Tw mentions civil war and death but only for a few seconds just thought I'd put this here-

So... I like the idea of North and South Carolina's parents giving them little hair clips made out of wood.

South got a moon and North got a sun

They used to wear them all the time, till one day a British man came and killed their parents.

They stopped wearing them while under British rule to prevent him from stealing the only remains of the happy family

After they wore it they stopped

During the Civil war, they started wearing it so they could tell each other apart on the battlefield

Then when Geo and South we're burned and brought up North N.J and PA we're in charge of taking care of each of them.

N.J constantly asked why South wore it and South refused to tell him in hopes of seeing his brother sometime soon.

When they reunited they were very close and talked for hours trying to catch up

I feel like they eventually drifted apart tho... Like they felt a lot of mistrust in each other and eventually it built up and caused them to have a huge fight.

They claim they still hate each other and refuse to wear their parent's wooden hairpieces. But they never got rid of them.

They keep them to remind them of the past, and sometimes they'll question what happened to them.

But their pride is too big to make amends with each other as much as they want too.

Now to disappear again-
