Last night I wrote a song for Johnny that I was going to sing and play for him at the hospital today. I didn't care what anyone thought about me or the song or anything. They said I had to find ways to help try to get him to wake up. I figured this was worth a try and I wanted to show him my feelings. As I checked into the hospital I carried my guitar in its case. Lily,Ponyboy,Dallas and Soda followed Emily into Johnny's room. I sat on a stool and pulled out her guitar and placing the case on the ground next to me. I grabbed my songbook and set it besides me. I strummed my guitar to check it. Then, as everyone looked at me except for Johnny obviously I began to sing and play...

I began to tear up at this part and stare at poor Johnny. Everything seemed different. Everyone else in the room was watching her sing and play her guitar.

Johnny truly opened up my eyes and my heart. By the end of the song everyone clapped and Dallas hugged me. " That was beautiful,Em." said Lily and then I thanked her and we both hugged each other.
