The dark velvety sky was fading away slowly as an emerging soft and luminescent as molten gold morning emerged with the sun slowly rising - taking away with it every inch of darkness. Dispelling each and every gloomy vibe with it...new day and a new beginning , as with each sunrise comes a new chance ..a new fresh wave of enthusiasm .

Yes this was exactly what Dev felt at the time when he saw the sun emerge standing near the window of his bedroom as he took in the cool breeze of early December.With a smile on his lips and his eyes closed as if he was trying to soak in the moment,live it completely with his every passing breath,as his heartbeat was today passing at an uneven pace.

As he opened his eyes and his smile grew wider with the early morning sun lighting up his room with its presence - Dev felt a fresh surge of energy, enthusiasm and happiness.

Life can be so weird at times - some dreams are so beautiful you just don't ever wanna wake up - for the thought of ruining them - the fear - they'd end will perish what we had - doesn't make you wanna leave your bed... and some dreams are so huge, so important and so incredible - that to realize 'em - you simply cannot somehow sleep through the night - as had happened with him... the dream to bring the trophy home - had made him stay awake all night - and yet - he wasn't the slightest tired - rather - he was as fresh as a daisy with his enthusiasm keeping him in high spirits.

"Dev get up beta..you remember what is today!?" said a gentle voice from the temple of his house.

"Ofcourse Maa..I remember that. Today,Pia is coming back after graduation and I need to pick her up from the airport" replied Dev while rubbing his hazel eyes as he was too tired after a surgery at hospital.

"Great! Then go and get ready Dev..she won't like it if you are late" replied Vidya,Dev's mother while packing his lunch.

"Ohkayyy maa" Dev makes small frown upon it as he realises his schedule is too busy.

Dev stood at the airport, anxiously waiting for his sister Pia to arrive. As a doctor, he was used to dealing with emergencies and difficult situations, but nothing could prepare him for what he was about to witness.

Finally, amidst the crowd, Dev spotted Pia walking towards him. He couldn't help but notice the unfamiliar guy walking beside her, holding her hand. Concern and confusion filled his mind, but he knew he had to approach the situation calmly.

"Hey Pia!" Dev called out, trying to hide his unease. "I didn't expect you to bring someone with you. Who's this?"

Pia smiled nervously and introduced the stranger. "Bhai, this is Karan. We met a few months ago and we've been seeing each other since then. I hope you don't mind."

Dev's mind raced with a mixture of emotions. He wanted to protect his sister, but he also didn't want to alienate her. Taking a deep breath, he responded, "Pia, I'm glad you've found someone who makes you happy. But I need to know more about Karan. Can we talk for a moment?".

Karan looked a bit uncomfortable, but he nodded. The three of them found a quiet corner in the airport where they could have a private conversation. Dev took a moment to gather his thoughts before speaking.

"Karan, I appreciate you coming into Pia's life and making her happy," Dev began, his tone firm but not aggressive. "But as her brother and a doctor, I have a responsibility to ensure her safety and well-being. So, I'd like to get to know you better and understand your intentions towards my sister."

Karan nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I completely understand, bhaiya. Pia means the world to me, and I would never do anything to hurt her. I'm a software engineer, and I come from a good family background. I promise to respect and cherish Pia, just as you do."

Dev sensed the sincerity in Karan's voice and decided to give him a chance. "Alright, Karan. But I hope you understand that my concern for Pia's well-being is not just about her past, but also her future. She has dreams and aspirations, and I want to make sure you support her in achieving them."

Karan nodded, appreciating Dev's concern. "I understand, bhaiya, Pia's dreams and goals. I too have an elder sister and she is my only family ".

"Oh okay Karan,don't worry we will have a great time in the evening when you will meet our maa. So,see you in the evening Mr.Mehta" replied Dev while taking Pia to their mansion.

"I hope Bhai approves of our relationship " says Pia to herself in a softest tone possible.
