Nobody's POV

A redhead, with 'love' written in his left forehead, is watching over the sand village from the rooftop of building. Looking down on the place as it was peaceful. He suddenly remembers a small child he held that was about three years ago, the child had black hair and deep-blue eyes. She was just a toddler then, grabbing her home like there was no tomorrow, and was always smiling so brightly.

The first time he held that child was when she and her mother visited him.

FLASHBACK:

Her mother was carrying her in her arms when they both entered the room. He watched as the child gestures to her mother to let her down which she did. For a four year old, she was still trying not to tumble when walking, and she was walking alright, walking towards the redhead man. She grabbed on his pants and pulled with her strengt, she wanted to be carried by that man. The man lifted the child to his arms and looked at her eyes,

"Pa... papa..." the child said which shocked him,

"Chisuke... that's not your papa..." her mother said with a sad expression, the child started tearing up and gripped on the redhead's shirt,

"Don't cry..." he said as he caresses the child's cheeks, "...until you find your papa... I will be your papa..." he added and the child as if she understood it all hugged him,

END OF FLASHBACK:

After reminiscing, he went back to his office and called on a ninja,

"What is it, Kazekage-sama?" the ninja asked,

"Kano, send a message to the hokage, telling her of my little visit," he ordered, just when the ninja was about to leave, "... And also tell her that I would like to request for Uzumaki Naruko," he added.

A certain hokage is doing her paper works, getting everything in place and finishing every paper that needed approval. The day was just any other day, but suddenly, a ninja came carrying a message for her,

"Hokage-sama, I bring news," the ninja said,

"Hmmm... Is it urgent?" the hokage asked,

"umm... The Kazekage is planning on coming here in Konoha... He didn't mention anything particular that it was urgent or not... I was just sent here to inform you of his visit..." he answered,

"Oh... is that so? When will her arrive then?" Hokage asked,

"The three days from now, Hokage-sama... " He said, "He also requested for Uzumaki Naruko," he added. The hokage raised a brow, confused on why he requested for her, "Okay... I shall have her informed then," and with that the ninja immediately left her office.

"Shizune," the hokage called,

"What is it, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked,

"Have Naruko come here this afternoon, so that I can tell her the news," Tsunade ordered,

"Yes, Tsunade-sama," she said and left the office.

Naruko's POV

I was cleaning the living room while Chisuke was studying. Yes, she was studying. She likes to study and play, more play than study, but today, she had no playmate and so she ended up studying for fun. As a mother, looking at her study makes me proud but the more I look at her, I remember how his father beat me in anything. It makes me happy and sad, but no need to get caught up on the past, my little Chisuke is top in her class, that's a more reason for me to be happy.

Suddenly, someone was knocking on the front door and so; I stopped what I was doing and opened it,

"Iruka-sensei, what brings you here?" I asked. I was curious because it was a Sunday,

"Naruko, the hokage wants you to come by at her office , you can bring little Chisuke... She wished to talk to you about something important," he said,

"Grandpa!" Chisuke suddenly shouted,

"How's my Chisuke?" He asked,

"GooD! I was studying something this Biology book I found in the library and I learned that animals have this certain time where they dance and mate and make babies and..." she said then she became silent,

"Grandpa, where do babies come from?" Chisuke suddenly asked. The two adults sweat dropped and looked at each other,

"Chisuke, would you like to go somewhere with mama?" Naruko asked trying to change the topic opened by her little daughter,

"Really? Where?" She said as her eyes sparkled with delight gaining a sigh of relief from both the adults in front of her,

"We're going to Tsunade-sama, the hokage... because she wants to talk with your mama," Iruka said. The child nodded and ran to their room to change,

"That was a close call," Iruka stated,

"That's why I hate it when she studies... She lands on landmines for us," Naruko said. "Take a seat... We will be ready in five minutes..." she added and left the living room to join her overly excited child.

After an hour of trying to dress Chisuke, we left the apartment and went to the Obaa-san.

I knocked on the door to the Hokage's office, "Come in," a voice said coming from the inside. I opened the door and saw Obaa-san sitting in her chair, looking at me.

"Ahh... Naruko... good you're here... " She said in relief, when suddenly Chisuke came running inside the office and greeted, "Hello again! Granma-Tsu!"

"Granma-Tsu?" I mumbled confused on the nickname my child suddenly said,

"Hello, Chisuke... How are you? Have you been a good girl?" Tsunade asked. Chisuke nodded and ran towards her and hugged the Hokage,

"I was a good girl! I was first in my class! And..." Chisuke said, "Granma? Where do babies come from?" Again Chisuke opened that topic. Tsunade smiled and faced me,

"Naruko... it seems the Kazekage will be coming to visit..." Tsunade said, trying to change the subject,

"Eh? Gaara?" I said, confused,

"EH! PAPA GAARA IS COMING!" Chisuke suddenly shouted, "Mama, what do I do?! Papa is coming and I don't have anything to give him... Mama, help me!" Chisuke said with her eyes filling up with tears,

"Calm down, Chisuke..." I said, "... When will he arrive?" I asked,

"Three days from now... He specially requested for you... Do you know why?" Tsunade asked. Everyone noticed Chisuke stiffening in the corner,

"Chisuke? What's wrong?" Shizune asked,

"Shizune-san, Help me! Papa is coming... and I don't have a gift for him..."Chisuke was crying now,

"...Well... since Chisuke was around three or four years old, I came to the sand village visiting the Kazekage for old time's sake... And one thing lead to another, Gaara said that he will be her papa for the time being... Now, Chisuke sees him as her real Papa," Naruko explained,

"What does that have to do with gifts?" Iruka asked,

"Well... Gaara always gave her gifts when we visited, and if he visits she gives him a gift too... For us, it may be a small thing but... to Chisu-" I was cut off by Chisuke,

"...It's a way to show our appreciation... But Chisuke wasn't prepared this time... that's why... Mama please help me...," She said, as she swipes her tears with her hands,

"Okay, okay... Let's buy a gift then... We still have three days," I said, "... Gaara must have informed you earlier, so that, Chisuke can prepare her gifts," I added.

"Mama, let's go!" Chisuke shouted as she pulls me out of the office,

"ahh... Umm... Excuse us," I said as I bow to give respect to the Hokage, and left...
