Sasha and Darcy's clash quickly broke with Darcy eventually swinging her sword, blasting Sasha with a vortex of orange energy.

The Toad Queen was sent flying, crashing into the wall. She grunted before throwing her hammer like a boomerang and summoning a pair of dual swords as she charged at Darcy.

Darcy sliced the hammer in half before charging, and the two quickly engaged in a sword fight. Pink and orange energy clashed again and again before Darcy uppercutted Sasha and then headbutted her with her horns.

Sasha crashed back onto the floor, but flew back up and slashed again and again, only to be knocked down again. Darcy would continue to knock Sasha down over and over, but The Toad Queen would refuse to stay down.

Darcy flew up in the air before seeing Anne's unconscious body and then blasting at it, but Sasha defended her friend and slashed the beam, effectively deflecting it.

"I have darkened galaxies! And when you are all destroyed, the darkness will envelop everyone!" Darcy boomed, blasting at Sasha again.

Sasha turned one of her swords into a shield and blocked the beam. She then laughed. "S-So, that's your plan? To make everything dark?! We'll survive!"

Darcy grinned. "Oh, no! Once you and Heart are dead? The darkness will envelop EVERYONE until they are one with it! Everything will be The Night!!!"

Sasha growled as she pushed back against Darcy and then charged, pushing the beam until Darcy stopped firing.

Darcy then used her telekinesis to slam Sasha back down. She blasted at Anne again with her laser eyes, only for Sasha to somehow block it again.

Sasha breathed heavily before she turned her sword and shield into a single hammer and lunged at Darcy one more time, smashing it across her face and then kicking her onto the floor.

Darcy caught herself with her mechanical arms before she could hit the ground. She then shot her mechanical arms at Sasha, who started smashing or slashing at them.

Sasha knew she wouldn't be able to win, she just had to keep Darcy occupied long enough for Anne to free Marcy. She just hoped she'd be able to hold her off for that long.

Darcy then unleashed a devastating storm of green energy arrows, firing them at Sasha. One of them grazed her shoulder and she cried out in pain, only to get hit by one in her other shoulder. Sasha panted before grabbing the arrow and ripping it out.

Sasha then SLAMMED her hammer down, creating a massive shockwave that even sent Darcy stumbling before she flew up again and sent out blasts of orange energy. Sasha flew all across the room at super speed, deflecting or turning her hammer into a sword and slashing them.

Darcy then finally blasted Sasha down onto the ground again, flying right above her. "Don't get up. It's for your own good."

Sasha refused to obey, raising her arm, only to be blasted back down. She tried again, but was then slashed. She tried again and again, and no matter what Darcy did, she would keep trying to get back up.

Darcy snarled. "YOU REALLY ARE JUST LIKE NOVA AND KATHERINE." 

Sasha got back to her feet after so many attempts, now PULSING with pink energy. Her voice than overlapped with two again. "BECAUSE I AM THEM. AND I'LL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT MY FRIENDS AND STOP YOU!!!"

Darcy clenched her fist before blasting at Sasha again.

Sasha tumbled, but flew back up...her hand suddenly turned completely pink, and it was spreading to her arm. "I WILL NEVER GIVE UP UNTIL YOU'RE THE ONE FALLING!!!"

Darcy's eyes widened at the sight of Sasha's entire body turning pink...just like Nova's celestial form. She blasted again, and Sasha came crashing down. But that's when the pink energy completely enveloped Sasha, and her eyes and mouth were now white.

"YOU'RE BURNING AS MUCH AS I SHINE!!!" Sasha boomed, feeling more powerful than ever before as she zoomed over to Darcy and uppercutted her high into the air.

Darcy was sent flying right through the ceiling and into the dark sky. Sasha flew right after her, but then turned around and to the side of her flying castle.

Then? With ALL her strength, she began pushing the castle away. She knew once Anne broke Marcy free, the castle wouldn't be able to fly without The Green Gem. And the more and more she pushed? The sky began to light up again with a bright pink color.

Darcy growled and zoomed down, punching Sasha into a building and then blasting her.

Sasha suddenly unleashed her own blast, the two beams of energy colliding. Darcy's beam overpowered Sasha's in seconds and their fight continued. While Sasha's new celestial form made her more powerful than ever?

It wasn't enough. Only The Three Stars, burning brighter than ever before, could expel The Night.

In the hivemind, Anne and Marcy lunged at The Core, punching and attacking it. But The Core didn't budge and instead blasted the two of them away from each other.

Marcy landed on the endless orange void, where the darkness from The Core began spreading and grabbing her wrists and ankles. Marcy screamed, trying to break free as she glowed a bright green.

"MARCY!!!" Anne screamed, but her leg was grabbed by The Core and then slammed down into the orange void. She growled and flew high up before zooming over to Marcy, suddenly blasting her free with blue energy.

Marcy flew up quickly and then lunged at The Core, punching it in its center eye. The Core roared in pain, backing up. Marcy growled, remembering all the torture she had gone through during the transfer. She then summoned a sword into her palm and slashed all of The Core's eyes.

The Core ROARED in agony, and then Anne slashed it in the back. All the minds of The Core screamed in unison.

Anne then flew next to Marcy and looked at her. "...I love you." She breathed.

Marcy's eyes widened before she held Anne's hand, the two of them now glowing a bright cyan. "I-I love you too."

They then both looked right at The Core and flew high in the air. They started to shine brighter and brighter before ZOOMING like a shooting star towards The Core. At super speed, they went right through The Core's shadowy and orange body.

It ROARED and suddenly disappeared.

"HAHA!" Anne cried, cheering. "WE DID IT!!!"

Marcy cheered as well before she felt a bit weaker. Darcy was using her powers in the real world. She looked at Anne before holding her hand tightly. "L-Let's get out of here."

Anne squeezed Marcy's hand even tighter. "Let's save the world is more like it, Mar-Mar."

Marcy nodded before she let go of Anne's hand and flew to the center of the void. Green energy quickly enveloped her. Her white eyes then snapped open, with green pupils forming in them. She then SCREAMED, powering up with more and more green energy.

Anne watched in awe before she looked around. The darkness of the orange void began to fade away, almost BURN away in green flames. And even the void itself began cracking.

Marcy kept powering up until she finally saw an opening. She zoomed right over to it and then punched it with all her might. In a single punch, the orange void SHATTERED.

Outside, Darcy felt this. The 11th eye on her helmet disappeared, and the Green Gem completely SHATTERED. She gasped and suddenly, orange energy began pulsing and wisping right out of her body like lightning bolts.

Darcy SCREAMED an unholy roar before all the orange eyes on her helmet disappeared and she fell right out of the air.

Sasha turned back from her celestial form to her normal form, quickly flying after her. But a blue blur zoomed in and caught Darcy's body.

It was Anne, who landed on the road around the dark city. There was groans coming from...Marcy. Anne gasped and set Marcy down on the ground. "M-Marcy?!"

Sasha zoomed over. "MARCY!!!"

Marcy looked around. "S-Sasha...? A-Anne...?" She grabbed her helmet. "I...I can only see black! At least it's not orange."

Anne felt hope surge within her heart, knowing this wasn't Darcy pulling a trick if she mentioned the orange void.

Marcy then RIPPED off the mask she had on around her mouth, and her helmet followed soon after. The orange eye on her forehead had completely disappeared and her teeth were no longer fangs. Her hair glowed a bright green...but? It illuminated a most likely permanent side effect.

She had two, tiny little horns. One on each side of her head. Styled the same way as Darcy's helmet, but they were barely noticeable and in fact? She looked adorable.

Sasha and Anne didn't notice for even a second and tackle hugged Marcy, quickly beginning to cry again. Their eyes probably hurt from all the tears they had lately.

Marcy realized what was happening and began to laugh and cry at the same time, hugging both her crush and best friend tightly as she sobbed. "A-ANNE!!! SASHA!!!"

Awwww, how sweet!

They cried and cried for what felt like ever until Anne suddenly kissed Marcy's lips straight out of nowhere. Marcy's eyes widened and her face went blood red when she processed this was reality and not her fantasy. But she melted into the kiss.

Sasha's eyes went wide and her jaw dropped. 'WHEN DA HELL DID TIS HAPPEN?'

Anne deepened the kiss a bit, while Marcy wrapped her arms around Anne's neck. Sasha, realizing everything was still dark, pulled Anne and Marcy apart.

"The Core's still alive!" Sasha exclaimed.

Marcy blinked. "Oh! R-Right!"

Anne cleared her throat, looking to the side.

That's when there was a rumble, and Darcy's armor suddenly and forcefully peeled itself off of Marcy's body. Thankfully, she had some kind of aquatic suit underneath, a suit she wore before The Core transferred itself into her.

The rumble grew louder before the helmet and mask reformed itself and then attached to the empty armored suit. The glowing orange eyes formed on the helmet before The Core let out a mechanical screech. Its body was suddenly enveloped in pure orange energy. It's shape now remained the same, but with a completely orange color. The only thing truly visible were The Core's orange and yellow eyes.

"YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING, STARS." The Core boomed, a cape forming on his back as he flew higher and higher into the air. And sure enough, the castle CONTINUED to fly higher and higher. Looks like it didn't need The Calamity Gems anymore.

Sasha narrowed her eyes at the castle, seeing her Rebellion hop out of it and to safety. She then looked at The Core.

NOW was the final fight.

The Core powered up with dark orange energy and BLASTED The Three Stars, sending them flying across the city. He then grabbed Anne by the neck, choking her and beginning to strangle her.

"I WILL CRUSH YOU...I WILL SKEWER YOU...I WILL TEAR YOU APART!!!" The Core boomed, grabbing Anne's arm and beginning to pull.

Anne screamed in pain until she was saved by Marcy, with Sasha punching The Core. The Core slid across the air, but didn't go very far.

Sasha then cracked her fists. "Like I said...YOU'RE DONE." She said, suddenly turning into her Celestial Form again.

Anne's eyes went wide and Marcy gasped. "Whoa...! She looks like her first incarnation!"

"You knew about this?!?" Anne exclaimed. "...HUH?!"

Marcy hummed. "It's like this form is getting truly in touch with our last incarnations...hang on!" She exclaimed, closing her eyes for a moment. She began to glow a brighter and brighter green until? Her body was a complete green, with only her mouth and eyes being white. Like in the orange void.

She flew next to Sasha, their green and pink energies merging together for a moment.

Anne smirked before closing her eyes as well. She heard Andromeda and Heart's voices all over again in her head before she screamed, her whole body turning blue and her eyes and mouth matching her friends'. She flew right beside Sasha and Marcy, her blue energy mixing with theirs.

The Core growled. "CELESTIAL FORMS OR NOT, YOU DO NOT HAVE THEIR STRENGTH."

"Maybe not. But this is definitely enough to take you out!" Anne screamed as The Three Stars lunged at The Core.

The Core charged as well, and they all clashed in a giant STORM of power.

They started fighting all throughout the air. The Core blasted all kinds of orange beams while Marcy and Sasha deflected them. Anne made her entire ARM a sword and slashed The Core across the face.

The Core flew higher into the air, blasting Anne away from him before uppercutting Marcy and then kicking Sasha. Marcy then spun around into a green twister, hitting The Core over and over again before she stopped spinning and blasted him right in the face.

Sasha grabbed The Core's leg as it was sent flying and threw him even farther across the air. Only for Anne to smash him back down.

The Core flew back up, blasting all Three Stars with his laser eyes. Anne and Sasha were hit, but Sasha then got in front of them with her shield, deflecting the beam into the dark sky.

Anne then zoomed over, suddenly sidekicking The Core right in his cheek. The Core cried out, blue and orange power zooming across the dark sky. Anne shined brighter, and the dark sky slowly turned a dark blue, but turned back to pitch black soon after.

The Core flew across the sky, but he stopped himself and growled as he powered himself up. He then teleported over to Anne, but Sasha teleported as well. The two punched at each other, both of their fists colliding and sending a massive rumble throughout the sky.

Flying throughout the air, Sasha and The Core began punching, blasting, and kicking each other at super speed. The Core then broke their clash and lunged at Sasha, only for her to kick him in the stomach and higher into the air.  Sasha flew up, smashing him back down, but The Core grabbed her fists and headbutted her with his horns and then blasted her with his laser eyes. He then spun around, rapidly kicking her in the back and sending her away. 

Marcy then zoomed over, punching The Core across the face and then blasting him away with all her might. Marcy powered herself up more and zoomed over to The Core, punching him in the cheek and sending him even FARTHER away. Marcy kept flying after him, punching him again and again.

Anne then flew over and kicked The Core high into the sky. Marcy gave a thumbs up before she and Anne flew high into the air, with Sasha following behind.

The Core growled before facing right across from him where The Three Stars waited. He powered up a GIANT blast and threw it at them.

The Three Stars launched and then combined their own blasts, throwing it at The Core's and causing a giant explosion that actually DISPERSED the darkness in the sky.

The Core and The Three Stars zoomed at each other as colorful blurs, colliding and zooming around the sky like shooting stars. The Core then grabbed one of the blurs, Sasha, and punched her downwards. He then slammed his fist into her stomach and finally smashed her down.

Marcy zoomed over, throwing a green vortex of energy right at The Core and sending him flying across the dark sky.

The Core breathed heavily, orange energy pulsing out of him like thunder and lightning.

Sasha flew back up to her allies, all three of them breathing heavily as they stared each other down.

"I-I thought you said all three of us could kill him..." Anne breathed.

Sasha panted. "A-Apparently...i-it just gets e-easier."

Marcy stared down at The Core before raising herself. "We gotta finish this!"

"Right!" Anne and Sasha said in unison. The Three Stars then zoomed at The Core, with The Core lunging at them.

They clashed again as all of their power and energies collided. But the moment they DID collide...they teleported in unison.

They suddenly teleported into a realm of all kinds of creatures...and overall weirdness. The Three Stars pulled back, with The Core doing the same.

"W...What is this place?!" Sasha exclaimed, blasting some kind of chattering teeth monster into oblivion. 

The Core growled. "The Nightmare Realm...nearly all of your world's anomalies come from this place. It's ruled by a being from the Second Dimension."

Marcy was about to geek out with questions before their fight continued. Marcy and Anne blasted at The Core, with The Core crossing his arms to just barely shield himself from the blasts. Sasha joined in the blast, and that teleported them AGAIN.

They were then surrounded in a realm with a hurricane of slowly moving spirits moaning and groaning. They were also right next to some kind of jury stand, with a high chair in the middle.

"Ghost Realm, I take it!" Anne said, blasting rapidly at The Core.

The Core deflected them all before GRABBING the jury stand and throwing it at The Three Stars.

Marcy and Sasha zoomed around it, slicing it in half as they and Anne lunged at The Core, clashing with him as they teleported once again.

They then landed in a bleak and cloudy place, with people talking down below as they fought in the sky. The Core punched Marcy across the face before unleashing a storm of orange energy at The Three Stars.

Anne and Sasha dodged before Anne flew down to some kind of circular red and black device that looked very similar to a broken globe. She got under it and lifted it high into the air.

The people below watched Anne in shock, especially some kind of armored buzzard wielding a golden sword. He had...duck people as hostages.

Anne blinked. "I'm, uhh, gonna borrow this!" She cried, flying into the air and throwing the device at The Core.

The Core shot the device into millions of pieces. All four of them clashed, once again teleporting away.

They then appeared in a bright and sunny city. They flew around, with Sasha punching The Core into a very strange shaped building.

Anne narrowed her eyes, the building seemed to be a company. She read aloud. "D...Doof...uhhh..."

"Doofensmhirtz Evil Incorporated?" Marcy asked, scratching her head.

Sasha shrugged. "I guess there's corporations for evil in this universe?"

The Core then lunged at them, grabbing them all and teleporting into another universe.

Their fight lasted for what felt like hours, with every punch or blast or kick they pulled transporting them to another universe. At one time, they were just in an unknown region of space.

But finally, they were back in their darkened city. The Core was weak, but he kept roaring and blasting.

"IT'S...OVER!!!" Anne screamed, lunging at The Core and SLICING off all four of his horns.

The Core roared in pain, but was then kicked across the face by Marcy. And finally, blasted high up into the air by Sasha.

The Three Stars then flew just as high as him, surrounding him as they glowed brighter and brighter. That's when green, pink, and blue energy wisps came from their glow and tied The Core's wrists and ankles.

The Core growled and screamed, thrashing around like a wild animal inside of a cage. Unlike the first time they killed him, he did not make a vow he would return. He knew this was his end, but was desperately trying to escape.

Anne powered up to her highest, with Marcy and Sasha following. Anne then lifted her hands and unleashed a devastating blast. Marcy did the same after, and then so did Sasha. All the blasts combined and hit The Core.

The Core ROARED in neverending agony as its body began to burn and dissipate into pure ash. Its orange energy left its body completely, and its armor finally shattered. The spirit of The Night and the over minds it stole all roared in pain before The Three Stars increased their blasts. There was an unholy sound heard around the entire city that could be cemented in history...before there was sweet silence.

The darkness COMPLETELY faded and the light returned in minutes to the entire globe. The Frobots, having lost their master, began falling through the sky, losing power immediately. 

The Palace began to fall as well, but The Three Stars quickly zoomed under it and caught it. They then carried it over to the nearest ocean and set it down. They then flew high into the sky, processing what they had just done.

Anne left her Celestial Form unwillingly, with Sasha and Marcy following soon after. They still remained floating in the air, completely silent. But then? Sasha began to laugh hysterically.

"WE...WE DID IT!!!" Sasha cheered, tears in her eyes from all the joy she was feeling.

Marcy and Anne began to laugh with her, hugging each other, and then forcing Sasha to join in the hug.

"I-I LOVE YOU ALL!!!" Marcy screamed for the world to hear, hugging her crush and best friend, laughing with pure joy like she was a little girl again.

The last incarnations failed to destroy The Night. But after millennia...The Three Stars emerged victorious.
