It was evening when Gauri came in OM. After meeting Janvi, Anika and Bhavya she went to her room as Janu still didn't arrived from school. She thought that Om must be planning something for her and that's why he forget to come to airport. She entered in the room but forget to close it. Om was standing near his table facing his back to her. She went and slowly hug him from behind. But as soon as she hugged him he forcefully removed her hands and jerked them. At first Gauri was shocked but then he turned to her. After looking at his eyes and facial expression she understood that he was angry on something.

Gauri: kya hua Om? koi problem hai kya?

Om(shouting): tum...tum ho meri problem?

Gauri: par hua kya?

Om: main yaha nahi tha tab tumne mom se jagda kiya tha na? (hold her from shoulder tightly and she whined due to pain)(in harsh whisper) how dare you talk like that to my mom??

Gauri(trying to free herself from his grip): Om leave me...It's hurting...

Om: aur jo tumne kiya hai uski vajah se mujhe dard hua uska kya??

Gauri(pushing him with all her might)(little angry with moist eyes): thak gayi thi mein uss din, sari raat kam kar k...kuch der sona chahti thi lekin mom ne aate rok liya aur nikal gaya hoga gusse mein mere muh se...isme itni badi baat nahi hai...hum bhul chuke hai, acha hoga ki tum bhi bhul jao...

Om(angrily): tumhe kya lagta hai, main itni aasani se ye baat...

Just then they both noticed Janu who was standing on the entrance looking at both of them. She came inside and Om sat infront of her. Guari turned to other side and wiped her tears and then sat infront of her.

Janu: mumma papa aap dono fighting kar rahe the na?

Gauri: nahi beta,, hum to bas aise hi...

Jannu: maine dekha papa aapko daant rahe the aur phir aapne papa ko push kiya aur aap ro bhi rahi ho...(she wiped the tears which arrived at corner of Gauri's eyes with her little hand.)

Om: vaise tum school se kab aayi beta?

Janu: main dadi ko aur badi mumma ko jakr bata dungi ki aap jagda kar rahe the...

Rikara's expression changed to tensed one. They immediately stopped her. Gauri closed the door and make her sit on the bed and the both sit on either side of her. Somehow they make her understand that they both were not fighting and not to speak anything in front of anyone. After she agreed to them they sighed in relief.

It was a week or 10 days after their fight. Om and Gauri started talking normally to each other. Gradually they forget their fight and started talking but the grievance was somewhere still there. That day there was some function In Janya's school and all the parents were invited. Janu informed about it to Rikara 2 days before and they both agreed to accompany her. But at the last moment they forget about it and didn't went to her school. Her friends came with their parents while she was alone. She was waiting for Rikara till end but they didn't came. She was very disappointed and came home with driver. At night when Rikara came she was crying while everyone were trying to calm her down. Om and Gauri saw her crying and ran to her.

Om: Janu,, beta kya hua? ro kyun rahi ho?

Gauri(tensed): kya hua Janu? school mein kuch hua hai kya? (wiping her tears)why are you crying?

Om(to Janvi): mom, kya hua ise? itna ro kyun rahi hai?

Janvi(angrily): tum dono ye na pucho to hi behtar hoga...

Gauri: matlb? (to Anika and Bhavya) bhabhi, Bhavya...kya hua hai? please bataiye na....

Shivaay: ohh really Gauri...tum dono ko sach mein nahi pata ki aaj kya tha...(Rikara looked at him with confused expression)(sarcastically) great...

Rudra: aaj Janu ki school mein annual function tha...agar aap dono bhul gaye ho to main yaad dila deta hoon...

Om: ohh god...main ye kaise bhul sakta hoon!

Gauri(tapping her forehead with hands): OMG I completely forget about it...

Janya, who was sitting in the middle of Anika and Janvi ran to the room crying. Rikara looked at her apologetically. While everyone gave them angry look. They both went behind her. They entered in the room and sat either side while she was sitting in the middle. Om wiped her tears and made her sit in his lap. They both started consoling her with the different ideas. After an hour of consoling finally she forgave them. They promised her to never repeat the mistake again. After sometime they make her sleep and sighed in relief. Om went to freshen up while Gauri was patting Jnau who was sleeping.

After sometime:

Gauri(coming from bathroom): Om, main bhul gayi thi lekin tumhe to yaad hona chahiye tha na...

Om: aur agar yahi baat main kahu to tumse? tum maa ho uski, apne office ke kam mein itna bhi kya busy ho gayi thi ki aaj uska annual function hai ye bhul gayi?

Gauri: agar mein bhul gayi iska matlb ye to nahi hai na ki tum bhi bhul jao...aisa to kya kam tha ki tum bhul gaye?

Om: aaj mein studio mein nahi tha...important meetin thi to client se milne bahar gaya tha...

Gauri(sitting on the bed)(angrily): agar maine ye kaha hota na ki meri important meeting thi to tum yahi kehte ki vo to roj hoti hai...ab uske friends k parents kya soachenge...

Om: agar tumne yaad rakha hota to aaj ye nahi hota...

Gauri: tumse na baat karna hi bekar hai...agar galti tumhari bhi hogi na to kabhi accept nahi karoge...

Om(came close to her): let it be Gauri, aaj itne dino baad humein time mila hai ek saath...(he hide her face in the crook of her neck and inhaled it)(whispering) hope you know what I mean...

Gauri(little loudly): Om yaha serious baat chal rahi hai aur tum...

Om(going back)(irritated): okay fine...bolo kya kehna hai?

But before Gauri could say anything Janu wakes up. She sat on the bed and looked at Rikara.

Janu(innocently): aap dono firse fight kar rahe ho? kyun?

Rikara looked at each other like they caught red handed. Gauri tried to avoid the question by making her put to sleep again but she was also stubborn.

Janu: aap dono hamesha ladte rehte ho...kyun? maine mere friends se pucha tha to unhone kaha ki unke mumma papa to harroj nahi ladte...to phir aap dono kyun fight karte rehte ho?

Om: Janu aisi baatein apne friends se nahi karte....

Gauri: vo vahi kahegi na jo vo sunegi aur dekhegi? how can you expect from her these things? she is so small to understand...

Om: Gauri hum iss bare mein baad mein baat karenge...(standing up from bed)abhi tum dono so jao, mujhe ek painting complete karni hai. (kissing Janu) good night beta.....

Next morning:

After breakfast Gauri was getting ready for office while Om came after taking shower. Gauri wanted to talk something important to Om and Janu was not at home so she thought it's the perfect chance to talk to him because she didn't want her to saw them fighting or arguing again.

Gauri: mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai!

Om(removing his clothes out of the cupboard): hmm...

Gauri: tum free ho na abhi?

Om(still finding his clothes): han, bolo na...

Gauri went to cupboard and gave him clothes out of it.

Gauri: ye lo, pehno aur meri baat suno ab....

Om: han par bolo na, kab se sun hi to raha hoon...

Gauri: tum yaha dekh kar baat karo, it's important...apne baal baad mein set karna...

Om(sitting infront of her): bolo, kya baat hai?

Gauri: pichle kuch dino se jo kuch ho raha hai,, I mean hamare bich itne differences and all that...

Om: I know Gauri, but thoda time do, vaqt k saath sab thik ho jayega...

Gauri: hum dono ka to samaj mein aata hai, lekin Janu? uska kya?

Om: what about her?

Gauri: usne hame kitni baar aise argument karte hue dekh liya hai, uske uper kaisa asar hota hoga iss sab ka? Om vo ek choti bacchi hai,,aur vo log jo dekhte hai iss umar mein, uski impact sabse jyada hoti hai...

Om: matlb?

Gauri: tum samaj kyun nahi rahe ho?

Om: tum thik se bol bhi to nahi rahi ho...hum ek kaam karte hai, hum dono try karte hai uske samne jagda nahi karne ka...infact hum iss problem ko hi solve kar lete hai...

Gauri: aur agar dobara aisa hua to? tumhe bhi pata hai aur mujhe bhi pata hai ki hum dono usko bilkul bhi time nahi de pa rahe hai, na hi uski school k bare mein hame jyada kuch pata hai...pehle tum Germany gaye, phir maine business handle kiya then US aur sab...kal bhi hum bhul gaye ki uski school mein function hai...aisa kab tak chalega? kabhi na kabhi to hame sab kuch handle karna padega na? kab tak mom aur Bhabhi sab handle karenge?

Om went into deep thoughts after hearing that. She was right from her point of view. They were not giving her time and didn't he know that what was happening in her school. They both were so busy in their own life that they didn't paid any attention to Janya. Yes, they love her, infact they love her the most...but they hardly get any time to spend with her. Janvi takes care of her most of the time. Annika is running her own event management company but as Shivani is just a year old she also work from home, so she can't get much time. Bhavya has duty any time, still she tried to take care of Janu. After all parents have to take care of their child. After lots of thinking finally he spoke.

Om: baat to tumhari sahi hai....to ab kya kare?

Gauri: I've a solution but tumhe mujhe support karna hoga...

Om: what solution?

Gauri: dehradun...

Om: huh??

Gauri: Shivaay Bhaiya ki jo hostel hai dehradun mein hum Janu ko vaha bhej sakte hai,...

Om: what? hostel? hum use yaha time dene ki baat kar rahe hai aur tum use humse dur bhejne ki baat kar rahi ho?

Gauri: pehle tum meri puri baat to suno...(he looked at her) dekho, think practically, okay? aisa nahi hai ki main Jnau ko khud se dur bhejna chahti hoon...main bhi maa hoon uski, mujhe bhi nahi bhejna use but main time bhi to nahi de pa rahi hoon....tumne Germany mein abhi abhi sab set up kiya hai...aur phir yaha ka business to hai hi...to tumhe sab settle down karne mein time lagega. Aur meri baat kare to papa ne retirement le li hai...to main bhi akeli hoon...aur sab kuch handle karne mein, samajne mein time lagega mujhe bhi...sayad ek do saal...we'll send her for only a year...uske baad to sab thik ho jayega aur sayad hamare differences bhi...

Om agreed to her and decided to tell that to everyone. They hesitated a little but they both told them everything except their arguments and after lots of convincing they agreed. Now left only Janu. Rikara went in her room and tried to told her about it.

Janu: lekin papa main yaha bhi to reh sakti hoon na,,

Om: bilkul reh sakti ho par soacho beta tum vaha jaogi to tumhare kitne sare friends banenge? naye teachers aur naye friends...aur phir vo school bhi to bade papa ka hai...it'll be great fun.

Gauri: aur next year to tum yaha vapas bhi aa jaogi...

Om: aur tumhe sab vaha milne aayenge, tumhare liye gifts bhi layenge...aur phir tab tak mumma papa thode free bhi ho jayenge...

Janu: sab milne aayenge?

Gauri: aur nahi to kya? dadi, dadu, choti dadi, chote dadu, mumma, papa, badi mumma, bade papa, dev, chahi, chahu sab...

After convincing her for an hour she agreed for it. After a week everyone went to her hostel to drop her. After completing all the formalities they came back. Everyone get back to the same routine after some days. Though Rikara were missing Janu they convinced themselves and tried to be busy in their work.

Flashback ends...

It was a week and the time for Janu to go back to Dehradun. Rikara still didn't told her about their divorce because they didn't wanted her to disturb her studies. They decided to told her after the orders of court. while no one from the family asked them to tell Janu not wanting to speak in their personal matters. They both went to her hostel with her to drop her. She went to her room while Rikara went to one of the room which Shivaay has arranged for them. It was night and the atmosphere was cold due to hill station. Rikara again fought on something and Gauri left the room with anger. She was walking on the empty compound of hostel. There was no one, she was alone there. She went out of the hostel and started walking on the road though she was feeling cold. But after sometime the cold became unbearable as it was the month of January. She started walking back to the hostel but suddenly it started raining. She stood there under one tree and was waiting for the rain to stop.

Here Om was angry on her because she again fought with him due to some minor thing. He knew that she didn't take her shawl or sweater with her but his ego stopped him from stopping her. It was an hour when she went out and he became restless. And the sudden change in atmosphere and rain increased his restlessness. He immediately went to the watchman's cabin to ask for an umbrella.

Om: kya aapke pass chata hai? (the watchman gave him umbrella) lekin ye baarish, achanak kaise?

Watchman: ye dehradun hai, yaha to barish hoti rehti hai...lekin aap jaldi wapas aana, thand bahot hi jyada hai...

After thinking about the cold and the rain he took his car in search of Gauri. Gauri was standing under a tree still she was fully wet and the clothes were hugging her body. Her full body was shivering with cold and after a minute she felt everything became blank. She became unconscious and fell on the ground. After sometime Om passed from there and felt that Gauri was somewhere around. He looked out of the car and found her lying unconsciously on ground. he immediately rushed to her and tried to wake her up. She didn't opened her eyes so he take her to their room. Without wasting time he removed her clothes and dried her with towel. He kept rubbing her hand for sometime but it was of no use. She didn't responded to him. So he removed his clothes to give her his body warmth. He covered them in a duvet and hugged her all the time rubbing her palm. It was like deja vu. He went into the memory lane before 10 years when first time she became unconscious and like this he gave his body warmth to her. He still remember each and every detail of their first night.

But this time when he felt that she was normal in the early hours of morning he wore his clothes and slept on the other side. The next morning when she woke up she found herself in the room and covered in duvet. Her clothes were also changed and she was not wearing anything underneath it. She looked at Om who was sleeping on the other side. She didn't remember anything after being unconscious but she knew that he bring her back and changed her clothes. After sometime when she came out after taking bath he was already awake.

Gauri: urmmm....kal raat k liye thank you.

Om: next time se dhayan rakhna, divorce k baad har baar main saath mein nahi rahunga.

It hurt her hard after realizing that he will not be there with her after divorce and hurt him as well to spoke those brutal words. After a day they came back to mumbai. Gauri arranged divorce papers and asked the lawyer to not to delay even a single day for divorce. On the other hand Shivaay asked the judge to delay the divorce at least for 3 months. Om and Gauri went to the court and when judge passed the orders stating them to stay together for 3 month they became shocked but inside they were happy because somewhere they also didn't want to get apart.

Gauri still haven't informed her father about their divorce so she and Om went to her home because they can't hide about their divorce from her father.

Mr. Sharma: Omkara, Gauri....tum dono achanak? baitho na...Kishan(to the servant) pani lekr aao...lekin phone to karna tha aane se pehle...

Gauri: vo papa...baat hi kuch aisi thi ki...

Mr. Sharma: kya baat hai beta? koi business related baat hai?

Om: nahi papa vo actually hamein aapko kuch batana tha...

Mr. Sharma: han bolo na, kya baat hai?

Guari: dekhiye papa aap pehle hamari baat sunna phir kuch react karna...thik hai?

Mr. Sharma: koi problem hai? (she looked down) sab thik hai na Gauri? Janu to thik hai na? (restless) bolo na Gauri...Omkara kya baat hai? ab mujhe tension ho rahi hai...batao na...

Om: vo papa...humne decide kiya hai ki...hum dono...hum dono divorce lena chahte hai, court main humne divorce file kar diya hai aur teen mahine k stay orders mile hai..(he said in one go)

Mr. Sharma(shocked to the hell): what???Guari kya ye sach hai?

Guari(looking down): han...

Mr. Sharma(standing up): what the hell are you saying? tum dono ko pata bhi hai...(hurt) aur tum dono mein se kisi ko bhi ye baat mujhe pehle batani thik nahi lagi? aur tumne divorce tak file kar diya lekin mujhe nahi bataya? agar aaj divorce ho jata aur 3 mahine ka stay order nahi mila hota to lagta hai mujhe divorce hone k baad hi pata chalta...

Om: nahi papa...hum aapko pareshan nahi karna chahte the...

Tej(angrily): par pareshan to main ab bhi ho raha hoon na...aur divorce? (loudly) majak samaj k rakha hai shadi ko? aisa to kya ho gaya ki tumhe divorce lena hai? (he started coughing)

Gauri: papa...(she make him sit on the sofa) papa...Om pani...

Om: papa...Gauri ye lo pani...papa....

Gauri made him drink water. But before drinking the water he passed out.

Gauri(loudly): papa...(shrugging him) papa...

Om: papa...papa...(he sprinkled water on him but of no use) Gauri inhe hospital lekr chalte hai...

Gauri: hospital? (crying) papa...papa...

Om: Gauri, calm down...

Gauri(crying): Om kya hua hai papa ko?

Om: rona bandh karo, sab thik ho jayega,,, pehle inhe hospital lekr chalte hai...

They took him to the hospital and doctor took him into the OT. Gauri and Om were waiting outside. Gauri was crying badly. Om went to her and side hugged her. She hugged him tightly all the time blabbering something.

Gauri: papa thik to ho jayenge na?...Om unko...(sobbing) unko meri vajah se...meri vajah se unki ye halat hai...agar unhe...kuch ho gaya...

Om(consoling her): shhhh...shhh....kuch nahi hoga unhe... tum rona bandh karo...Gauri rona bandh karo...

After sometime doctor came out.

Gauri(standing up): sir,, papa...thik hai na vo?

Doctor: Mrs. Oberoi calm down...he is fine now. minor attack tha, lekin chinta karne ki koi baat nahi hai...

Om: kya hum unhe ghar le ja sakte hai?

Doctor: aaj nahi...aap kal unhe le ja sakte hai...but dhyan rahe unhe bilkul bhi stress nahi hona chahiye...otherwise unhe bada attack be aa sakta hai...

Om: ji, thank you, doctor.

After sometime...

Gauri: Om...thank you.

Om: thank you kyun??

Gauri: tumne itni help ki isliye...agar tum nahi hote to...I mean...thank you.

Om(hurt): hamare bich ye thank you kab se aa gaya Gauri? aur ye mera farj hai...after all I'm your husband...

He looked at her after speaking that and realized what he spoke. They shared an eye lock but didn't utter anything. She went out without speaking anything.
