3-School
kay this song is my baby- the chorus kills me in a good way
Language and self-hatrid warning~
(listen to it when said)
Sara walked the half-mile to school (with a quick stop at her favorite cafe) without being picked on. This was wonderful news because she always got attacked on her way. She was sure Tyler and Brendon were probably planning something spectacular to make up for lost time. She briskly walked into the school and got to her first class successfully. You would think that would lead to relieve because no one was hurt, but this meant that Tyler and Brendon (sometimes others) were doing something big later on when she couldn't clean her wounds fast enough. Her mother couldn't see her like that.
Sara ended up not paying attention at all that day. Throughout all of her classes.
During lunch, she ate in the bathroom, as usual, because everyone would make fun of her for sitting alone. She usually listened to her favorite music now, but of course, she forgot her earphones. Her day was going so great right now. She could talk to the guidance counselor, but Sara has been doing that a bit too often recently, and she doesn't want to ruin their relationship. Sara slowly walked out of the bathroom, peeking around the corner of the hall.
"Hey! Sara! we're over here!" Brendon ran over, laughing. He was the one to do most of the talking, while Tyler was a bit quiet. Tyler could beat someone up though.
"Shoot..." Sara whispered, looking to find an exit.
"Not now, honey," Brendon purred. "Today, we've got something big planned. All of our friends are going to meet you."
"W-What?" Tyler questioned. He looked like he didn't know that there were others involved.
"Yup. I just decided."
"I gotta go..." Sara slipped out of Brendon's line of sight and ran down the hall. She looked like she was running for her life, and considering what they might do to her, she might've been.
"No running in the halls, Ms. Vick!" Mr. Way yelled after her. She kept running. She never got successfully away from Brendon and Tyler before.
She could still hear their voices behind her though.
"Tyler! Why'd you let her get away??"
"Bren, we've always been mean to her, let's try to be nice for once. I read that bullies are known for bullying to cover up their insecurities and-"
"Shut up, you nerd! Who reads anymore?"
"I'm done, Brendon. Seriously. This is ridiculous. The entire basketball team hates me for what I do to other kids, and I really need that scholarship -Because you make me ditch class so much- and I don't know about you, but I want a life after high school. You'll probably end up being somebody's drug dealer or some shit like that."
"Nice speech, dimwit. Now get out of my sight before I knock you out."
"No problem, Breadbin."
"Whatever."
Sara kind of thought that Tyler would win the argument until she heard a punch and a slam. Thanks anyway, Tyler.
Sara went home, knowing that she was probably safe since she was ditching her classes. She doesn't like ditching but the school does not care at all.
She made it home safe and plopped onto her bed and put in her earphones. She played her favorite song, 888.
-Play the song-
She loved this song for many reasons, but one of the most important reasons is one of the verses. It was:
"I'm trapped in my tiny human brain, and it's killing me but I'm fine, yeah, I'm alright- if I move my hands fast enough I won't die."
Sara relates a lot to this verse. Sometimes she feels like her brain is too small for her head, and how it hurts a lot to think.

Tyler's POV (Kinda sorta)
(Sorry I took so long to get to his I needed to think of a scenario for him. :(. )
Tyler had to drag himself out of bed that morning. He hated school.
He hated his friends.
He hated himself.
These were normal thoughts for him on Monday mornings, but today they hit extra hard. His mom walked in while he was having an inner war whether or not to go to school.
"Honey, time to get up," She said in her sickly sweet voice.
"Fuck off, mom."
"Honey-"
"Mom. I love you, but today is not the day to push me. I may or may not go to school. I don't care about your opinion in this discussion." Tyler sighed, trying to be somewhat reasonable. He wasn't great at that either.
"Whatever son. I'm going to make breakfast. If you aren't up by the time I'm done cooking, you're grounded for a week." She was now bitting her nails.
"Fine. Whatever."
Tyler slunk out of bed and got dressed in his usual black sweatshirt, black ripped jeans, and, of course, his black vans. He grabbed his close to empty backpack. He barely ever did his homework (unless it was music class-he always did all the work for that class) so there was a bunch of undone homework assignments and his philosophy book. He was always interested in that. It confused him a bit, but he thought it was pretty cool.
He skipped down the stairs, shouting goodbye to his mom as he slammed the door. He usually took the bus with Brendon, but today was not the day to get into trouble with Brendon. Tyler was gonna ditch him like he's been wanting to for.. 3 years maybe? Well, as long as they had been hurting that poor girl. He decided to walk.
Sam, he thinks her name is.
Maybe Sammy? Or Sunny?
He doesn't remember. Whatever.
He's already decided how he was going to apologize to whatever her name is.
five minutes later~~
Tyler walked into school, two hours late as per usual. Brendon rams into him, making him flinch.
"Dude! I thought you ditched me!"
Planning on it, he thought.
"N-No.. Why would I do such a t-thing?"
Damn. Wow. What a great actor. I should be paid for this.
"Whatever, bro." Brendon laughed. "You need to work on your social skills."
"Y-yeah.."
Tyler saw what's her face dash into her next class. He let her pass. He didn't want to get even deeper into the 'bad guy' list. Whatever that means. Tyler made it up.
Tyler walked away from Brendon into the library. He knew Brendon would never go into the library.
He made his way to the back table where a boy around his age sat. The thing that caught Tyler's attention though, was his neon yellow hair. We're talking highlighter levels here.
Tyler decided not to talk, but to get him to start the conversation.
So he coughed. The short boy flinched. He was very into his book.
The boy looked like he had seen a ghost.
"T-T-Tyler Joseph..." The boy squeaked out.
"That's me." Tyler sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I-I-I got to go.." He muttered, before quickly grabbing his bookbag and slipping out of the room.
"Wow. I sure am great at first impressions." He muttered to himself.
