'm a lost soul, trapped between this world and the next."

Gemini's eyes were filled with a mix of joy and sadness. "But you're here now, in some form. I've missed you so much."

Tarius nodded. "I've missed you too, Gemini. I couldn't stay away any longer."

Tarius returned to the rooftop, and Gemini couldn't believe her eyes. He was there, his presence radiating a calm and ethereal glow. A mix of relief and anxiety washed over her as she realized that he had come back, but the purpose of his return wasn't what she had hoped for.

With a heavy heart, Tarius looked into Gemini's eyes and said, "Gemini, I've come back to say goodbye."

Her heart sank as she listened to those words, her voice trembling as she asked, "Goodbye? But you just got back. W-What's going on, Tarius?"

Tarius took a deep breath and explained, "I...found the light, Gemini. It's time for me to move on to the next journey. My parents...they are waiting for me, and I want to be with them."

Tears welled up in Gemini's eyes, and she couldn't hold back the desperation in her voice. "No, Tarius, please don't go. I-I can't bear to lose you again. You mean everything to me. I-I don't want to be alone anymore. Please...stay with me, Tarius."

Stay...Stay with me, Tarius. I beg you. 

Tarius's face was filled with a mixture of love and sadness. He gently touched her cheek, a touch that was both reassuring and fleeting. "You've given me so much, Gemini. Our time together was a treasure beyond words. But it's time for me to be with my family and find peace."

Gemini couldn't hold back her emotions any longer. She fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face, and she begged, "Please, Tarius, don't leave me. I need you. I love you."

Tarius's form began to waver, the light around him growing brighter. He felt it too. He knows he loves Gemini but they can't be together. Never. Not in this kind of world. He's dead and Gemini isn't.

He whispered, "I…I'll always watch over you. You're strong, and you'll find happiness without me."

"No! Please! Stay with me! I beg you!" Gemini shouted desperately.

Gemini tried to grab him but she fell on the cold cement. Nakaramdam siya ng hapdi sa kanyang tuhod ngunit ipinagsawalang bahala niya na lamang 'yon. 

With one last longing look, Tarius slowly began to fade away into the light. Gemini reached out, her hand passing through his insubstantial form, and she could only watch as he disappeared, leaving her alone on the rooftop.

Feeling defeated, Gemini lost her balance and knelt at the floor. Her shoulders were shaking as she sobbed harder. Tears after tears. Pain after pain. It was unbearable for her. Gemini couldn't breathe. She's feeling weak.

The night seemed colder, the stars dimmer, and Gemini's heart felt heavier than ever before. Tarius had come back, but only to bid his final farewell. Though he was gone, Gemini's love for him will remain in her heart, and she would forever cherish the moments they had shared.

And then, in a moment of chaos and confusion, she heard the screeching of tires and the blaring of a horn. A car appeared out of nowhere, sliding on the wet pavement, and before she could react, it struck her with a jarring impact.

Time seemed to slow down as she was thrown to the ground, pain searing through her body. She could feel the cold rain on her skin and hear the distant cries of people rushing to her aid. Her vision blurred, and she struggled to stay conscious, her thoughts drifting back to Tarius, as if he were a guardian angel watching over her.

Gemini's world faded into darkness as the rain continued to pour, a cruel twist of fate that had brought her pain and uncertainty once more.

But before she closed her eyes, she saw someone. Looking at her with full of hatred, grinning at her wickedly. 

"Tarius...h-help…" was the last thing Gemini whispered before she lost consciousness.

The driver of the car was cruel. The car passed by her body. The driver was laughing wickedly. The driver…it was her. It was Gemanie, her twin sister.
