Massachusetts chilled on his bed for a bit. He wanted to be away from the others for awhile. He closed his window because of the cold air. He laid back on his bed. He continued watching some gaming channel, before falling asleep accidentally. He slept for a couple before waking up. He got up, fixed his hair and clothes a bit and headed downstairs.

Florida sat at the kitchen counter, loudly talking to Louisiana. Gov was beside them, annoyed. He looked like he wanted to die. Mass couldn't exactly hear the two's conversation, and he took that as a good thing. He walked to the fridge, opening it. He eyed the contents before deciding that nothing looked good. He opened the cabinet instead, grabbing a bag of chips.

He headed to an armchair to relax some more. He could see California watching a crime show. He decided to watch the show with him. He could still hear Florida's conversation. His voice made his heart flutter, although he would never admit it. Him smiling made Mass smile, he loved seeing Florida happy. His personality, although extremely annoying, brought joy to his heart. He loved the state. He decided to ignore the show Cali was watching, watch Florida instead.

He could see Florida glancing at him every once in awhile. He thought nothing of it and continued watching. Florida kept occasionally glancing at him. Ok maybe I'm being annoying. Maybe he thinks I'm weird. Mass worried, he didn't want to seem weird around his crush. He decided to go back to eating his chips and watching the TV. 

Florida noticed that Massachusetts had stopped watching him. He continued looking at him to make sure he didn't look back at him. After a couple minutes he got up. He walked toward Mass careful not to make a sound. 

"HUG ATTACK!" He shouted, before tackling Mass onto the ground.

Mass didn't have time to react before being enveloped in hug from Florida. His chips had spilled all over the place, he didn't care though. Florida had rapped himself around Mass, causing him to blush. He was just happy his face was hiding, he didn't want the others to see him. California watched the two before getting up, seemingly not wanting to deal with Florida.

Florida tried turning Massachusetts over, he protested, but Florida was to strong. Mass tried to stop blushing but it was no use. Florida's eyes widened, before his face relaxed, smiling.

"You're cute." Florida commented.

Massachusetts tried to respond but just ended up blushing more. He tried to hide his face but Florida turned it back to face him. Florida eyed the other states lips before closing the gap.

Mass' eyes widened in surprise, but he kissed back. The kiss was surprisingly soft and sweet. Florida got back up, Mass' blush grew. 

"I love you, I have for awhile." Florida admitted.

"I love you too." Massachusetts muttered just enough so Florida could hear.

Florida collapsed into the others arms, cuddling.
