Hi! My names Sara and this is my first "book" that I'm posting on wattpad! Please excuse any punctuation errors, for this is sort of just a draft. If you think of anything you think I should add, or take out, please feel free to comment it! I'd love the advice :).
I hope you enjoy!

"I can't hide it anymore. I need you. I want you. I love you," Matt smashed his lips into Lilly's, holding her waist possessively, pulling her as close to him as physically possible. Lilly, although shocked at first, began running her hands through his hair and kissed him back with just as much passion.
Lynn sighed as she watched the movie, a slight smile on her lips. She was curled up in her favorite fuzzy blue blanket. A blanket that had been a part of many memories ever since she had gotten it in the seventh grade. She had been coming home from a concert when they had stopped at a store for some snacks for the sleepover that she and her best friend were having. She spotted the blanket sitting on a shelf directly in her eyesight and claimed she just had to have it.
It had ended up being there for her through breakups, cramps, nightmares, scary movies, fights, when she was sick, etcetera, and although it was just a blanket, it meant a lot to her.
To her right sat her best friend Hazel, also wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, this one pink, who had decided she needed it the same night as Lynn declared her need for the blue one. They had been placed conveniently next to each other on the shelf, perfect for the two young girls to spot and claim.
Although both girls had been in previous relationships, none of which had turned out as planned, they had been nowhere near as magical as the one seen in the movie. So, as they watched the scene unfold, they had the same meaningful expression on their faces: they both wished they could be the girl in the movie.
Lynn sighed and rolled her eyes,"Who needs guys anyway," she uttered, "I got my best friend." She looked over at Hazel who gave her a big grin before turning back to the movie
As the fictional couple continued their make-out session, there was a sudden loud slam and scream that usually would have made the two friends curled up on the couch jump right onto the floor in front of them. However, considering that it was their twelfth time watching the movie, they didn't even flinch.
A brunette, freckled girl, named Mabel appeared on the screen with a war-like cry,"How dare you! I love him! He's M.I.N.E, mine! Not yours, you backstabbing, two-timing, bitch!"
Lilly detached herself from Matt and pounced on her ex-best friend, both girls throwing insults, comebacks, hands, feet, shoes, and... books?
Lynn shook her head in astoundment as she reached for the remote and paused the movie. "Hazel," she turned towards her friend, Hazel following suit and staring right back at Lynn, "it's time to make the pact for the twelveth time."
Hazel smirked, a knowing look flashing across her face as they both raised their right hand and recited, in unison, the oath they both knew so well, "I promise, to never, EVER, let a guy come between me and my best friend. To never let a relationship with a guy become more important than my relationship with my best friend. And, lastly, I promise that we can never let our friendship end over a stupid boy." They both lowered their hands and lost control of their serious act, laughing and reaching over to hug one another.
"Lynn! Hazel!," Lynn's mother called out from the kitchen, "the cookies are done!"
Cookies were one of the girls favorite things to eat, and make, especially the chocolate chip peanut butter ones. The chocolate made Lynn fall in love and the peanut butter gave Hazel all the satisfaction she'd need in life.
At hearing the word cookies, the two girls gave each other competitive looks, throwing themselves off the couch and fighting to be the first to the kitchen, not caring how childish they must've looked.
"Oh my god," Hazel exclaimed as she bit down on a cookie, having beat Lynn to the cookie tray, "your mom makes the best cookies ever!"
Meanwhile, outside, a figure smirked to themselves as the girls disappeared from their eyesight. They silently stood up from their hiding and began walking across the yard, their black clothing being the only caution they needed as the made away from the house. As the figure passed the decorated mailbox, they paused and pulled out a small sticky note where they added the house address next to two other things: the names Lynn and Hazel.
