017, happy ever after
thirteen years later...
"SLOW DOWN!" Xana shouted towards her son as she attempted to block out the exit of the mauri. The young boy giggled crawling under hers legs as Aonung unexpectedly appeared in front of him, grabbing his shoulder to stop him from moving.
"Why aren't you listening to your mother, Neteyam?" Aonung tutted. Neteyam sighed, looking away.
"I don't want to go." Xana rolled her eyes, kissing her teeth at her son. "It's your cousin's birthday, your going." Neteyam sighed, dramatically walking back into the mauri.
"He got his dramatics from you." Aonung chuckled lightly, shaking his head as he grabbed Xana's face, peppering it in kisses making her laugh.
"Maybe so." Aonung responded before kissing Xana's pregnant stomach — which was decorated with different white and gold patterns . "Come along, kid." Aonung beckoned Neteyam to hurry up as the boy returned with his head piece now on.

As they made their way towards the far end of the beach — where the ceremony was happening — everyone nodded their heads in respect towards the family.
Xana would be lying if she said she would ever get use to it. She had never been so respected. But after all, it was expected, seeing as her and Aonung were Tsahìk and Olo'eyktan.
"Xan!" Tsireya shouted with a smile as Aonung, Xana and Neteyam came closer towards the dancing crowd. "Sorry we're late." Xana apologised as Neteyam ran away to go play with his cousins.
"One moment." Tsireya mumbled towards Aonung and Xana as she hurried over to tend to Ronal and Tonowari, who had also just arrived.
Aonung threw his arm over Xana's shoulder as she spoke. "Neteyam would have loved this." Aonung stroked Xana's arm soothingly.
Aonung knew his mate had never fully gotten over her brothers death, but she learned to live and come to terms with it.
"He is loving it. He's always with you, Xan." Aonung reassured as she smiled, her eyes scanning over everyone as she thought about how far they had all come in life.
Lo'ak had also came to peace with his older brothers death and was now blessed with a mate — Tsireya — and two beautiful twin girls named Az'hali and Rowia.
Kiri was alone and happy. After Spider's death, she was down for a while. But as she discovered more of her powers and her connection with the ocean and Eywa, her happiness returned. She had no intention to find love or to have kids, she was just sort of the cool aunt.
Tuk was now all grown up. She had passed being a teenager and was now blossoming into a strong woman. She was much like Neteyam, both looks and mentality wise. She was wise for her age. Currently, she was showing no interest for finding love or a mate. Tuk had plans to return back to the forest permanently.
The Sully's — plus Aonung and Tsireya — had returned to the forest a few times. It was still exactly how Xana remembered.
Tarsem had also found a mate. Xana grew up with the woman he had chosen and she would be lying if she said she didn't have a small crush on the girl growing up. 'She' was called Vare'li. Vare'li was a year or two older than Xana. She was breath taking — but that was expected, seeing as she was the daughter of Ninat.
Ha'zelia — Ronal and Tonowari's youngest daughter — was now 13. She was gorgeous, just like Tsireya and Aonung. Ha'zelia was like a miniature version of Aonung. If it wasn't enough that she looked exactly like him, shr also acted like him.
Ronal, Tonowari, Neytiri and Jake were your typical middle aged parents — just with a twist. They was the life of the party. Jake had taught the trio many of his party tricks from earth and they seemed to love it.
Xana still sometimes thought of Spider, but it didn't keep her awake at night. She simply thought of him as a bump in her growth. Though someone she often thought about, was Neteyam.
Her eldest brother. Her knight in shining armour. He was everything to Xana. The only thing that ever really helped her come to terms with his death was that she knew he was always with her.
Eywa knew that she wouldn't get over his death on her own and that's why she sent Aonung. He was the person who stayed.
Xana was happy with life. She had peace, and that was all that mattered.
