| Continuation from last time |
She was just sitting there, heavy breathing and tears flowing down her cheeks. A hard 'bang!' filled the silence, she had thrown an empty dye-can against the wall.
"Ugly... Ugly..." She was scratching her fur, hurting herself. Without thinking you hurried over to her and grabbed her arm, she looked at you.
Now you were close you could see it, her once purple fur was now a white color, with small spots of caramel. She tried pulling her arm back, but you held on.
"You shouldn't be hurting yourself, Bunny." She stood up and frustratedly yelled at you. "You know nothing! You don't look like this do you?!" Her eyes filled with tears once again.
You looked at her, bewildered. She wasn't bad looking at all. "What do y—-" "Your momma never told you, you looked like shit did she?! Never shamed you for being you, you were given the love of your family, the thing I NEVER GOT!" She cried even harder and sat down on the bench again, she hiccuped before continuing. "My momma judged me for everything, she hated me—- She always have, same with my papa, THEY JUST LOVED HER!"
Whatever had happened to her had been traumatic, you never thought you would say this but, you felt bad for her, like genuinely bad.
"Why did you take my attention? Y-You're not even that s-stunning!" She yelled, the pieces fell into place.
"You've been neglected by your parents haven't you?" She grabbed her stuff and raced to the door only to stop, she cried out of frustration.
You placed your hand on her shoulder, she pushed it away.
"Listen, I'll go buy some dye for you alright?" Her eyes showed great confusion, she then laughed a painful laugh. "You'll give me hope just to take it away won't you?! Just like everyone else!" You stuck out your hand. "I promise. And I don't break promises." She shook it, she couldn't leave anyway.
You ran to the nearest store and bought some purple dye. You gave the cashier your money and returned to the locker room.
She was standing in the mirror splashing herself with some water, more dye seemed to disappear.
You looked at her confused, didn't she want to keep on the dye? "I have to wash it off before I can add a new layer." You nodded and handed her the dye, she placed it on the bench and went into the bathroom to wash everything off her.
When she returned with a towel around her, you saw her real fur. Her fur was much more beautiful than it was five minutes ago.
You stood up to leave. "Thanks, I guess." You turned around and looked her dead in the eye, you spoke with a serious tone. "Your old fur was much prettier than the dyed version." She froze for a second, then she continued dyeing her fur.
| At home | 4 P.M. |
Your phone didn't want to shut up, so eventually you had shut it off completely. You felt guilty, but you didn't want to hurt their feelings even more.
A knock came from downstairs, you reluctantly made your way to the door.
You opened and saw, UT!Sans. You didn't say anything, neither did he. Until a sigh came from him, he looked at you with a pitiful expression. "Listen, I have no idea what's going on in that intelligent brain of yours, but I'm willing to help you." Your grip on the door tightened and you looked at him with a tired expression, you opened the door fully and let him in.
You sat down in your sofa and he sat in the chair next to you, you pulled your legs close and began petting Ayumu who laid next to you.
"Your own private therapist, can't get much better than that, huh?" A snort erupted from you followed by chuckles. "No, guess not." You shrugged grinning, a more serious expression fell over his face.
"Kid. What is going on?" You shifted uncomfortably in your seat. "Nightmares, it's always the same. I float underwater feeling like I'm suffocating but I can breathe. I'm unable to move, a crystal clear pearl is in front of me. And every time I'm dying.
And it feels so real, I wake up every hour or so, then I can't fall asleep for half an hour or more." When you stopped rambling you noticed that Sans had moved next to you, massaging your back. Making you feel more comfortable telling your story, it was nice.
"I've had close to the same dreams as you, it's just me inside the pearl. I'm the one who dies." He said, he pulled something out of his pocket. "Don't worry it's not drugs, it's Klinte. It stops the terrors, stops the nightmares.
You just have to take a fingertip of it into your drink at night." He showed you some dark blue powder. "Can I—-?" "Sure" You responded quicker than he could question, you pulled out a glass of cold water and Sans mixed the two together.
"Make sure the powder has completely evaporated, it should taste of (favorite/taste)." You smiled and downed it, it made you feel relieved.
"How did you know to bring this?" He pointed to the bags under your eyes and responded with: "Figured it was either bad nights sleep or nightmares." 'Smart' You responded with, you say down on the couch and Sans turned of the TV.
All the missed sleep soon caught up to you and you slowly drifted into a nice slumber.
