Sasuke's POV

I'm lying on my bed thinking of what just happened... After being betrayed by Kakashi... I couldn't get Chisuke out of my mind... how could I? After learning she's my daughter and all... it seems like a dream and the same time a nightmare... being betrayed was the sad part and learning that truth was the opposite of it. I start thinking that I may have a chance to take back what I lost with Naruko.

I'm Chisuke's father... can this mean that I can make things work between Naruko and I? God tell me... Is this a curse to know the truth or a blessing so that I may change our situation...? I'm confused... but before thinking about that... I need to sort things out with Sakura.

I got up in bed and started to get ready. I decided to go to Chisuke's school and visit her...

It was recess time when I arrived and I saw her in the swing alone looking like her mother years before... I walk up to her and said, "Mind if I sit next to you?" she nodded. I sat on the swing next to her and watch her looking at the kids playing around... she looked kind of sad...

"... What seems to be the problem?" I asked,

"... Aren't you Mama's friend?" she asked, I was shocked to know that she knew about me and NAruko being friends,

"Yes... hmm... How did you know?" I asked,

"... Mama always hid a picture of her friends in a small box... I always get curious and so, I secretly looked into that picture once when Mama was busy doing chores... You were there and so, was a pink haired girl... there was also a man who had a mask that covered his mouth, nose and other eye... you looked very happy..." she explained,

"... But why does Mama have a sad face when she looks at it?" She added, I couldn't tell her everything because she was just a child... but although she was just a child, she pays so much attention to the things around her,

"Chisuke... that's your name, right?" I said as if I didn't know,

"Yes, Mister... how about you? What's your name?" she asked innocently,

"My name is Uchiha Sasuke..." I introduced myself, although I wished that I would introduce myself to her as her father but it's not yet the right time...

"Sasuke-san, please forget I asked about earlier... It's just that you were there that it struck me to ask you... I'm sorry... I should just change the topic to something more useful at the moment..." she said,

"What would that be?" I asked curiously,

"What would be a nice gift to give to your father?" she asked,

"Father...?" I was shocked to hear what she just said... she has someone she recognizes as a father... no... no... it must be Iruka...

"What do you say we go around town and look for a decent gift for 'father'?" I suggested, I suddenly noticed Iruka walking towards us,

"Chisuke..." he called out,

"Ahh! Granpa!" Chisuke called out as she runs toward Iruka and hugged him on his legs,

"Iruka..." I said with a hint of anger,

"Sasuke... what are you doing?" Iruka asked,

"Sasuke-san wants to help me find a gift Granpa... can we please go with him through town... pleaseeee... pretty please!! I'll be nice! I promise!" Chisuke begged to come with me,

"I cannot say know to you at all but... I will go with you too," Iruka declared,

"... But Granpa... Sasuke-san is Mama's friend and I want to find it without Mama or your help because you always find it..." Chisuke reasoned,

"I'll bring her home in time for dinner..." I said assuring Iruka,

"okay... But who will pay for the gift?" Iruka asked,

"I will... I am the one who suggested... I will pay for the gift..." I said,

"Okay... But if I knew that a single strand of hair was harmed I won't forgive you," Iruka threatened,

"... I won't let her get her... Believe me... I know you know that..." I said, "... Let's go?" I added,

"YES!" Chisuke happily responded as she grabbed on my hand and started walking...
