Some short Ohio x Indiana angst.

Did I get smacked with motivation at 4am yes.

TW: Alcohol, addiction, vomit.

"I'm sorry." Ohio said, hanging his head down in defeat.

Indiana looked at Ohio, staring at the state. 

"Why would you do this?" Indiana asked, his voice laden with sadness.

Ohio didn't know how to respond, he just got up to grab some pills to hopefully help with hangover. When he came back in the room, Indiana was still there. He sighed before sitting down next to his boyfriend. 

"You said you'd stop, you never do though." Indiana said bluntly, staring into Ohio's eyes.

All Ohio did was nod, he wanted to stop, but it felt like he was handcuffed to the endless bottles of cheap wine. He would drink almost every night, he knew it worried Indiana, and Alabama, but he didn't know how to stop. Ohio knew Indiana was right, he just didn't want to acknowledge it.

Indiana continued to look at the other state, waiting for a response. Ohio still didn't know what to say. He got up and rushed to the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet. Indiana followed him, looking down at the hungover state. 

"Are you ok?" Indiana asked, crouching down to be his boyfriends level.

Ohio shook his head before throwing up again, the nausea getting worse. I really need to stop. He thought. He knew he wasn't going to, he's tried to quit many times, but they never worked. Indiana wrapped comforting arms around him, he felt happy in the warm embrace. Indiana stroked his back slightly, trying to comfort him. Ohio didn't need to be comforted though, Indiana did. He was more sad about hurting his boyfriend, not himself.

"I don't think you're going to stop." Indiana said.

"At least, not any time soon." He continued, eyes filled with sadness.

"I know." Ohio said, his eyes peering down into the dirty water.

He couldn't bring himself to look at his boyfriend. He could feel Indiana's arms wrap around him tighter. He smiled, sadly, not knowing what to do. Indiana sighed before letting go, still looking at Ohio.

"You really need to quit." Indiana said bluntly.

Ohio knew Indiana was right, he just couldn't quit though.
