[Before writing further let me clear something. This is the epilogue of my ff 'The Trip' but you can also consider this as an OS, if you don't know the plot then I am writing it's summary here.]

Gauri met Om in the middle of the road while he was going to Shimla for a trip. Gauri's to be fiance left her in the middle of the road due to some reasons and she asked for a lift to Om. They became friends in meantime and also started developing feeling for each other. But before they could recognize their feelings for each other circumstances led them to different situation. They have had sex one night. Om was feeling bad for it while Gauri was calm all the time. He decided to seek forgiveness from her at night and at that time she confessed her feelings for him. They handled the situation maturely. After coming back from Shimla he also confessed his feelings and their family decided to get them married after some months. Gauri had so much plans for her wedding, she was expecting a grand destination wedding out of India. But within next 15 days she came to know that she was pregnant and informed Om also. She decided that she'll give birth to that child as the child was sign of their love and Om also supported her. They preponed the marriage and started their marriage life happily.

(One thing I want to clarify that Gauri is not an ideal bahu like TV.)

[P.s Rudra and Bhavya are married from 5 years and everything is same as serial (before redux), Dadi is no more]

Janya Singh Oberoi: Rikara's daughter (9 years old)

Dev Singh Oberoi: Shivika's son (7 years old)

Shivani Singh Oberoi: Shivika's daughter(4 years old)

Darsh Singh Oberoi: Ruvya's son (2 years old)

(P.s.- guys I'm super bad with writing stuff of kids and their talks and everything relating to them,,still I'll try my best. But forgive me in advance if I couldn't.)

:AFTER 10 YEARS:

It was wedding anniversary of Rikara. Oberoi mansion was beautifully decorated and all the big business tycoon of mumbai were invited. Anika and Shivaay were welcoming guests along with their beautiful daughter Shivani and Janya. Rudra and Bhavya were busy with Dev and Darsh. Tej, Janvi, Shakti and Pinky were busy with guests talking. Just then a beautiful couple came downstairs with hand in hand. All the focus went on them and everyone's eyes stuck on them. Both were looking fabulous together, just like Shiv and Parvati or Krishna and Radha. They both came in between the hall and one by one everyone wished them. Yes they are none other than Gauri and Omkara!

Anika(putting some kohl behind their ears from her eyes): bahot hi sundar lag rahe ho dono...bhagvan kare kisi ki najar na lage...

Rudra: happy marriage anniversary O...happy marriage anniversary bhabhi...

Bhavya: happy anniversary to both of you...

Shivaay(he came forward and hugged them): may god bless you both...tum dono ko kisi ki najar na lage...happy marriage anniversary.

Om: thank you guys...

Gauri: thank you...

Janya came to them. Rikara immediately sat down to talk with their beautiful daughter.

Janya: mumma, papa aap dono bahot hi ache lag rahe ho...

Rikara: thank you Janu...

Janya: ab aap dono ye batao ki main kaisi lag rahi hoon...mujhe badi maa ne taiyaar kiya hai...

Gauri(putting some kohl behind her ears): bahot hi sundar lag rahi ho...(she hugged her)

Om: ab papa ki princess hai to beautiful to lagegi hi na...(she hugged him in response and put a kiss on his cheeks. While everyone smiled at their bonding.) acha tumne badi maa ko thanks bola?

Janu: han...par unhone kaha ki badi maa ko thanks nahi bolte, iss liye maine unko ek kiss kiya...

Everyone smiled at her cuteness. The party was going on with obviously Rikara being the center of attraction. After sometime they cut the cake. Janvya, Dev and Shivani gave a beautiful dance performance with little Darsh trying to match their steps. It was time for a couple dance. All the three Oberoi brothers headed to the dance floor with their beautiful wives while their children were cheering up for them. After a couple dance Shivaay and Gauri answered some questions of media as they are the biggest business tycoon of the city owning different companies and still there were no rivalry between them. Everyone gathered for a family picture and spent some Obro moments. All the guests started leaving as the party got over. Rikara were still standing there bidding everyone bye. They looked around to find Anika and Shivaay were standing in front of photographer with their children and posing for a perfect family picture. On the other side Rudra and Bhavya were trying to make Darsh eat his food by doing some antics. Janya was already asleep tired due to travelling and party. Shakti and Pinky were talking to their guests while Tej and Janvi already left to sleep. Gauri's eyes became moist after looking at everyone which didn't go unnoticed by Om. Looking Bhavya and Rudra coming to them she immediately wiped her tears.

Bhavya: Guari almost sare guest ja chuke hai...aap dono ko bhi room mein jana chahiye...

Rudra(mischievously): hamara gift room mein aapka intejar kar raha hai...(while Bhavya nudged him)

Bhavya: aap dono Janu ki fikar mat karna, vo so gayi hai...aur agar uth gayi to main uska khayal rakhungi....

Rudra(winking at Om): just enjoy yourself guys...

While Rikara smiled at them. They again went to Darsh and Rikara headed to their room. But Shivaay called Om.

Shivaay: Om...

Om: han?

Shivaay: vo mujhe tujse kuch kaam tha...

Om: han, bol na?

Shivaay: vo Dev ko na tere haath ki brownie khani hai...maine bahot samjaya par maan nahi raha hai..

Om: to usmein kya hai...main abhi bana deta hoon...

Guari: bade bhaiya main bana doon?

Om: nahi Gauri, main banata hoon...tum change kar lo...

Shivaay: sorry guys, disturb kar diya mine...tum dono ko hardly tim milta hai aur...par agar use abhi nahi denge to vo raat ko pareshan karega...

Gauri: nahi bade bhaiya,,,kaisi baatein kar rahe hai...aur aisi baatein kar ke hame paraya mat kijiye...acha mein change kar leti hoon, Om tum aaram se aao...

She left from there while Shivaay and Om headed to kitchen. Om started making brownie.

Shivaay: once again sorry yaar Om...Rudy aur Bhavya ne tum dono k liye vo sab plan kiya aur tha aur tumhe ye sab karna pad raha hai...

Om: ab agar ek aur baar sorry bola hai na to main tujse baat nahi karunga...Dev mera bhi beta hai, uske liye kuch bhi yaar...aur abhi to sari raat baki hai...(he told that making Shivaay chuckle)

Shivaay: acha hua usne abhi bol diya varna mujhe aadhi raat ko tujhe disturb karna padta (he winked at Om while he just smiled.)

In Rikara's room:

Gauri entered in the room and found the whole room decorated just like their first night. There was a card on the couch, she took it and read the message inside.

"Nothing is perfect in the world but you two are very close to the word 'perfect'. May your love and companionship last forever. A small anniversary gift for the beautiful couple from another beautiful couple!"

A small tear escaped her eyes reading that wish and the love everyone contains for them. She put it in the cupboard safely. She again looked at the decoration of room and let out a sigh.

Gauri was standing in front of dressing table and removing her jewellery when Om entered in the room. She just looked at him while he closed the door. He looked at the room and then at Gauri. Then he realized the this was arranged by Rudra and Bhavya. He throw his jacket of suit on the bed and went into the bathroom after taking his night dress. After sometime he came outside to find Gauri arranging her things in cupboard.

Om(sitting on the bed): ab mujse ye sab nahi hoga...ye happy couple ki acting and all that, I think we should stop it here only...

Gauri(calmly): mujhe bhi ye sab karne ka koi shaukh nahi hai...

Om(little angry): to phir ye party k liye han kyun kaha...tumne hi han kaha tha na jab Shivaay ne party k liye pucha tha?

Gauri: maine aise hi han nahi kaha tha...ek baar sabka pyaar dekhoge to samaj mein aayega...bade bhaiya ne kitne pyaar se pucha tha to main mana nahi kar payi aur phir Rudy bhaiya aur Bhavya ne bhi ye sab arrange kiya hai...agar hum mana kar dete to unhe bura lagta...aur Anika Bhabhi ne already Janu ko hostel se bula liya tha...isiliye maine han bol diya...

Om(angrily): to phir ek kaam karte hai, iss sab par full stop lagate hai...

Gauri: jo bhi karna hai karo, bas uska anjam kya hoga vo soach lena...

Om: aaj nahi to kal divorce hona hi hai, aur jitni jaldi sab log iss baat ko accept kar lenge utna acha hai, at least sabke samne ye natak to nahi karna padega...

Guari(calmly): okay, get the papers ready...I'll sign it!

Om(irritated with her calm tone)(standing up from the bed): jyada achi banne ki kosis mat karo tum...(angrily)tumhari bhi galti hai jo ho raha hai uss mein..

Guari: to maine kab mana kiya? bas ek baat yaad rakhna ki court 6 mahine k stay orders bhi de sakti hai aur uss time mein hum iss tarah ghar se bhaag nahi sakte...

Om: I'll make sure ki aisa kuch na ho...

Gauri: vo to main bhi sambhal sakti hoon...bas ek call aur kal divorce ho jayega.

Om: jo karna hai vo karo bas mujhe iss rishte mein aur nahi rehna...sab so gaye honge, mein studio mein hoon...

He started to go from there but her voice stopped him.

Gauri: Janu mere saath rahegi!

He turned around to find her looking at him with challenging eyes.

Om(gritting his teeth): iss bare mein hum pehle bhi baat kar chucke hai, vo mere saath rahegi...

Gauri: tay ye hua tha ki use jiske saath rehna hai vo uske saath rahegi, par mujhe pata hai vo mere saath hi rehna chahegi...

Om: ye tumhara business nahi hai jo sab tumhare hisab se chalega...phir bhi dekhte hai...

Gauri: papers ready karwane se pehle ek baar ghar mein sab se baat kar lena...

Om: mein akela divore nahi le raha hoon, tum bhi yahi chahti ho...tumhe bhi sabse baat karni padegi...

Guari: Janu jab hostel chali jayegi, uske baad hum sab se baat karenge...

He didn't replied to her and left the room. Guari also changed in night clothes and come out of the bathroom. She sat on the bed and took the photo frame of them. She, Om and a 2 year old Janya,, she caressed Om's face who was looking so happy in that picture. A tear escaped from her eyes and she kissed Om's photo. She slowly came out of the room and looked around to find if anyone is there or not. As it was late night everyone were sleeping. She went into Janya's room who was sleeping with Shivani and Dev. She sat on the floor beside her and keep looking at her sleeping form for long time. After all she hardly gets chance to come home from her busy life of hostel.

From the last 3 years she was living in hostel because they both didn't wanted to let her know about their fights or day by day getting worse relationship. Somehow they managed to hide it from everyone but they couldn't hide it from Janu, so they sent her to hostel at Dehradun owned by Shivaay. She kissed her on forehead. She couldn't hold her tears more and immediately left the room. She looked at the clock and it was two in the night. Around this time every night Om came from studio so she immediately slept on her side. Due to tiredness of whole day sleep took over her.

Om entered inside the OM carefully and directly went to Janya's room. No matter what they both love their daughter more than anything and can do anything for her. Like Gauri he also sat near the bed and caressed his little princess' hair. Everything changed in this ten years. It became difficult for them to handle a relationship called 'marriage'. Their daughter is only source of happiness in their life. The whole day they just spent only 15 minutes together while talking to their daughter through video call. In morning Gauri went to office after breakfast and Om wake up late because he came late at night. Only at dinner time as per Shivaay's instruction they take it together and after that they talk to Janya for 15 minutes. Then he left for his studio and come late at night and by then she was asleep. Everyone thinks that they didn't get time to spend together due to busy schedule but who knows that they themselves don't want to spend time together. He put a kiss on Janya's cheek and went in his room.

Gauri was sleeping on her side of bed as usual, but something was different. He went near her and found her cheeks wet. Was she crying? But why? He felt the pain in his heart which he felt every time when she cries. It's true we can not remove or break the connection made by heart. He slowly sat near her and wiped her tears which seems to be fresh. He went on his side of the bed and slept. After sometime he turned to her and put a kiss on her temple and again went to sleep. Indeed everything is changed, except, their LOVE for each other!

The whole next day, both Om and Gauri took a leave and spend with Janya. She was going back to hostel after a week so they decided to spend some time with her. At evening both Om and Gauri decided to tell the truth of their relationship to the whole family as they both couldn't pretend to be happy couple any more. Gauri send Janu to her father's house with Shivani and Dev and he took them to some kidz zone. Rikara asked everyone to came in the hall and everyone gathered as per their wish.

Shivaay: kya baat hai Om? koi problem hai jo sabko ek saath yaha bulaya?

Rudra: ya phir koi khushkhabri hai? han?

Om: main aur Gauri aap sab ko kuch batana chahte hai...

Tej: han bolo na beta, kya baat hai?

Om: Mom dad...., 'we want a divorce'!

For a good 5 minutes there was pin drop silence. No one spoke anything, they were trying to digest what he just said as a casual sentence. After sometime Shivaay dared to ask that again.

Shivaay(laughing): I think I didn't hear you properly...can you please repeat that?

This time Gauri spoke.

Gauri: bade bhaiya aapne sahi suna...hame divorce chahiye...

Janvi(coming infront of Om): dekho agar ye majak hai to ye bahot hi ghatiya majak hai...Gauri beta please ye sab abhi bandh kar do...

Tej: Janvi sahi keh rahi hai...ye majak karne ka time nahi hai, dekho sab log pareshan ho rahe hai...please tum dono ye jo kuch bhi kar rahe ho vo bandh karo; (with a little anger) and don't you dare to say that ye sab sach hai!

The situation was getting worse so Bhavya called a maid and asked her to take Darsh in the room.

Bhavya(coming to Gauri): Gauri ye sab kya hai...aisa kya hua jo aap dono itni badi baat bol rahe ho?

Pinky: ye sab kya hai Om? kuch saal pehle dono aakr bolte ho hame shadi karni hai...ab bol rahe ho ki hame divorce chahiye, ye shadi hai koi majak nahi hai...

Shakti: aur koi choti moti si problem ki vajah se tum dono ye rishta nahi tod sakte...

Anika: Om-Gauri, batao ki aisa kya hua hai, jiski vajah se tum dono ko divorce chahiye??problem kya hai?

Gauri: kitni problems solve karenge aap bhabhi? ye sab aaj se nahi pichle 3 saalon se chalta aa raha hai...phir bhi mein itne saalon se chup hoon...

Om: bahot ho gaya ab...ab mujse ye happily married couple vala drama nahi hoga

They all became shocked after listening to them. This was going on from 3 long years and they didn't have a single clue about this. How they couldn't find out that what was going in their house. Such a good actors they are!! Janvi sat on the sofa with a thud while Tej and Pinky consoled her.

Shivaay: 3 saal se? aur itni badi baat tum dono ne hum main se kisi ko bhi batani jaruri nahi samji?

Anika :mujhe tum dono se ye umeed nahi thi...

Rudra(who was silent all the time): main to aap dono ko perfect coupple samajta tha. Shivaay bhaiya aur bhabhi to kabhi kabhi ladte bhi the lekin pichle kuch salon mein maine aap dono ko ek dusre se naaraj hote hue tak nahi dekha!

Bhavya: pata hai, Rudy mujhe hamesha kehta hai ki aap dono se hame kuch sikhna chahiye...kitna pyaar hai aap dono mein...

Rudra: lekin hame nahi pata tha ki aap dono itne time se natak kar rahe the...

Anika: main hamesha bhagvan se yahi mangti thi ki vo hamesha tum dono ko isi tarah khush rakhe, tum dono k bich kabhi koi problem na aaye...(sadly)lekin lagta hai mujse hi mangne mein koi galti hui hogi!

Everyone were accusing them and asking them to justify their decision. While they both were guilty for not informing their family and hurting them. Rikara stood among everyone looking at the floor.

Shivaay(loudly): okay stop it everyone!

Everyone became silent while Om and Gauri looked at him.

Shivaay: agar aap sab log hi bolte rahoge to ye dono apne decision ko justify kaise karenge? inko bhi to bolne ka mauka do...Om, Gauri, tum dono k iss faisle se sab heran bhi hai aur hum sab hurt bhi hue hai...tum dono k pass koi proper reason hai divorce lene ka?

Om and Gauri looked at each other. They didn't have any strong reason to take divorce and they also knew that this question will surely come and both were prepared for it.

Om: dekh Shivaay, ye hum dono ka mutual decision hai aur sorry to say but ye hamara aapas ka mamla hai to please let us do what we want!

Gauri: mujhe pata hai bade bahiya ki aap sab log humse naaraj hai lekin hamare pass koi aur option nahi hai....(joining her hands) ho sake to hame maaf kar dijiye!

Shivaay(coldly): okay...hum sab mein se koi tum dono ko kuch nahi kahega...

Anika: par Shivaay...

Shivaay(stopping her): let me speak,(hurt) tum dono ne sahi kaha ye tum dono ka personal matter hai, hum kaun hote hai bich mein bolne vale! vaise bhi jabardasti k riste mein rehne se to acha hai ki tum dono ye rista khatam kar do....

Janvi(sadly): acha hai aaj mummyji nahi hai yaha par...varna vo ye sab kabhi bardast nahi kar pati...(she went from there)

Tej(firmly): lekin divorce ki baat Janu se kaise karni hai ye tay kar lena...uako kaise samjana hai aur kaise manana hai ye tum dono k uper hai...(sternly) aur han, uss bachi se juth mat bolna!

Tej also left the place. Pinky and Shakti also gave them angry look and went to their room. Gauri's eyes were already moist. She wanted to cry out loud but it was her own decision and she knew that it will hurt all the family members so she couldn't afford to be weak. Om also became tensed after Shivaay and Rudra's response. He knew that it'll take very long time to win their heart again. Shivaay and Anika also started to go from there when Om hold Shivaay.

Om: Shivaay please samajne ki kosis kar, hum saath mein nahi rehna chahte, aur rishte to dil se nibhaye jate hai na, na ki jabardasti se...(but Shivaay didn't paid attention and also didn't looked at him) Shivaay kuch to bol...

Shivaay: Anika chalo, raat bahot ho gayi hai....

Gauri(holding Anika's hand): bhabhi please bade bhaiya ko kahiye na ki kuch boole...

But Shivaay hold Anika's hand and took her to the room. Rudra and Bhavya also started to go.

Om: Rudra please yaar,, tu to aisa mat kar...

Rudra: O jo aapne kiya uske baad aap aisi umeed bhi kaise rakh sakte ho ki sab normal ho jayega?

Gauri(teary eyes): Rudy bhaiya please...Bhavya tu to samajti hai na mujhe...

Bhavya: Gauri, aap dono ne jo kiya vo hai to galat, par phir bhi sabko thoda time de...sayad sab thik ho jaye.

Saying that they both also left from there. Tears started flowing from Gauri's eyes as well as Om's eyes also became moist. She collapsed on floor and started crying thinking about everyone's reaction and what will be her father's reaction. Om couldn't see her like that and sat beside her. He hugged her from side and consoled her by rubbing her arms. A tear escaped from his eyes as well and he immediately wiped it.

Om: Gauri rona bandh karo aur room mein chalo...

He make her stand up and both went into the room. Both slept on the either side of the bed with their back facing each other.
