Prae is surprised to see Arthit unable to concentrate in the meeting. Thankfully, the man can keep up a facade well and prae makes it a point to record everything during meeting , so that key points can be addressed later. Her boss is so lost that he orders iced coffee instead of his regular milk tea and drinks it with a faraway look on his face.

" How many more meetings to attend today?

Arthit who never askes this question ever .. asks it today confirming praes doubt there is trouble in paradise..

" are you feeling alright ..?" They are just done with their second meeting and one more to go. They have caught the early morning flight to Japan, the investors called upon emergency meetings which went on and on..and now hopefully they can have their lunch, after their whirlwind morning session ..

" Not really, I am having a headache ..Prae.. ( it's basically body ache esp a specific body part) , I think I will go back finishing this.. to Thailand... before going to china..Do you think you can arrange that..?"

" Sir, that's not really possible , tomorrow we have the final talk with the CEO regarding the acquisition of the new plant here which is around 150kms away..you need to visit the site and then immediately we are leaving for China the next day..I can arrange for you to leave after the china trip and can cancel the Malaysia visit for this month postponing it to next month..will that be ok.." prae kind of understands his dilema..for the first time Arthit rojanapat looks vulnerable and soft..

Its not ok for Arthit but he cannot do away with his duties..not only he is the best negotiator for the deals in his company, he can speak Japanese and Chinese fluently .,.putting everything in an advantageous position for his company and this solar energy project which is very close to his heart.

Kong must not think he is escaping through work , he accepts he had planned to do exactly that..but these trips were a necessary emergency..and not part of any plan. Sadly, they have separated at a point when his long term status quo nong suddenly blurted out that he had always seen a lifetime with him..and was always ready for commitment.

Basically, he understood it now clearly that , Kong was just playing along with him for all these years keeping his own feelings aside just not to freak him out . He can't help but feel regret for Kong, has he always made him suffer through all this time, never giving him true happiness by not opening up himself..

Arthit understands that they need to speak soon because after the initial anger at betrayal and then guilt ..what he has felt after is some unknown somersaults inside his heart..a happy giddy feeling. He just cannot believe he has failed to understand or blocked himself to realise that he always misses and cares about that certain someone so much.

He himself doesn't know when he has started thinking their future together in everything he does from a long time ago.. the new house , the job promotion everything that has happened or he is planning next in his life has Kong as the integral part of it.. so what is it that keeping him away to say the words of commitment other than his own insecurities..

He, infact got up in the middle of the night, again in pain due to that certain someone's excessive love making but seeing him sleeping snuggling close to him,all innocent ..his exposed skin inviting him ..Arthit had given into the temptation and marked him his..

..when he had bitten and sucked the exposed neck and collar bone..Kong,deep in sleep have only mumbled something gibberish and went back to sleep... Arthit had taken his medicine and promptly have snuggled upto him to slip into deep slumber .. feeling much better..pouting kongpob is his another weakness too..

Morning again, negative thoughts have invaded his mind clouding his good mood..he regrets that now..he had not failed to see the hurt in Kong's eyes as he had withdrawn again into his shell of self preservation..

Arthit gives a call to Kong from the washroom, he can't bear not speaking to him anymore after the jumble mumble yesterday night and esp today morning..but Tew picks up instead informing him kong is  with the board of directors..He just could say he will call him back hearing the surprise tone from Tew, embarrassed and red in face he leaves the phone..he hardly calls Kong from abroad during day time because both are busy in their own work..he definitely does at night when they both are alone,you know for what..

He goes back to his own meeting, missing Kong's call back within an hour and also all the later calls of the younger one..the meeting gets over only by late evening and is decided by all present that they will visit the nearby site today rather than tomorrow . The factory is meant for assembling of major parts so the successful site visit will entitle the final negotiations to be completed soon. Arthit doesn't mind, though he will be super tired , he can go back to Kong at least two days early ..

He doesn't get anytime to call back Kong ...moreover the signal also plays the villain when he does get time in between talks.. Prae insists him to eat something before going to the site, he hardly had lunch. They board the car to go to the site with three more seniors of the visiting company in another car..through the whole ride they both are busy going through the key points of the morning meeting in which he had zoned out..thanks to his dear nong..

This site is around 150kms off Tokyo and a little hilly taking them more than 3 hrs to reach.. when everything is finished, Arthit expectedly is dead tired to even move ..prae is equally sleepy..they both get in the car and promptly goes off to sleep..their car now following others in another car at a distance ,more slowly , as the driver notices the two tired sleeping foreigners in the backseat and don't want to jostle them up in the twists and turns of the hilly road..

But sudden jolt wakes both Arthit and prae up in time to notice the road shaking and giant rocks coming down from the side of the hill..

They immediately realise what they are facing.. an Earthquake triggering a Landslide!!!!

The car in front of them takes the first hit and just crumbles like a cookie as a giant Boulder crashes it and pushes the car towards road side trees like a matchstick caught by a giant wave ... they are a little further away so they escape the initial assault..their driver tries to swerve left and right to escape the oncoming pebbles and rocks falling down..but their luck soon runs out as the road gets blocked by another giant rock as another big rock hits the car from the driver's side which rotates full 180 and comes to a stand still getting slowly buried under the pouring debris..(sorry 🙏)

Kong is calling Arthit again and again after his own meeting ... It's coming unreachable for last hour or so.. He can't believe he has been such an idiot and crying over nothing. He was so depressed in the morning that he didn't even look at himself in the mirror while dressing up, after Arthit left..

He had wanted to talk to Arthit so badly but he had a very important deal to finalize today. So when afternoon lunch time came and Tew informed him that Arthit had given him a call just an hour back he felt more scared than elated. why did he call in the morning, he never does that..?? But why is Tew giving him such dirty looks now and even was secretly smiling at him in the meeting??

" I know now why you are mopping around today Ai kong..your p Arthit has gone abroad ..he can't get enough of you huh, he is missing you already for a change !! But Why didn't you wear a high collar shirt Ai Kong..how many years more do I have to look at you getting all hickey covered by your now fiance..!!" Tew is overdramatic when he is teasing him..

" Hickey covered!!" He ran to the washroom..yes he is marked ..marked by his fiance..Arthit had given into his whim again.. such actions of his idiot makes it impossible to even think of walking away.. kong feels elated .. Arthit loves him.. kong knows for sure ..and he will say it soon.. he has to..

He has called Arthit then, and again after his project design final seminar..again now from 7 pm onwards, after office hours , he is calling Arthit every 10 minutes just for hearing his voice once..he even tries praes number again.." why are the numbers not getting connected? They should have been back to hotel by now.. they had such a long day.. Where are they?"

Thousands of miles away , someone whispers Kong's name like a prayer, his throat feels dry and he tries to stretch his hand to wake up prae who is unconscious beside him ..Massive pain shoots up as he tries to move...he can feel flowing stickiness
and grime..and then nothing..
