I've had it rough for the last couple days.

And swept up in the mess that has recently become my life, I failed to follow through on a few commitments. Lucky for me, a friend of mine managed to cover my sorry ass.

That didn't stop me from being torn up with guilt though.

Upset and worried, I confided in an unlikely alley.

With a kind look in his eyes, he asked me, "Do you know why you feel so guilty?"

I shook my head. 

"It's because you're a good person," he said. "Everyone needs help at times. The best thing you can do is... pay it forward."
