Xara's POV

It was like any other day, starving, no eating, dealing with the body shaming, abuse, taking care of my siblings..

I was being weighed, like always, Mr. Doe by my side, seeming disappointed. All I could hear was moaning in the background, behind the curtain. It was Aiden watching porn.. of course. When I arrive, Aiden has to be there as well, so he can talk to both of us and take care of us like an actually father would.

"100 lbs.." Mr. Doe said with a sigh, writing down my weight as I tear up, Last time I only weighed 110 lbs.. that means I lost 10 lbs since two days ago..

I stepped off the scale and looked at him and asked for milk, which is the only way I'll eat. He nodded as he opened the curtain, after sitting down with a bottle of milk. I sat on his lap and he fed me, smiling warmly as I drank it also smiling, getting slowly tired. 

After a minute or two of feeding me, I had fallen asleep so Mr. Doe put me on the couch carefully where Aiden was watching Porn shit. Doe never liked him watching that, especially when I'm in the office, so he grabbed the remote from him and turned it off, bringing him to his desk. The two sit down and talk..

When Aiden was done talking, he let us go to lunch. Aiden of course went to Jaxon, Petra, and the other guys and sat down, seeming happy, as I on the other hand sat with Romeo, Fred, and Binta, also happy. The three of them seemed happy. Romeo was eating Subway, Binta and Fred was sharing Dairy Queen.

Yes, high school in our area is the best school since you can get anything from Dairy Queen, McDonald's, KFC, Subway, slushies, etc while the younger kids in the junior high and the grade school's only get actual school lunch. Haha.. 

Anyways, I just sat there watching them eat and offer me some, but I just refuse to take what they offer. BUT I take Romeo's cherry slushie, giving him a evil smile. Romeo hissed and growls quietly, trying to grab it back. Suddenly there was a fight between Aiden and my brother, who was smaller and weaker than him. Everyone was watching, Mr. Doe and the Warden ran in, grabbing Aiden. I tried not to feel bad for Jesse but, knowing how weak and small he is, I just had to feel bad.

"LET GO OF ME!" Aiden screams, not wanting to be touched or dragged away to the office. Jesse sat on the floor, tears running down his face so I just stand up wanting to go check on him but Petra had already gone to him, kneeling over to him, giving my brother a tight hug, letting him cry into her shoulder "I-It's all my fault... I pissed him off..!" Jesse starts sobbing, blaming himself. "No it isn't.. Don't blame yourself.. he's just an ass who can't think right." Petra responded in a sweet, soft tone which she never really had.

A few weeks had passed, my weight has been changing, going up and down constantly, homecoming was coming up soon.

We were eating dinner. My dad wasn't there so it was only my mom, Jesse, Gray, and I, so it was... quiet. 

"So uh.. I was thinking of asking Petra out but uh.. I don't think she'll want to go...... with me." Jesse said quietly, putting food in his mouth. We all looked at him and everything starts getting loud. 

"I think she'll love to go with you, baby." Mom says

Gray and I look at her with a disgusted face

"Why would she go out with him?" Gray says

"Yeah! Why would she? He's annoying.." I say, glaring slightly, a bit jealous

"Guy's leave him alone!" Mom started to glare at us two then but looked back at Jesse "You're a good and nice kid Jesse, I think she won't turn you down." she said with a small smile, making Jesse smile but that made me and Gray roll our eyes so I just played with my food, which I barely ate then got up and went to my room, laying down and started to cry silently.
