It was outside.
The smell of dirt caused Kennedy to look around. She knew she was on a track the school used for gym and cross country, but she didn't know why. She felt two looming figures behind her. She turned around slowly, seeing both Ethan and Aiden towering over her. She gulped, realizing something she didn't piece together sooner.
They were Alphas.

"No, actually, I dont like that idea!"
Isaac rolled his eyes at Kennedy, "It's a shampoo."
"A shampoo that ruins my hair!" She snapped, snatching the cheap bottle from his hands. "I'm not letting these beautiful locks I have spent years mastering go to waste because you and Derek are too imbecilic to understand basic hygiene!"
Derek pokes his head out of the bathroom, only wearing his jeans for the day. "Hey! I have good hygiene." He argued as he brushed his teeth.
Kennedy rose a brow, "You're only brushing your teeth cause you're going to go flirt with my english teacher." She muttered. "Which is so gross, by the way!" Isaac and Derek watched as Kennedy tossed the cheap shampoo in the trash, and placed some expensive kind Peter bought her. "If I see one more cheap shampoo bottle in this house, I will have your heads, you hear me? Your heads will be mine!"
Isaac rolled his eyes, following Kennedy to her room. "I'm sorry for the shampoo," He said slowly. Kennedy looked up from her vanity. "It won't happen again.
"Oh, I know it won't," Kennedy said with a smile. She looked around frustratingly. "Where is my purse," Isaac looked at the handbag, racing to grab it the same time she did. The two abruptly stopped, lightly bumping into each other. Chest to chest, Kennedy sucked in a startled breath as she looked at Isaac. His icy blue eyes stared back at her, his cool mint breath fanning over her face. He wanted to lean in, but he knew she would probably kick his ass if he did. But, god how he wanted to. Hell, he's wanted a moment like this since they were in middle school. But he couldn't, he wouldn't. She had Stiles, and she was happy.
Kennedy stepped back, as did Isaac. He held onto her purse, looking down at it. "Here," He whispered. Kennedy awkwardly smiled, taking it from him. She flipped her hair, walking out of her room.
"I'm in control of shampoo from now on!" She shouts, pointing at Derek. Derek nods, giving her a thumbs up, the girl storming down the stairs.
Isaac watched in confusion. "I think she's the most girly werewolf I've ever met." He said honestly.
"I guess that's what happens when we let her be friends with Lydia."
Kennedy turned around, "Isaac, are you coming or am I asking Stiles if he can pick me up so he and I can have-"
"HE'S COMING!" Derek yelled, practically throwing Isaac down the steps. Kennedy smirked proudly as Isaac tumbled down. Isaac looked up at her in disbelief.
"You're evil." Isaac whispered, groaning in pain. Kennedy helped him to his feet, smiling innocent.
"I know! Isn't it great?"

Coach Finstock watches as Isaac and Kennedy walked in. "Mr. Lahey, happy to have you back. Not happy that you're late."
"Sorry, coach." Isaac mumbled.
"Kennedy Hale! What did I tell you about the boys locker room?" Finstock scolded.
The girl rose a brow, "And I said I didn't care." She said in honesty. Coach blinked at her, letting her statement sink in.
Coach slapped her back, "That's the spirit!" He cheered. "I'll remind you all, cross-country is not optional for lacrosse players. I don't need you turning into a bunch of fat-asses in the off-season." Kennedy watched as Danny and Isaac pulled off their shirts. Danny was quite literally ripped, major abs, and Isaac wasn't so bad himself. Kennedy looked at Coach, raising a brow. "So work on that."
Stiles gasped as his girlfriend approached him. "Kennedy, can not having sex in a year cancel out having sex in general?"
The Hale shook her head, "What?"
"Virgins are being sacrificed! What if because I haven't had sex in a long time it means I'm a born again virgin!?" Stiles pauses, looking at Kennedy. "Oh god, what if you're a born again virgin!?"
Kennedy blinked at Stiles, "Is this your way of saying you want to have sex? Cause it's not very romantic." She bluntly stated. Scott laughed as he grabbed Stiles, pulling him along.
"Will we see you out there?" Scott inquired.
"Definitely." Kennedy waved them off. She sighed as she walked to the girls locker room. It didn't take long for Kennedy to change outfits. She thought about her funny dream about Ethan and Aiden being the Alphas. There was no way! She would've been able to tell, or they would've already kidnapped her and taken her organs. Nonetheless, Kennedy changed into leggings and a tight tank top. She pulled her hair back into a pony tail, and zipped up her Beacon Hills sweatshirt.
Outside, everyone waited for Coach to say to run. Kennedy approached Isaac, wandering if she should tell him her dream. "Isaac, weird werewolf question."
she said. Isaac kneeled down, tying his shoes.
"Yeah?"
Kennedy bit the inside of her cheek. "Do you ever get weird dreams that are like, almost telling the future?" She asked him honestly. Isaac frowned as he fiddled with his shoe laces.
"No, what are you talking about?" He asked her.
"Nevermind-" Kennedy trailed off as she felt a presence behind her. She turned around slowly, seeing both Ethan and Aiden towering over her. She gulped, realizing that once again, her dreams were right.
They were Alphas.
Isaac visibly tenses up, preparing to turnaround when Coach blows his whistle. "Pace yourselves! Come on!"
Isaac stands, and Scott grabs his arm. "Isaac!"
"It's them." The Lahey hisses, pushing Scott off.
"Isaac, wait!" Kennedy looks back at the Lahey. These Alphas knew why Deucalion wanted her. She needed to know too. "Kennedy!" Breaking into a sprint, she chases after the werewolves. Air brushed against Kennedy's skin, and she felt her adrenaline flood her body.
Isaac and Kennedy were fast, but the twins were faster. Kennedy and Isaac watched as the two twins turned on the trail. They followed, but suddenly the two alphas were gone. Kennedy slowed to a stop, looking around in confusion. "Well that's not good." She whispered. Suddenly, something behind both of them causes them to go flying into the grass. Isaac grunts as he rolls a few feet. Kennedy looks up, grunting as Aiden grabs Isaac.
"Ethan, I always forget, how many bones in the human body?"
Ethan looks down at Isaac with a smile, "I don't know. Let's count." Ethan goes to break Isaac's arm, when Scott punches him in the jaw.
"That's one."
Kennedy smiled wickedly as she kicked Aiden, sending him to the ground. The sound of crunching symbolized she temporarily broke his wrist from
his fall. "And that's two."
The Alpha twins growled as their eyes turned red & they flicked their claws. Isaac roared, his face changing to glowing eyes and teeth. Scott and Kennedy did the same. Before they could do anything else, a sound for a scream caught them off guard.
The three of them ran to Stiles, seeing a body tied to a tree. Kennedy's hand instantly went to Stiles's, the two staying close to one another. The body as bloody, throat slit and everything, "It's him, isn't it?" Stiles asked.
༺❀༻
Sheriff Stilinski stormed the scene with police, "Hey, get out of the way. Get back. Get this area cordoned off before they trample every piece of evidence."
Deputy Tara waved everyone back, "Back up! Everyone back!"
Kennedy watched as Stiles tried to point out to his dad the body was the same. Kennedy looked at the ground, having seen way to many bodies recently, "You heard the man. Nothing to see here." Coach called out, "Probably just some homeless kid."
Kennedy looked up slowly, "He was a senior." She frowned. Coach sighed, looking at her
"He wasn't on the team, was he?"
"Oh, God, Kyle!" A girl screamed. Kennedy felt bad, realizing she was likely Kyle's girlfriend. The Hale looked at the twins, who both seemed just as concerned and grossed out as anyone else. Stiles wrapped an arm over Kennedy's shoulders, all four teens walking away.
"You see the way the twins looked at him?" Isaac asked.
Stiles nods, "Yeah, you mean like they had no idea what happened?"
Isaac shook his head, "No, no, they knew." He said quietly.
"The kid was strangled with a garrote, all right? Am I the only one recognizing the lack of werewolfitude in these murders?"Stiles asked.
"No, you're not." Kennedy sighed.
Isaac looked over, "Oh, you think it's a coincidence they turn up and then people start dying?"
Stiles shrugged, "Well, no, but I still don't think it's them."
Kennedy sighed, "Scott? What do you think?" She asked. Stiles and Isaac look at the McCall.
"I don't know yet."
"You don't know yet?"
Scott shrugged at the human, "Well, he's got a point." Scott mumbled. "Seriously, dude, human sacrifices?"
"Scott, your eyes turn into yellow glow sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks and then will immediately disappear, and if I were to stab you right now, it would just magically heal, but you're telling me that you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices?" Stiles inquired.
Kennedy sighed, "That's a good point too." She mumbled.
Isaac shook his head. "I don't care. They killed that kid, they killed the girl that saved me." He said, "I'm gonna kill them too." Kennedy watched as he walked away.
"Well that's not what I was hoping for." Kennedy said as she looked at Scott and Stiles.

Kennedy and Stiles sat in the library together. She felt better, knowing they had some time alone today. It gave her the chance to tell him what she's been dealing with. "Stiles,"
The human boy looks up, "Yeah?"
"I have to tell you something," Kennedy began slowly. Stiles turned to look at her. Kennedy had a serious expression on her face, which already led Stiles to being concerned.
"Of course," Stiles nodded at her, placing his hand over hers. "What is it?"
She looked down, worried what he's going to say. What if he said she's crazy? What if it's all a big coincidence? All of the issues spawn in her head, and it cashed her to be more and more worried. Stiles saw the uneasy stance she was in. Instantly, Stiles lifted her chin with his hand, leaning in. Kennedy closed her eyes as soon as Stiles kissed her. Every part of her relaxed, and she kissed back. Stiles pulled away, looking at her with a kind stare.
"Feel better?"
Kennedy smiled, "Much better." She told him. Kennedy sighed as she tried to find the words. "Back when Derek was shot, I had these dreams. Except I was awake." She told Stiles. "And then they stopped when I remembered Peter, until recently." Stiles eyebrows knitted in confusion. "I've been having dreams, except now they're coming true. The birds at the school, the alpha twins, Derek getting attacked. It's all happening. Sometimes when I'm sleeping, sometimes when I'm walking down the hall. I dont know what it is, but I'm scared, Stiles."
The human boy looked down at his girlfriends hands, rubbing his thumbs over her knuckles soothingly as he tried to piece together what she was saying. She was scared, and from the look of her face, terrified. He would be too if he was having dreams of the literal future. He was thankful that she told him. Kennedy was clearly worried about his reaction, but she still told him.
Stiles looked up at her, "We'll figure everything out together, okay?" He intwined his fingers with hers. His calloused hands were familiar to the brunette, and she sighed in content. "Have you told Derek? Or your dad?" Kennedy shook her head slowly.
"I feel like I'm going insane."
"You're not insane, alright?" Stiles told his girlfriend. Kennedy looked up at him, unsure. "Maybe it's something to do with your moms side. Derek's said there's a lot we don't know about her, right? Maybe she could see the future too."
Kennedy nods. Exhaling, the teenage girl leaned back in her chair. "Thank you, Stiles." She said.
The school bell rings, and both of them gathered their things. "I'm going to go find out more about that Kyle guy, alright?" Stiles said. Kennedy nods, pecking Stiles's lips before the two split ways completely. She smiled to herself as she walked down the hall, her boots clicking and clacking on the ground. Isaac came out of class, his eyes catching his roommate. He jogged after her, wrapping his arms over her shoulders.
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry about the shampoo?" Isaac asked her.
Kennedy smiled to herself in thought. "One more time." She said cheekily. Isaac groaned, pulling her to a stop. They stood to the side, and Isaac towered over her.
Isaac straightened his back, and sighed. "Kennedy, I am sorry about the shampoo. It will never happen again." Kennedy rose a brow. "And I'll clean up Derek's shaved hair out of the sink for the next week."
"Much better!" Kennedy said, patting Isaac's chest. They walk down the hall, and Scott begins walking towards them.
"You okay?" Scott asked Isaac. Kennedy pauses, remembering that Isaac has lunch detention because of the twins.
Isaac's previously happy face turned into his now common scowl. "I might rip them apart." He mutters.
"Don't let it bother you. It's just lunchtime detention. If all they want right now is to piss you off, then don't give in." Scott said to the Lahey. Kennedy leaned against the locker next to Isaac's, crossing her arms over her chest. "They're just trying to get to you."
Isaac looked over Scott's shoulder. "It's not just me." Kennedy watched Aiden and Lydia speaking. She straightened her pace, confidently walking over.
"What about tonight?" Aiden asked.
Lydia slammed her locker shut. "Nope. Studying."
"With me." Kennedy said with a smile as she linked arms with Lydia.
Aiden looked both of them up and down. "I could help you." He offered.
Kennedy and Lydia shared a look, before looking back. "Do you have an IQ higher than 170?" Lydia inquired.
"Or a higher mental capacity than a prepubescent middle schooler?" Kennedy followed, looking Aiden up and down with a clearly unimpressed look.
"Okay. You could help me." Lydia scoffed at Aiden's offer, but she smirked to herself. "Tonight then?"
Lydia patted his chest. "Come on, Lydia, I'll walk you to class." Kennedy chimes, the two girls walking away.

Scott McCall sat at his lunch table with Kennedy. "It feels empty with everyone at detention." He joked. Kennedy nods, eating a salad.
"Maybe we should be more trouble makers. I heard they lock us in the library and we can sleep the entire time." Kennedy retorted. Scott laughed, nodding.
"I think Derek would have my head if we were in detention more than needed." He muttered. Kennedy shrugged. "So, how is Isaac, by the way? After Erica and everything." Scott thought it was strange how Kennedy's dynamic with the Hale pack had changed so much. Her and Isaac were now almost as close as she was with people like Danny or Jackson before he left. Before any of this, Kennedy would've barely bat an eye at the teenage son of the swim team coach.
Kennedy shrugged, "He's alright. Working through it just like the rest of us." Scott nodded in understanding.
Scott and Kennedy stop when they hear some loud sounds with their hearing. "What is that?" Scott asked.
"I think it's Isaac." Kennedy said softly. She listened closely, realizing there was not one heartbeat, but two. "And Allison." Both werewolves spring to their feet, running as fast as they can to the sounds they heard. A vending machine was shoved in front of the door. "Isaac's terrified of small spaces," Kennedy whispered. Kennedy grabbed the side, and Scott followed suit. Their werewolf abilities assist them in pulling them back tightly.
The roar inside caused the two to alarmingly pull faster. Kennedy swings open the door, and Scott runs inside. Isaac holds Allison back, but is thrown outside by the McCall. Scott glances at Allison but runs to push Isaac to the ground.
"Stop! Get off of him!" Kennedy yelled. Isaac roars and the Hale girl pushes Scott back. Kennedy kneels down, her dark yellow eyes flashing down at the Lahey. They were still darker, like before, but it seemed like Isaac had been the only one to see, maybe because he was the only one she's gone werewolf on recently. "Isaac,"
Her voice rang in his ears, and the memories of Kennedy Stallard flash his mind. All of the times he pined over her freshman and sophomore year. The time they've spent bothering Derek at home. Scott realized quickly that Isaac's anchor was his dad, but now it was Kennedy, Isaac's closest friend.
Isaac pulled himself to the wall, Allison walking out of the closet. Kennedy looks over to see a scratch on Allison's wrist. "I'm okay. I'm fine." Allison said to Scott.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." Isaac said, guilt in his voice. He felt terrible hurting someone, and it was evident in his sad blue eyes.
Allison shook her head. "I'm okay."
"I'm so sorry."
Kennedy smiled at Isaac, trying to comfort him, "It's okay, this wasn't your fault." She said. Kennedy stood up, looking at the Argent.
"It's not his fault." Allison said to Scott.
"I know." Scott said, "I guess now we know they want to do more than get you angry."
Kennedy nods, "They want to get someone hurt." She mumbled.
Isaac looked up at them, "So are we gonna do something?" He asked, upset that the twins were the ones who picked himself and a human in a small space.
"Yeah." Scott said, making eye contact with Kennedy. Allison noticed the look both shared, it was a look they always had when working together, which they seem to do a lot. "I'm gonna get them angry. Really angry."
༺❀༻
Lydia and Kennedy walked in sync as they talked. "I'm glad Allison's okay," The Martin chimes. Kennedy nods, the two of them watching Stiles run up to them.
"You know that there's a temple in Calcutta where they used to sacrifice a child every day?" Stiles begins. Both girls roll their eyes, walking away. "That's every day a dead baby, Kenny, every day! Hey, you want to know what today is? It's dead baby day. Oh, no, wait, that's every day, because every day is dead baby day, yay!"
Lydia looks at Stiles, "Why are you telling us this?"
"Because Scott's dealing with the Alpha twins." Lydia paused, looking at Kennedy and Stiles. "You don't know about the twins?"
"Alphas?"
Kennedy nods, "Ethan and Aiden. They're the Alpha twins that attacked Isaac." She explained.
Lydia looks at the ground in realization, "Oh, yeah. Yeah, I knew about them." She says hastily, her and Kennedy beginning their walk
"Okay, okay, good. So look, here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking that the murders maybe come in threes. Ancient people love things in threes, right?"
"That's what my mom told me," Kennedy added.
Stiles nods, "So maybe first it's three virgins, and then, I don't know, maybe it's three people who own little dogs."
Lydia looks at Stiles. "I own a little dog." Stiles raises a brow. "I am not getting rid of my dog!"
Stiles throws his hands in the air. "Would you just think about getting rid of your little dog?"
"No. And by the way, you cannot discern a pattern by a single data point, so stop trying."
"Wha-okay, so what, I'm just supposed to wait around for someone else to die, then? I'm just supposed to sit there and watch them die? Just wait for them to wither up and die right in front of me?"
Kennedy pauses, looking at her boyfriend. "Wither?"
Stiles tosses his hands up, "You know what I mean. Die, in just a hideously awful, strangulating, head-bashing, throat-cutting kind of way." He told the pair.
Lydia held up a finger. "Maybe it's not your job. You said it yourself, they were strangled with a garrote. That's a human thing to do, so maybe just leave the figuring it out part to someone human." She explains.
Stiles adjusts his backpack. "You mean someone like my dad?"
"No, I mean your dad." Lydia said, walking away from him and Kennedy. "The sheriff!"
Stiles and Kennedy looked at each other. "What do you think?" Stiles asks his girlfriend, who could apparently dream of the future.
Kennedy looks around in thought. "As much as I hate to tell you this, Lydia's right." She shrugs. "There's not enough proof that this is someone supernatural. It's probably just some crazy lunatic who wants to be supernatural and has no idea that there are walking werewolves." Stiles listens to his girlfriend, "Maybe we should leave it to your dad."

Kennedy giggled as she saw the picture of Isaac on Aiden's bike. Scott walked up to her, "Saw it too?" He asked with a smile. Kennedy nods, and the two take their usual seats. This was Kennedy's final class, and was an elective english course Scott forced her to sign up for.
"Okay, everyone. I know this is the last class of the day." Ms. Blake said, "To be honest, I want to get out of here too."
Scott reached into his backpack, pulling out some spinning wheel from the twins's bikes. Kennedy turns in her seat, taking it from his hands, "Looks kind of important." Kennedy shrugs.
The McCall pulls out another device, "I have no idea what that thing does."
A Motorcycle revs outside, and Kennedy smirks. Aiden springs to his feet. "Wait. Aiden, don't!"
The alpha twin is already gone. Kennedy looks at Ms. Blake. "I'll go get him, if you want?" Kennedy offered. She gave a fake innocent smile.
Jennifer nods, "Please,"
Scott watched as Kennedy winked at him, sliding out of her seat. Kennedy walked out of the classroom, running after Aiden. Isaac sped down the hall, pulling to an abrupt spot in front of him. "Get off my bike!"
Isaac pulled off his helmet, "No problem." He said. Kennedy bit her lip watching Isaac flip over the boys shoulders. Isaac landed next to Kennedy. The Hale girl heard her teachers footsteps, and quickly pulled in acting mode. Isaac put his arms out in front of her, and Kennedy screamed.
"You almost hit me!" Kennedy cried out, Allison and Scott walked around the corner to see the planned out scene before them. Aiden standing there, in front of his bike, with his helmet. Isaac kept his arms around the Hale, secretly savoring the moment
Jennifer Blake stood next to Kennedy. "You have got to be kidding me." She began. "You realize this is gonna result in a suspension." Ethan and Aiden looked over. Allison held in her laugh as Isaac and Scott smirked at them. Kennedy's fake expression turned into a mischievous smile, and she gave a gentle wave to them both.

Deucalion walked with Kali by his side, him and his alphas leaving behind the injured Derek and his sister. "Derek," The Hale siblings looked up, seeing the alpha of alphas looking back. "Tell Kennedy I can't wait to meet her." He said with a smirk.
"You stay away from her." Derek huffed out.
The Demon Wolf sighed, tapping his walking stick on the ground. "Even if I wanted to, Derek, you know a Valet could never escape an alpha."
Meanwhile, Kennedy walked into the music room. "You texted?" She said to Lydia.
"Yeah, just felt weird." Lydia said slowly. "I don't even remember coming in here." She said as she looked around. The redhead looked at the piano. "Someone left their phone."
Kennedy glanced at the Samsung. "Who's stupid enough to do that, other than Derek?" She asked, causing Lydia to roll her eyes. Lydia clicked on the recording on the app that was left open. The two girls listened closely.
"Recording piano, part three." A voice said, probably the music teacher. Piano calmly played, and both girls listened for a moment. Kennedy sighed, slipping forward a bit. The music continued when suddenly theres a loud sound of cacophonous keys. Both girls jump back, not expecting that. The music stopped for a moment. Kennedy and Lydia looked at the audio, realizing there was still music.
"Do you hear that?" Lydia whispered. Kennedy slowly nods. Both girls lean close, the sound of what seems to be chanting comes from the phone. Kennedy and Lydia look at each other with wide eyes. Lydia turns up the volume. The chanting was menacing, but not english. It continued until cutting off abruptly. "What the hell is that?"
Kennedy licked her lips before bringing them between her teeth. "Nothing good." She said softly. "Stiles was right, this isn't human."
Lydia bit the inside of her cheek. "I'm going to throw up." She said softly.
"I have to call Stiles." She said. Lydia nods, hugging her body. Kennedy pulled out her phone, putting it on speaker.
Stiles answers on the second ring. "Babe, I'm sorry but I can't-"
"The music teacher is the next one." Kennedy says.
"Wait, what?"
Kennedy swallows thickly. "Lydia and I are in the music room, the teachers missing, and he's next."
"Okay, are you sure he's missing?"
Lydia speaks up, "Not just missing. Taken." She says as she closes the piano key cover, revealing a bloody spot on the wood.
"Are you guys okay?" Stiles asked.
"We're fine, but can you please just get here quick?" Kennedy pleads.
"Yeah, coming over with Deaton right now."
Kennedy hung up the phone, looking at her best friend since kindergarten. Lydia crossed her arms, "Why are we always finding dead bodies?" She asked.
"I don't know." Kennedy whispered. "Maybe it's something to do with I'm a freaky werewolf and you're you."
"You mean waking up screaming at random times?" Lydia offered. Kennedy purses her lips, knowing their secret idea they shared. Lydia, like Kennedy, was having weird mojo. Kennedy didn't know if it was connected, but either way it was freaking them both out.
Kennedy nods, leaning against the piano. "Well, at least you're not predicting the future," She says with a sarcastic smile. Lydia hums, standing next to her. "I guess best friends can share more than we realize."
Lydia giggles, "Yeah, no kidding."

Stiles shuffled through a desk as Deaton looked over the recording. "Can we get a copy of this?" He asked, Lydia nods, taking it from the veterinarians hand.
"Hey, doc, any help would be, you know, helpful."
Kennedy sent a glare to her boyfriend, before looking at Deaton. "Sorry, do you know what this is?" She asked.
"Each grouping of three would have its own purpose, its own type of power. Virgins, healers, philosophers, warriors-"
Stiles abruptly cut in, "Wait, wait, wait, wait. Warrior, could that also be like a soldier?"
"Absolutely."
Stiles held up a picture of the music teacher and his wife on their wedding day. The teacher was wearing a uniform. "Kyle was in R.O.T.C. with Boyd." He followed.
Kennedy nods, "Well, then that's got to be it. That's the pattern, right?"
"Where's Boyd?" Deaton asked.
Stiles pulled out his phone. "He's probably home by now. I'm gonna try and get him on the phone." Kennedy pats Stiles's shoulder as he walks off. She looks at her friend, who seemed lost in her own world.
Deaton looked over at the red head. "Lydia? Something wrong?"
"No, it was-I mean," Lydia stutters in thought, "I just thought of someone else with a military connection."
Stiles looks up, "Who?" He asked.
Lydia swallows thickly, "Mr. Harris." She mumbled.
"Oh, god," Kennedy stutters out. "You don't think-"
"I don't think it'd be smart to wait," Deaton followed.
Stiles put a hand on the small of Kennedy's back, the four of them rushing to the science hall. Kennedy was worried, what if Mr. Harris was in fact next? How would they find him? How would they save him? Kennedy's eyes flashed their dark yellow as she rushed towards her class. The door was unlocked, and all four of them began to search for Mr. Harris.
"This is just one of many possibilities. He could have simply left for the day." Says Deaton.
Stiles stood up from behind Mr. Harris's desks. "Yeah, well," Stiles held up the teachers bag for work. "Not without this."
Kennedy looked at Lydia, the two of them looking at the papers on the teachers desk. Kennedy looks down in curiosity. "Kennedy? What is it?" Deaton asked the brunette.
"This test is graded R." Kennedy said slowly, holding up the paper.
Lydia holds up another. "This one's an H."
Deaton looks down, walking around the desk. The three teens watch as Deaton shuffles through the tears, as well as all the letters on them. Kennedy looked at Lydia, both girls equally confused. Deaton placed his palms on the table, "Stiles, you remember I told you druid is the Gaelic word for wise oak?" He asked the human boy.
"Yeah."
"If a druid went down the wrong path, the wise oak was sometimes said to have become a dark oak." Deaton explained, "There's a Gaelic word for that as well," He looked at the papers he had adjusted on the desk. "Darach." Kennedy looked at the desk, seeing the letters on the table spelling that out exactly. She sighed, looking down in worry.

"You're joking, right?" Kennedy's asked out loud.
Isaac shrugged his shoulders, "I don't get it. Look, did something happen?" He and Kennedy stood by one another, looking at Derek as he stood at the window.
The elder Hale sighed, "It's just not gonna work with all of you here. I've got Kennedy and Cora now." Kennedy looked at Isaac, "It's too much. I need you out tonight."
"Where am I supposed to go?" Isaac asks. Kennedy couldn't believe it. Derek was really kicking Isaac out, one of her best friends.
"Somewhere else."
Thunder cracked outside, causing Kennedy to jump. Isaac looked at the alpha, "Did I do something wrong, Derek?" He asked earnestly. Kennedy reached up to touch his arm in comfort.
Derek turned around, "You're doing something wrong right now by not leaving." He retorted
"Oh, come on."
Derek pointed his finger, "Just get out." Isaac shook his head, looking at Kennedy. The two teens were shocked, and confused.
"Derek, please." Isaac pleased, "Come on."
"Go!"
Kennedy gasped as Derek threw his glass at Isaac. She looked at the Lahey in concern. "Isaac, oh my god," She whispered, rushing to him. "Are you okay?"
Isaac placed his hands on Kennedy's shoulders, his thumbs tapping her shoulder blade. She worried about him. She always would. Isaac's blue eyes made contact with her brown ones. He had the same petrified look he used to have, but he quickly masked it as he looked down. "I'm okay." He whispered. Kennedy felt her heart shatter for what was probably the millionth time as Isaac pulled away. The Lahey grabbed his bag, walking towards the door.
"Isaac, wait," Kennedy pleaded, tears threatening to spill. "Isaac!" She called out, but it was too late. Isaac slid the door closed, and it was the end of her friend living with her, she realized.
Derek leaned his hands on to the table, looking at his cousin. "Kennedy-"
"How could you!?" Kennedy shouted, turning towards Derek. "After everything he's been through, how could you abandon him?" She yelled. "How could you throw something at him, knowing what his dad did to him!?"
"It's not that simple-"
Kennedy cut him off. "It is that simple! You're supposed to be his alpha!" Kennedy's voice boomed in the loft. Cora, who hid behind a wall, slid to the ground in fear. "He was our friend! My friend!"
"Kenny, I need to protect you! I need to protect you from him!" Derek shouted as he circled around the table.
"From Deucalion?" Kennedy asked, her voice bitter. "What does he want with me?" She hissed. Derek was silent as he looked at the ground. Either he didn't want to tell her, or he didn't know. Kennedy scoffed, "Then I guess I don't need your protection."
The elder Hale watched as his cousin grabbed her backpack, storming towards the door. "Where are you going!?" Derek shouted.
Kennedy held up a middle finger, "Away from you." She snipped. Derek sighed in frustration as Kennedy slung open the front door, shutting it behind her.

Less than an hour later, Stiles Stilinski sits in his room, pencil in mouth, scribbling down notes about Darach, about people who could see the future, and homework all at the same time. The storm outside only raged on. A knock on his door caused him to stand up from his chair, swinging it open.
Kennedy stood there, clothing and hair soaked from the rain. Her backpack at her feet. Stiles looked at her in confusion. "Your dad let me in." She sheepishly said.
Stiles opened his door further. "Uh, come in," He said, taking her bag. Kennedy stepped into his room, which she had seen so many times before. "What happened?"
"Derek and I got in a fight." She said, looking back at her boyfriend. "He kicked Isaac out."
"Oh," Stiles mumbled, "I'm sorry,"
Kennedy shrugged. "I didn't want to go to my dads, I don't want Derek trying to talk to me." She said. Stiles nods, understanding completely. He wouldn't want Derek chasing him around either. The Hale girl fiddled her fingers together, "Could I, um, stay for a few days? Until everything blows over at home." She mumbled.
Stiles looked at her, shoving his hands in his sweatpants pockets. "My dad already said you could, didn't he?" He inquired. Kennedy purses her lips.
"He said I could have the guest room." Kennedy admitted, scrunching her nose as she smiled. The couple laughed, and the girl shivered as she felt a wind of AC. Stiles's eyes widen in realization.
"Oh, god, you must be freezing," Stiles ushered. Kennedy watched as the boy opened his closet door. The teenage boy grunted as an old lacrosse stick hits him in the head, before he finally found one of his gray hoodies.
The girl shook her head, "You don't need to-"
"Yes, I do," Stiles said, handing her the clothing item. "You also have a pair of shorts here from when we did that water balloon fight with Scott last year." He said, going to a small basket in his closet and handing her the pair of black shorts. Kennedy smiled, taking them both from his hands. She purses her lips together tightly, before giving a smile. Stiles's eyes widened when Kennedy slowly leaned down, pulling off her shoes and her skirt. "Holy hell- what are you doing!?" The boy shouted, turning away quickly.
Kennedy looks up, pulling up the shorts. "Oh, come on, it's nothing you haven't seen before!" She gushed.
Stiles looked at the ceiling, tossing his hand in the air. "Well, that was different. We weren't,," Stiles began to stutter over his words. "We weren't dating." He finally got out.
His girlfriend smiled as she slid off her shirt. She stepped forwards, grabbing Stiles's shoulders and turning him around. Stiles stuttered out before Kennedy suddenly kissed him. His tense shoulders slowly slouched, and his eyes shut as his hands wrapped around her bare waist. Kennedy's hands landed on his face, their kiss comforting for them both. Stiles practically forgot that she had no shirt on, and he didn't really care as they kissed in the middle of his room.
Kennedy pulled away first, smiling up at him. "We are now," She chirped, grabbing the sweatshirt and pulling it over her head. Stiles swallows thickly, trying not to look too intensely. Once she was actually dressed, Kennedy patted his shoulder, "Goodnight, Stiles," She said.
Stiles turned as his girlfriend walked towards his door. "Uh, night!" He stuttered out, feeling breathless as she closed the door. He sighed, falling into his chair. "Oh my god, I'm gonna die," Stiles mumbled.
