~Twilight Sparkle POV~

Once we were out of the shop, Spike stopped me. 

"What was that about?" He stared at me with a mix of worry and confusion. I gulped and tried to keep walking. 

"Twilight Sparkle." Spike rarely used my full name. I sighed and stopped walking. 

"We'll talk when we get home,  but promise me you won't tell ANYONE, not mom,  not dad,  not even Shining!" I trust Spike with my life.  He just gets me.  He's my best friend. 

Spike nodded slowly. I can see the worry growing on his face.  I tighten my grip on his hand.  The walk felt like an eternity, but we finally reached our home. I rushed him to my room and shut the door.

"Spike..." I look into his green eyes, gripping his hands. He squeezes back.

"I think I like girls!" I break out into sobs. He holds me as I dive into his arms.

"Oh, Twilight.." he whispered. His voice is comforting. He really is the best.

"A-Aren't you upset with me? You know how Shining wants me to find my 'prince'.." I wipe my face furiously with my sleeve.

"You're still Twilight no matter what!" He said," A-And besides, I have no place to anything.."

It's quiet. "What do you mean?" I pull away to face him.

"Let's just say I wouldn't mind if I found a princess or a prince..." He grins shyly.

I feel less alone. I'm smiling. I'm laughing. I'm hugging him again. He's laughing too. We don't even know why. Coming out to Spike was hard, even though I know him better than anyone and knew he'd react positively. I wasn't expecting him to come out, but I feel closer to him than ever. We hug for a long time.

He pulls away, " Now, c'mon, Twi!" He pushes me playfully.

"Hm?" I cock my head.

"Text your girl!" He sticks his tongue between his gapped teeth, as he stands up to head to his own room. I roll my eyes.

He waves to me as he walks out,"Tell me how it goes!"
