Six glowing eyes appeared in the darkness...
They kept changing colour, red, blue, green, purple, white and red again.

'Who are you?!', you wanted to scream, but not a single word left your mouth.
What had happened to you?

A terrifying cackle filled the silent room and another cold feeling crawled down your spine.

In the dimm light of the static you we're able to see the shadow of a the creature, it was tall, very tall.
The creature leaned against the TV, it's teeth reflecting the dimm light, it had a terrible grin on it's face.

It did something to the TV and a video started playing:

A grey, cat-like robot was shown in the video.
It was nervously fideling around with the camera trying to adjust the position and the focus.
Mumbling something like 'come on'
After a few seconds she stopped and took a few steps backwards.
She tilted her head, like curious animals do and the camera finally focused on her.

The crack was now covering her stomach, splitting the whole robot in half.

The cat stood in some kind of basement, she stood still, hands folded behind her back and smiling in a nervous way.

Her fur was torn at her right shoulder, her right eye and the inside of her left leg.
Her left eye had a bright green colour, he right eye, however, was grey and had a pupil in form of an X.
She wore a purple bow tie and cap.
The word safety was written on the cap.

'My name is Melody Midnight, I am a robot.
I was built to provide safety for those who need it.

As you can see I'm not the newest model anymore'

She laughed, still wearing that nervous expression on her face.

'But, although I'm not in buisness anymore, I will try to help one last time.
Me and some others will provide as much information as possible.'

She paused as if thinking about what she had just said.

'This is the first tape, a series of tapes exists, provided by us, the robots of Alkatar Foundation, to fulfill our purpose one last time...'

She paused and smiled in a sad way.

'We have reached a dangerous time, the 'long night', which is how you humans call it, will last longer than ever and a terrible virus is spreading.
T-'

The tape glitched for about twenty seconds, not a single word of what she spoke was understandable.

'That's why the electricity won't work for the time that the darkness continues.'

Her ears turned back and her expression turned from fear to blank horror, a loud bang and a scream filled the silence of the basement and the entire house...

'T-this is all for now, I had less time than expected...
If anyome sees this then-'

The tape glitched for a few seconds

'You have to find the other tapes!
The tapes are the key!
I'm sorry...
Stay safe...'

Again she smiled at the camera in a sad way, a tear forming in the corner of her eye.

'Game over...'

The camera blacked out, the only thing left was the audio.

Another loud bang filled the air, then quick footsteps, screams and choking noises and then...silence.

The static returned.

'Wh-what was that??', you thought to yourself.

Wait, didn't that cat mention the Alkatar Foundation?
...The Alkatar foundation was known to produce robot-guards, but it had to close before being able to perfect their creations...
But that cat seemed like it was able to think and speak on it's own, isn't that perfect enough?

The first prototype they had ever realeased...that...that was that cat on the tape!
They had called it Melody the safetycat, it was programmed and designed to protect children!

...But that didn't explain anything...what meaning did that tape have?
Why was that creature showing this to you?
And where were you?

'What do you want from me?!', you tried screaming.

And, although it only was a whisper-scream, you managed to speak.

The creature just laughed at your worthless effort, it didn't seem like you'd get any answers any time soon.

The creature turned around and left the room.
As soon as had heard the door close and the click of the lock you fell to the floor, breathing rapidly.

You felt like it had been ages since you'd been able to actually breathe.

The air was humid and reekt, but for now you were happy with what you had.

You were laying on the dirty floor for a couple of minutes just focusing on your breathing, trying to calm yourself.
You started laughing frantically.

This wasn't real!
It couldn't be...it...it just couldn't be real...

You bit yourself.

'Wake up!', you mumbled, still biting yourself.

'Wake up!', you said a little louder, biting down a little harder.

...you didn't wake up...

'WAKE UP!', you screamed, biting down on your arm as hard as you could.

...nothing happened...

Tears roll down your cheaks and you start sobbing while drops of blood leaked out of the bitemark.

What kind of twisted world was this?

The last thing you remember is you being together with your friends, but everything what happened after that is gone...

But just laying on that floor wouldn't do no difference.
You got up, feeling completely emberassed of what you had just done and searched for some kind of torch.

You found one on the table with the TV, did the creature put it there?

After you had turned the torch on you took a few steps backwards.

You were in a dusty old basement, dead rats were laying in the corners and on the old shelves.
An old couch was located behind you, that was where you had woken up.

You felt dizzy again and started shivering, you felt like a pair of beaming eyes were staring at you through the static.
Angry, but somehow Sad and terrified eyes.
As if they were crying for help, screaming and begging for someone to help them, you felt like a thousand eyes were watching your every move...
Watching you and making sure you wouldn't hurt those terriefied eyes.

'A Hallucination...', you mumbled, trying to calm yourself down, 'just a Hallucination...
They aren't real...
Noone but you is down here'

The eyes faded and you let out a loud sigh of relief.
'Why did that just happen?
...The static must've caused the hallucination', you mumbled.

'Wait! I can talk normal again!', you laughed.

'But now back to this...'

You walked to the TV and took a look at it, you were quite suprised about what you saw.

'The back is completly broken!
...so the electricity is out, the TV is torn, but it still works?
How does that make sense?!'

But before you could think about it any father the creature entered the room again and you collapsed...

(Oh my f*cking God the creature has six eyes XD
I had to say it before others say it)
