Thomas' POV

This century is...interesting to say the least. Tord has shown me new technology like computers and tv and cellphones. His parents are letting me stay here until I feel ready to leave so basically until that witch comes. Tord seems really interested in my magic and it makes me think back to my family being killed for being witches.

Anyway, Tord says we're meeting up with the other two people that were there when I was freed, Matt and Edd. He says Edd "texted" him saying that Matt had calmed down and they wanted to meet me. It's not like I have anything better to do. I'm stuck with my "soulmate" until she comes.

"You ready Thomas?" He asked gaining my attention away from the music box.

"Uhh yea." I stood up and started following him out of the house. He yelled to his parents saying we would be back later and we started walking back to where I was stuck in stone for almost 500 years.

After we got there the one in green, Edd, tackled Tord in a hug and started asking a bunch of questions I couldn't keep up with. The purple one, Matt, seemed to be examining me. "What's your name again?" He asked.

"Thomas."

"You're the boy that was stone? So the thing is real and Todd is your soulmate"

"I don't believe in soulmates but that's basically what happened."

"How'd you turn to stone?"

"Siblings issues. Not that serious. I'll be gone in a week or so."

"How did sibling issues turn you to stone?" I sighed knowing there was no way I can explain this without proving it.

"Hey Thomas! What's it like meeting your soulmate?" Edd asked after Tord calmed him down.

"I don't believe in soulmates so not that interesting? I think she just picked a rando  from the future."

"She? She who?" He asked. I groaned.

"My sister. She turned me to stone with magic because of some evil thing and I'm gonna be gone once she comes." They looked at me weirdly and I started walking off.

"Tom!" I heard Tord yell. I looked back at the name I haven't heard in so long. "You know you can stay here, right? I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind."

"My sister will be back eventually and when she comes back I'll decide if I take off or stay with you guys but for now I have no choice but to stay with you."

We spent the rest of the day hanging out. I showed Edd and Matt some magic and they showed me more things from this time. Edd and Matt are cool.
