I actually really enjoyed Gem Hunt. Jake won, which now doesn't surprise me. Somewhere in the third round, Amy had woken up, and I realized we were playing all night. It was about seven in the morning. The bobcat hopped off of her bed and looked at the table. Amy changed to her human form, which at the time was weird to look at. It was like a black veil had pulled around her, and in the cat's place sat a blonde girl with green eyes. She wore a dark blue tank top, jean shorts, and tennis shoes. Her hair was pulled into a braid, and a bandage was wrapped around her left calf. "New cabin mate?" She questioned, standing up. Jake averted his eyes, while Ruth smiled. "Yup! Meet Rose, newest emerald cabin hybrid. Just arrived last night." Amy smiled and shook my hand. "I'm Amy, bobcat hybrid." She said. She looked over at Jake and Rose. "I'm guessing you didn't tell her your animal types?" The two paled. "No, we forgot.. I'm a coyote hybrid!" Ruth said happily. "And I'm a silver fox hybrid." Jake said, putting the cards away. Before I could say anything else, one of the sleeping figures fell out of his bed. He groaned and sat up. "You okay?" Amy said, holding back a laugh. "Shut up." The boy said, standing. He had red hair, green eyes like the others, a white t shirt, and black sweatpants. He picked up a dagger from the ground and put it under his pillow, where I assume it fell from. He started to leave, when Ruth flung a rubber band at the back of his head. The guy quickly spun around and flung it back, which didn't work out too well for him because Ruth dodged it. "Matt, you need to say hello to our newest cabin mate! Rose, this is Matt. Matt, this is Rose." Matt looked at me and smiled. "Hey, nice to meet ya! I'm Matt, a grey wolf hybrid. Since you just arrived, it would only be common knowledge to introduce her to the Alpha." I believed what Nick was saying last night, considering I saw a bobcat turn into a girl, but this? This was going to take some getting used to.
