3- Thomas learns about things

We quickly went to my house and I got Thomas into the house with no problem, mostly because my dads weren't home right now. I led him to my room and let him roam around while I looked for some clothes.

"What's this?" I looked to see him examining my computer.

"Computer. It let's me look through the internet and..." I trailed off not really knowing how to explain.

"Internet?" He looked over to me with a questioning face.

"I'll show you in a minute but first you gotta change." I pulled out a blue hoodie I never wore and some black jeans. He looked about my size, maybe a bit taller. I passed them to him and pointed down the hall. "Bathroom is just down the hall." He nodded and made his way out of my room.

He came back while I was texting Matt and Edd about what was happening. Do I even know what's happening? Tom sat down on my bed and observed my room. We sat there for a bit in silence before I spoke up. "So Thomas, what exactly is happening?"

"You broke me free so I guess you're my soulmate. I didn't think soulmates were real but I guess since you broke me free...anyway, I'm not really sure what to do. I didn't plan what to do in case this stuff was actually real so I guess we just wait for her to show up."

"Who is her?" I asked. He groaned and leaned against the wall.

"My sister. She was the one that put that stupid curse on me. She'll show up in a few days, see my soulmate or whatever found me, and hopefully leave. Then I guess we can go our separate ways if you want. I don't really know about this time but I can probably make a cabin in the woods or something."

"How did she put a curse on you?"

"Magic" he said that like it was nothing.

"Magic isn't real"

"Then how'd I get trapped in stone for nearly 500 years? How'd I get free after you held my hand? How come I can do this?" He waved his hands around a bit before blue mist showed up and all the light in my room went out, the curtains and door closed so we were in complete darkness. A blue orb like thing appeared and lit up the room. It started expanding and suddenly scattered into different orbs. I started noticing they were organized in a few star constellations.

"Woah"  Suddenly they all disappeared and the curtains opened letting in some light. "You did that?"

"No the muffin man did." He sighed.

"You just destroyed my whole brain and I havent even known you for an hour."

"If your brain is destroyed then how are you talking and breathing?" He tilted his head a bit.

"Just an expression. You remind me of Baymax from Big Hero 6." He had a questioning look on his face. "Sorry, you don't know what that is."

"I have an idea. You show me some stuff about this time and I'll show you the magic I can do." He suggested.

"Deal."

We spent a few hours watching different movies after explained what the tv was to Thomas. After every movie he showed me another trick he could do with his magic. Who knew magic could be so...magical.

"This movie is called Ratatouille. It's about a rat and a human in France. The rat wants to cook and stop eating trash but his dad won't let him. The human gets a job in a restaurant kitchen but can't cook for the life of him so he teams up with the rat."

"How does that make any sense? Animals can't cook." He asked.

"Tord! We're home!" My dad yelled from downstairs.

"We'll continue this later. Right now, I have to explain to my fathers why you're here." I started to move to the door but he stopped me.

"Don't tell then about how I got here. Please. I don't need people questioning how I got here from 500 years in the past." I looked into his dark blue eyes and sighed.

"Fine I'll come up with an excuse. Come one, you gotta meet them if you wanna stay here."

We walked downstairs to see my dad in the kitchen putting away groceries while my father was writing something down. I cleared my throat to get their attention. "Who's that?" father asked, right to the point as always.

"This is Thomas...Edd's cousin. Edd doesn't have anywhere for him to stay and Matt said his parents wouldn't let him stay at his house so I was wondering if he could stay with us for a bit." They seemed to have a silent conversation before dad spoke up.

"It's fine. Just don't go into our office" Thomas nodded and my dads got back to what they were doing. Well that went easier than expected.
