Kennedy struggled to pull herself off the ground when Stiles, Scott, Deaton, and Noah came barreling down the stairs. Malia turned, helping Kennedy up as Scott came to a halt.

"It wasn't us." Is the first thing Malia said.

Scott looked at Tracy as Noah walked over. "What the hell happened to her?"

Stiles looked at Kennedy, who finally stood on her own. "There were these people," She began.

"They had masks," Malia said as she looked around, eyes glossy, "Um, there, there were three of them."

Kennedy nods, "Yeah, I think there were three." Kennedy said in agreement with her sister.

"What are you talking about?" Stiles asked in concern.

Kennedy shook her head, "They were strong, Stiles. They had a weapon." She explained with glossy eyes, "Stiles, we didn't do this."

Stiles nods, "Okay." He whispered.

"She's not changing back." Deaton told them, "We're going to need to get her out of here."

"What, hey," Noah Stilinski snapped, "Absolutely not. This is a crime scene. We call the coroner."

Deaton looks up, "I think the coroner might be very confused by this girl's severed reptilian tail," He pointed out.

"I dont care!"

"You should. Unless you're prepared to hold a press conference announcing the presence of supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills." Deaton stated bluntly.

Kennedy held onto Malia, the two of them still shaken up about whatever just happened. Stiles speaks up, "Dad, he's right." He said.

Noah shook his head."Maybe at the clinic we can figure out how to change her back, then call the coroner?" Scott offered.

Noah stammered, "There's a line. There is a line that we have to draw."

"Dad, you've already crossed it. More than once."

"Sheriff, please." Deaton said, "Let me help." Noah looked at the veterinarian. "I've dealt with things like this before."

Noah shook his head, annoyed beyond belief he had to bend his morals once again. "Just do it fast." He snapped. Stiles turned towards the Hale sisters, seeing the scared look on Kennedy's face.

Kennedy breathed heavily, "Stiles," She uttered our, feeling fear strike through her. "I didn't do this. We didn't-"

"Hey," Stiles began, grabbing his girlfriends hands. "I believe you, okay? I always believe you, don't I?" Kennedy slowly nodded, but she didn't know if that was true. She didn't know how to tell him.

She didn't know how to tell him she saw Sloane Valet.

Kennedy paced the floor as she waited in the hospital for news on Lydia. "Kennedy,"

The Hale looked at Melissa McCall, "How bad is it?" She asked in worry.

"Could have been worse." She explained, "Theo, nice going on that tourniquet. You probably saved her life." Kennedy held hands with Stiles, watching Scott and Liam join them. "All right. She's about to go into surgery. So it's going to be a while. Any other supernatural details that I need to know about or do we just stitch her up and hope for the best?"

"It was the tail." Kira said pointedly.

Scott nods, "Yeah, Tracy cut her with the tail, if that makes a difference."

"Okay." Melissa nods before walking away.

Malia speaks up, "But it wasn't just Tracy. There were the others."

Kennedy nods, "The guys in the masks." She said, looking between them.

Kennedy sat on Stiles's bed, waiting for him as he wrote Tracy Stewart on the board. She pursed her lips, frowning. "Stiles,"

"Yeah," He chirped before turning around. He could see the solemn look on Kennedy's face. "You know I believe you right?"

Kennedy swallowed thickly. "No, you don't get it," She said quietly. "Those things, they weren't the only thing there." Stiles knitted his eyebrows together in confusion, slowly closing the cap of his white marker as he walked towards the girl on the bed. She stood up, causing him to pause his movements. "There was someone else. Someone Malia didn't see or recognize."

Stiles frowned, "Who?" He asked. Kennedy pursed her lips together, struggling to find the words.

"My mom."

Confusion faded over the Stilinski as he saw Kennedy's expression. "You mean-"

"Sloane Valet? Yeah. I saw her. She was there, with the strange men in the masks," She uttered out. Stiles could see the fear on his girlfriends face. "Stiles, I swear, I'm not crazy."

Stiles shakes his head, "Hey, I know," He told her, grabbing her hand. "Listen, I don't know what happened, but if something did happen, we're going to figure it out. Okay?" Kennedy swallowed thickly, nodding slowly. Stiles smiled, leaning over and kissing her lips softly.

"Did you get in to see Lydia?" Scott asked as Stiles and Kennedy came up the stairs with Malia close behind.

"No. We tried using my free period but she's still in the ICU and no one outside family is allowed in." Stiles explained. Kennnedy nodded, running a hand through her hair.

Malia holds up a large book, "We got one thing." She said as she opened the front page reading Bestiary on the front

"Anything in here about half-werewolves, half-Kanimas?" Kira asks, flipping through the pages.

"The Chimera." Scott mumbled.

Stiles looks over, "Um, what?"

Kennedy looks over, "Chimera. It's a creature made of incongruous parts." She explained, everyone slowly turned to look at her. "I took AP Bio last year. I remember."

"Liam said he found two burial sites, which means Tracy's not the only one." Scott explained to them.

"Who's the second Chimera?" Asked Kira.

Stiles adds on, "And why would they bury them?" Kennedy raises a brow, unsure.

"Deaton thinks it's part of their process." Scott explained.

"The people in masks." Malia said quietly. Kennedy looks over, knowing she was right.

Kennedy, Malia, and Stiles all were reading through pages and pages. At least, until Stiles fell asleep. Malia watched her pen clicking back and forth. It reminded her of the needle. Kennedy flipped through a page of her book, talking about the Beast of Geavaudan. She smiled softly, a memory grazing her mind,

Fifteen year old Lydia Martin placed her fork down, "The what of who?" She asked again.

"The Beast of Gevaudan." Allison chirpped,  "Listen." Then Kennedy Stallard ate her salad, watching as Allison leans over. "A quadruped wolf-like monster, prowling the Auvergne and south Dordogne areas of France during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bete killed over a hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louie the 15th sent one of his best hunters to try and kill it." Allison read aloud from the book in her hands.

Lydia shrugged, "Boring."

"Even the church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan."

Lydia hummed, looking at Kennedy. "Still boring." Kennedy shrugged, not sure what the point of the whole thing was.

"Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a mesonychid."

"Slipping into a coma bored." Huffed Lydia.

Allison continued to read. "While others believe it was a powerful sorcerer who could shape - shift into a man-eating monster."

Kennedy pursed her lips, placing her fork down. "Okay, I have to ask." Allison looked up from her book. "What does any of this have to do with your family?"

"This." Allison smiled, looking back down. "It is believed that la Bete was finally trapped and killed by a renown hunter who claimed his wife and four children were the first to fall prey to the creature." Allison perked her head up. "His name was Argent."

Lydia shrugged in confusion, "Your ancestors killed a big wolf. So what?"

Allison shook her head at them. "Not just a big wolf. Take a look at this picture." Allison turned the book, letting it face her two friends. "What does it look like to you?" Lydia visibly tensed up, and Kennedy felt her own hear drop as she looks at it. "Lydia?" Kennedy bit the inside of her cheek, trying not to let out a whimper as she remembered that night at the video store. "Guys."

Lydia and Kennedy snapped out of their moments, and Lydia pursed her lips. "It looks. Like a big. Wolf." She stated bluntly before forcing a smile. "See you in History." Lydia grabbed her things, walking away, leaving her friends behind.

Malia began to gather her stuff, "Hey. I'm taking off." She said. Kennedy looked over, nodding as she ran her hand over her face. "Wake up Stiles and go home." She told her sister. "I'll call you later."

"Night," Kennedy said with a smile as the were coyote walked way. Stiles mumbled something in his sleep. The Hale looked over, rolling her eyes as she pushed his arm. "Stiles, wake up,"

The Stilinski's head snapped up, no longer on the table. "What?" He looked around, licking his lips tiredly. "Where's Malia?"

Kennedy smiled, "Just left," She told him. "Which means we have the library to ourself," Stiles slowly looked up, rubbing his eyes firefly.

"Aside from the construction downstairs, sure," He said. Kennedy rolls her eyes playfully. Stiles looked around, seeing the books upon books.

"Well youre clearly bored out of your mind," Kennedy chimed, leaning on the table. "So maybe we can find a way to make things way more interesting,"

Stiles's eyes connected with Kennedy's. Hazel meeting brown. Kennedy smiled as Stiles stood up, grabbing her hand and tugging her down the isle. Kennedy giggled as he pushed her slightly against the bookshelf. His lips pushed against hers roughly, the girls arms wrapping around his neck. Kennedy giggled as his lips trailed down her jaw, then her neck.

It was the exciting, at least for Kennedy. They were doing what most would classify as scandalous in a public place like this. Stiles's hands shifted down her
waist to her hips. Her fingers etched through his hair, and the girl tugged slightly. Stiles quietly groaned, pulling away from her.

"Ken, if you keep doing that, you know what happens,"

The Hale girl smirked, "I know," She said before pulling him towards her again. Her lips hungrily kissed Stiles's as he pushed her further into the shelf.

Stiles's hands cupped her face, "Maybe," He said i between kisses, "We should get out of here, right?"

Kennedy smiled softly, "Definitely,"

Stiles breathed heavily as he climbed from the backseat of his Jeep into the front. Kennedy followed closely behind, running a hand through her hair.

"God," Stiles chuckled, sitting back slightly. "You sure are persuasive, aren't you?" He asked as he looked over.

Kennedy smiled innocently, "I think I'm just incredibly sexy," Kennedy said finally. Stiles rolled his eyes, grabbing the keys out of his pockets. "And haven't I always said Jeep sex is always way more fun than in your room?"

"Thats because you're not scared about being caught," He told her. Kennedy shrugs, knowing he's right. Stiles moves to start the engine, jumping back when the hood of the Jeep begins to smoke. "Oh, crap," He muttered.

"And back to reality," Kennedy whispered. Stiles cursed under his breath, the couple climbing out of the Jeep. Kennedy held duct tape as Stiles popped open the hood.

Smoke filled the air, causing both teens to cough. Stiles moved around, grabbing the tape from his girlfriend. Neither of them were focused on their surroundings. Why would they be? They were a young couple in love, trying to fix a Jeep before heading home for the night.

So when Stiles feels something seemingly bite into his shoulder, and let out a terrifying scream, Kennedy is shocked when she whips around and sees a random boy she had never seen before in her life.
