×Sunghoon's pov×

Jay was done, and he went to take a quick shower. It was soon night, but it seemed like none of them could sleep.

So Sunghoon got up, a really small pillow on his arms, to put it under his knee, slowly walking towards Jay's room, to see if he was asleep or not.

"Can I stay here? I can't really sleep."

"Sure, come here."

Jay moved to the other side of the bed, creating space for Sunghoon to lay there, and be comfortable with his hurt knee.

"So, are you gonna dress up.. Nicely tomorrow? Jungwon will be here."

Sunghoon asked, a smirk on his face as he covered his body with the quilt and looked at Jay.

"Oh, right, thanks for reminding me. I have to decide what I'm gonna wear."

Sunghoon giggled, and shook his head when Jay immediately got up and opened his walk-in wardrobe door.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last time we see Park Jongseong. He might take for than three hours in there."

"Shut up, just sleep, don't wait for me."

"Wouldn't wait anyway, mister 'wanna look perfect for my crush'."

Jay thankfully didn't answer, and just decided to stare at his clothes for the next forty-five minutes, before finally deciding.

"Sunghoon, are you awake?"

"Mhm."

Sunghoon just murmured, scrolling on his pinterest, searching for a new wallpaper with his one and only idol, Kim Taehyung.

"What do you think of this?"

Jay asked as he stepped in the room again, showing Sunghoon the fit he had chosen. He always asked for his opinion.

"Are you for real?! Are you gonna match these two?! How?! Oh my God, move."

He said, as he stood up, pushing Jay aside, grabbing the clothes from his hands, walking in the wardrobe.

His fashion sense is terrible only when he wants to impress Jungwon.

He soon walked out, holding some clothes, and after he handed them to Jay, he laid on the bed again, and grabbed his phone.

"Oh... Thanks!"

Jay smiled and left the clothes on the hanger on the wall behind the door, so he could wear them tomorrow.

"Hoonie."

"What again?"

"I really think you should come with me."

Jay murmured as he laid next to Sunghoon, looking at him right into his eyes.

"I said no, I'll-"

"I know."

Jay cut him off, before he could finish his sentence, and he grabbed his hand, still looking into his eyes.

"Promise me one thing."

"You're acting as if it's the very first time you're leaving, or like you're leaving for years."

"Sunghoon."

"Sorry, keep going."

"Even if you have a nightmare, you will immediately call me. Don't ever think of where I might be, with who, doing what, okay?"

Sunghoon nodded, and smiled slightly, as he left his phone next to him and closed his eyes to sleep, slowly pulling his hands back.

He wasn't sleepy at all, but he knew that if he stayed up all night and Jay knew about it, he wouldn't sleep either, just to take care of him, even if he was really sleepy.

So he would always just pretend to fall asleep just so Jay could sleep too, without having to worry.

Jay smiled, the moment Sunghoon closed his eyes. He ran his fingers through Sunghoon's hair, and sighed.

"Jay... Are you sure you like Jungwon?"

"Yes, a hundred percent sure, why?"

"Oh nothing, just asking."

Let's just hope you are not lying.

But soon, they both fell asleep, even though they weren't really sleepy, or they just thought so.

The next morning didn't take long to come, and Sunghoon woke up before Jay, getting up quietly.

Not really because he didn't want to wake Jay up, but since he didn't move his knee for a few hours, it hurt.

He went to the kitchen, and quickly made some pancakes so Jay wouldn't have to make anything.

He was super tired this whole week, taking care of him all day, making sure he wasn't in pain or that he didn't need anything.

"Why are you awake?"

Sunghoon heard Jay asking, and he turned around, seeing a tired looking Jay, with oversized pyjamas and messy hair, rubbing his puffy eyes.

"Good morning. How did you sleep?"

"Pretty good actually. What are you making?"

"Ricotta Pancakes, mister chef. Just go sit on the couch."

Jay wasn't used to that, it was like Sunghoon was joking. He just stood there, looking at him, not believing it at first.

"For real? Are you feeling well? Who drugged you?"

"No one, just go sit there."

The elder raised his eyebrow and hesitantly left the kitchen, still in doubt, as if Sunghoon would poison him.

"Jay, strawberries or blueberries?"

"Uh.. Which one is not poisoned?"

"Jay."

"Strawberries."

A happy 'yay' left Sunghoon's mouth, and he took the strawberries out of the fridge, decorating the pancakes beautifully.

He stretched his back proudly, not taking his eyes off the pancakes, smiling proudly.

He grabbed the plates and two forks, and went over to the living room, handing Jay his plate.

"Try it."

"Oh, you weren't joking."

Jay said, surprised, as he held the plate tightly so it wouldn't fall off his hands accidentally.

He just took a bite, and immediately raised his head, looking at Sunghoon who was standing in front of him.

"Who taught you this recipe?!"

"Oh, no one. I just did whatever came to my mind first. I didn't know what I was putting in, but I remember it all."

"It's just a random recipe from your head?! How's that possible, this tastes so good! Or maybe it's the poison that makes it taste good."

"Oh yeah, you got it, Sherlock."

Sunghoon was so happy that he could finally make something to repay Jay for all the things he's done for him.

He just wanted to give him a free day, a day to rest, and he just hoped he was good enough to do that.

It wasn't everyday that he could give his best friend a small break to rest and enjoy his life.

So as time passed, Sunghoon cleaned up, made lunch, and even took care of his knee by himself, the last one without Jay knowing, until it was finally evening, and Jay went to change.

"Are they here yet?"

"Calm down, they will be here soon. Oh, is that Jungwon's motorcycle?"

"Where?!"

Jay jumped off the bed and ran to the window, checking for Jungwon's motorcycle. It real was his.

"That's him! I'll open the door."

Of course. Sunghoon wasn't expecting anything less from Jay. Always on the door before even Jungwon arrived.

He soon opened the door, and Sunghoon turned around, seeing Jungwon standing right outside the door, with a big smile on his face.

"Wonie!"

He shouted as he hugged him tightly, wrapping his hands around his waist, lifting him up, slowly spinning him around.

Jungwon's giggles were so cute, as well as their interactions, it would always made Sunghoon laugh.

These two acted so cute with each other whenever they were together, so when Jay was way too down, Sunghoon would always call Jungwon over.

"Hi hyung!"

Jungwon said once Jay put him down again, and the elder smiled so bright, Sunghoon thought his lips would tear apart.

He then walked over to Sunghoon, and hugged him tightly, looking down at the elder's knee.

"Still hurts?"

"Not as much as before."
