I'm sitting on the beach, shaded by the tree.

I'm writing my feelings towards the ocean.

For some reason I feel poetic so I take this chance to jot down my thoughts and the. Turn them into something smooth and soulful.

Max wasn't with me today because he had to talk to his dad about something.

All of a sudden I heard a high pitched squeaky voice come from behind me.

"Hey, Sugar?" It said.

I turn around to see Lillian standing behind me.

"Ugh. If your looking for Max he isn't here." I rolled my eyes and went back to writing.

"No. I'm here to say...to say that I'm sorry." Lillian had a look of apology on her face.

I nod.

"It's just that when I saw Max, I fell for him instantly."

"Mm." I say not taking my eyes off my paper.

"Well. When I saw you two kiss, I thought that I should do everything I could to try and win, Max over."

"Lillian you were hard on, Max. I think you made what ever chance you had with Max (which was minimal) worse."
I turned to face her as I spoke.

"Look I'm sorry ok?"

"No, Lillian it's not ok. You hurt me and Max both. I don't think I can ever forgive you for that."
I go back to writing.

"Nice, Sugar. I give you a chance to actually become friends with me and you trow it away. Don't expect me to stay away from, Max anymore." With that, Lillian left and never looked back.

I don't care if Lillian goes for Max because I know that Max is devoted to me. And I am devoted to him. Like I said, her relationship with Max didn't start out so well.

But now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I should have just forgave Lillian. I mean it would have been nice to get Lillian out of my hair, and Max's for that matter.

I decide to forget about it and continue my poem on the ocean.
