Marinette rushed up to her room after she came home, her face was red and her eyes were bloodshot from crying.

Her parents respected her personal space usually, but they decided to call up stairs after her, because of how sad she was.

"Marinette? Are you alright?" Her mom asked softly and sweetly from downstairs "I'm fine." The word fine had a little bit of attitude than she intended it to have, but her parents seem didn't mind.

Tom and Sabine walked up the stairs and saw her daughter silently crying, both of their faces saddened and Tom sat down next to her. "It will be alright. Just give her time." Marinette looked up at her father. "How did you know?" Tom laughed a little. "The baker of the household knows ALL."

Marinette snorted cutely, he didn't know about her being ladybug. Sabine sat down next to her Marinette and gave her a hug, while petting her hair. Marinette smiled, and hugged her back. Tom joined in, wrapping his arms around both of them.

They sat there for about 5 minutes, but it felt like only 5 seconds had passed. Sabine stood up and soon after, Tom did as well. "You feeling better Mari?" Sabine smiled softly. "Ya, thanks mom." Marinette smiled

Marinette still had a hole in her heart, but her parents filled it up a little for her to at least crack a smile

Her parents tucked her in and Marinette felt like a child so she pouted. "Do I have to go to bed now?" She whined. Tom and Sabine giggled. "Yes, Mari." They cooed in unison. Marinette giggled a little too, as her parents closed the door and went down the stairs.

Chat watched the whole sene play out with a happy sigh, he wished his father could be as forgiving as her parents were.

"Should I still visit my beloved princess?"
