Chat Noir knocked on the balcony's door. He knocked, but the door did not open and there was no response. He knocked again, no response. He growled then went to the window and tapped on the glass "Princess?"

Marinette yelped and her eyes jolted to the window, seeing a blurred black figure. Chat laughed "Don't worry princess, it's just the one and only Chat Noir!"

Marinette rubbed her eyes, finally seeing him. "Chat....? What are you doing here at this time of night?" She looked at her clock, it was 12:00 a.m.

Chat looked down as he twiddled with his fingers. "I saw you and your friend fight.... so I just wanted to make sure you were ok?"

Marinette's eyes opened wide, she had never heard him say anything that..... sweet. She shook her head from the thought an responded "I'm fine, you don't need to check on me."

Chat crossed his arms. "That's a lie."

Marinette felt her emotions agree in her mind. She still had a huge hole in her heart, but she wasn't going to admit it. "No, I'm fine" she said.

"Me-owch! Princess, it hurts me when you lie." His face saddened

Marinette groaned. "Fine. I'm not feeling so great. Why would you care?" She asked, looking him straight in the eye

Chat was shocked at this, usually Marinette was so cheerful she could light up any dark day easily, but now.... she was acting unlike herself. Chat rolled his eyes. "Because a princess like you doesn't deserve to have their heart broken, thats why I care ."

Marinette felt a slight blush creep up her cheeks. Chat walked up to her "wanna talk about it?" All of Marinette's emotions came out as she hugged Chat, sobbing silently.

She talked about how Alya and herself were fighting about her getting up late.... and the argument became personal.

Chat let out a sad sigh as the girl continue to cry in the hug. He knew that Marinette must have been holding up her emotions for a long time.

Chat heard snores coming from the girl and he looked down on her. "She..... cried herself to sleep?" He questioned himself quietly before placing her gently in bed. He then gave her a kiss, and went out the balcony door.

"Goodnight princess."
