004,  civil

"XANA, AONUNG took Lo'ak outside of the reef." Neteyam told Xana as his ilu halted beside hers. He would confront Aonung himself, but he knew his sister would be able to handle the situation better than him. Or so he thought.

Xana's eyes widened, anger fuelling her body. She sped off from her older brother, searching for Aonung. After a few minutes she found him stood with his friends laughing. "Aonung!" Xana shouted, pulling herself off her ilu as she walked in his direction.

"Oh, look who it-" He began,  but didn't finish his sentence as Xana punched him in the nose.

"What on earth is wrong with you?! I get you don't like me and my family but leaving my twin brother for dead is too far. Your a disgusting person. All of you are." Xana snarled, as Aonung's face dropped slightly. She wasn't wrong, he was a disgusting person. But it hurt coming from her mouth.

"You, your going to come with me and tell my father what you've done." Xana pointed at Aonung who followed after the girl."Xana im sorry, I thought he would be able to find his way back." Aonung grabbed the girls hand to stop her. She turned to look at him, anger clear in her expression.

"He doesn't know the water like you and your minions do, how stupid are you to believe he would be able to find his way back. If my brother is dead, I will kill you." She darkly spoke, hatred pouring from her eyes.

Xana turned around, walking towards her marui. Aonung followed after the girl, guilt engulfing him. "Tell him what you told me." Xana spoke through gritted teeth as the pair halted by Jake and Kiri, who were dangling there feat in the water.

"I took Lo'ak outside the reef and left him there. He has not returned." Jake's expression dropped. "You two go." Jake seethed towards Kiri and Xana, the pair scrambling away. If their was one thing they didn't want to see, was their father when he was angry.

"Xana!" A familiar voice shouted in the girls direction, a groan of annoyance leaving her mouth as she continued walking. "Xana." Aonung jogged up to the girls side, slowing his pace as they was now walking in line.

"What do you want?" She grumbled, feeling his eyes burning into the side of her face. He grabbed her hand, turning her to face him. Xana looked up at him, seeing nothing but guilt in his expression.
She couldn't help herself when a small unnoticeable smirk formed on her face at his bruised nose.

"I am truly sorry Xana. I was mad that he beat me in the fight and I saw the opportunity to get revenge and I took it. I thought he would be able to find his way back." Aonung attempted to apologise again as Xana broke the eye contact, averting her eyes to the sunset.

"It is not me you need to be apologising to. If my brother returns, he is the person you need say your sorry to." Xana shook his hand off of hers as she continued walking away.

"How did it go?" Rotxo questioned his bestfriends as he appeared beside Aonung, the pair both watching Xana walking away. "Better than I thought it would." Aonung responded.

"Xana! Xana!" Tuk shouted at her older sister who was practicing her aim with her bow and arrow. "Yes Tuk?" Xana responded, looking down at the girl. "Lo'ak is back." Xana's eyes widened as the pair ran out of their mauri and towards the crowd.

"Lo'ak!" Xana spotted her twin brother as she ran into his arms almost making him fall over. Lo'ak wrapped his arms around his twin, the pair sharing the same excitment. The twins were never really away from each other for more than a few hours.
Xana pulled away from the hug, examining his face and boy for any new cuts.

"I am okay, little sister." Lo'ak reassured the girl as she rolled her eyes.

"We were born on the same day, skxawng." Xana grumbled as the boy lightly laughed, opening his mouth to argue back. "Don't even try it." Xana pushed her brothers head foward, silently telling him to walk on.

Xana began walking towards her older sister, a smile present on her face at the return of her brother. But it soon faded as she noticed Aonung appear beside her out of her peripheral vision.

"So?" Aonung grinned, the girl rolling her eyes as she remembered what he was referring to."Have you apologised to my brother?" She questioned, looking towards the boy.

"It was the first thing I did when he returned." Xana looked away from Aonung, staying quiet for a few seconds before stopping. Aonung stopped slightly infront of Xana, staring at the girl.

"We can be civil. Not friends, just civil." Xana proposed as a smile formed on Aonung's face.

"Okay."

"How's your nose?" Xana questioned the boy, a smirk forming on her face. Aonung rolled his eyes at the girl, laughing lightly.
