I groaned and turned around, putting a pillow over my face, trying to tune out the beeping of my alarm. The leaves outside were losing color and you could hear the whooshing of the breeze outside. I sat up and let my feet dangle out over the bedside.
Ayumu was still asleep and laying on top of my blanket, I pat her head carefully to not wake her up. I stretched and walk down the stairs to get to the kitchen. I made some (Breakfast) and sat down on my couch, I turned on the TV and watched the news.
Ayumu crawled up next to me and looked at me, I quickly finished my food and filled up her bowl. She meowed and began eating. I walked upstairs, into the bathroom and took a bath, after that I put on some clothes.
I looked at the clock. "5 minutes until the bus comes. I'll see you soon Ayumu!" I grabbed an umbrella and walked out the door. It was already raining, today was going to be a gloomy day. I walked over to the bus stop and waited, soon enough the bus arrived. I sat down next to Fresh and said hi.

I sat down at my seat, sadly it was the furthest away from the window. A substitute came in, she asked everyone to sit down at their desk. She was pretty young, early twenties at most. "Alright class, we'll start with names." She went around asking our names, we had several rounds before she could most of our names. She seemed to have a hard time with my name, which was fine by me.
Except when she called for me, the words she used: "Cat girl" "Hey you with the cat ears" She even insisted on calling me kitty once or twice, but I nicely rejected the name.
Mid in she called me again: "Hey kitty? Are you paying attention?" I was getting pissed by now, I had rejected the names over and over again. "Please, do not call me 'kitty', it is not my name nor' will it ever be. It's a pet's name, and I am not a pet." She whispered under her breath, and I heard it very clearly. "You have the same features as a pet... Jesus Christ..." I rose up from my seat, and the class turned to look at me. I walked over to the door and opened it. "Excuse kitty! Where do you think you're going?" The class laughed and I could feel she was amused. I opened the door and slammed it behind me.
I heard someone yell at the substitute and heard the door open and being slammed. It was... "Bunny?" She stood in front of me and crossed her arms. "You should've called her out for her bullshit. That bitch said you were just like a pet!" My eyes widened: "You heard that...?" She nodded. "I can't fucking believe it! Just because you have some features like that, you shouldn't be called a kitty! I don't like it when people call me a 'rabbit' or a 'bunny', it's actually racist against monster kind!" She was getting pretty worked up at this point, before I could get a word out, she cut me off. "I told that bitch she could fuck right of with her racism, don't take that kind of shit next time, okay?" She walked around me and down the hallway.
"Did she just... Stand up for me..?"
