Astrid's Pov

I was walking home while thinking about Professor Vanessa's Offer, about me having a scholarship.

Half of me wanted to take it, since I've always wanted to go to college, but half of me doesn't want to, cause who will take care of my mom, who will go and do the works to earn money, my mom can't do that, since she isn't allowed to do a lot of work because of her heart.

I was thinking very deeply when I didn't realized I'm already standing in front of our small house.

I sighed and went inside taking off my jacket, and called for my mom, I went to the kitchen and saw her reading some newspaper.

Her name is Olivian Hofferson she had blonde hair and blue eyes like mine.

"Hey mom, how's your day?" I greeted and kissed her cheeks

"same as usual, reading and cleaning some small stuff"

"Oh if that's the case then, do you have a time to talk"
I asked when I remembered the scholarship

"Sure Honey what is it?"

"You see I've always wanted to go to college right?"

My mom sighed and looked at me in the eyes

"I know honey, and I'm sorry if mommy can't give you what you want.. I promised to you since you were born I will give you everything you want, but, I can't give you the chance to go to college because we don't have enough money and now you have to work 24/7 in the age of 18"

I just smiled at her and took her hands.

"Mom, you being with me safe and sound is more than enough, I don't want to grow up being a freaking spoiled brat, and the reason why I brought this topic up.. is because ..." I stopped for a moment and looked at her in the eyes

" there was a Professor who offered me a scholarship, and she said they will be taking care of all my needs"

I said and she smiled at me

"Really?! Oh god baby, this is amazing what did you say then?"

"I said I will think about for now, and Tomorrow I will meet her again at the café"

"Astrid Honey, take the scholarship, I trust you, this is your chance to go to college, your father will be so happy for you if he's still here" She said happily but her voice became low at the last part.

You see, my father died when I was just 8 months old, he died in an accident.

"I will mom, but how about you, who will take care of your needs and medicine"

"Honey don't worry about me, I can do little things in my life that can help us earn money, and our neighbor Emilia will be helping me to find a suitable work for me, I'm only 45 years old don't be too over dramatic and just take the offer" my mom said.

I smiled to her and nod,

"Okay I will take it, but promise me you won't do hard works, I don't want to lose my lovely caring mother" I said  and both of us laugh

"I will honey, besides I don't want to leave my princess alone" She said and I chuckle

"So before we end this convo. What  kind of school you'll be taking?"

I stopped for a moment and tried to remember the school Professor Vanessa have told me

"I don't quite remember I think its Berk's? Star? Acadia? , or something or Berk's Mega star?I don't really remember but the Professor said it was a school for unique people"

I said to her since I don't really remember the name of the school.

I looked at her and the smile she had a while ago fade away, making me confused, "Mom, is there something wrong?"

"The school you're going.. Is it called...Berk's Super Star Academy?" she asked.

"Right, Berk's Super Star Academy, how did you knew that? I've never heard a school like that here in Berk"

"Astrid, take that scholarship, don't waste it, this is a perfect opportunity for you and to us.."

My mom said excitedly, and I'm getting confused since I didn't expect this kind of a reaction.

"Berk's Super Star academy is something special for you, for now I'm guessing you're getting confused why I'm acting like this.. But believe me sooner or later you will understand why, go and take it" My mom said sternly and I was getting confused to everything she's saying but I will do what she wanted I won't force her to tell me why, but soon I will ask her if I still don't understand everything.

"I will mom, I will graduate and make you and dad proud" I said and we hugged.

After a minute of hugging we giggled and I said I will take a short nap at my room.

Olivian's POV

After Astrid told me about Berk's Super star academy I can't help my self to be excited and Happy.

When Astrid went to her room to take a short nap, my eyes immediately landed on the picture of Astrid's father named Felix.

"Felix honey, just like what the family have always wished for thousands of years , I can finally feel, the hope of Hofferson clan.. The hope Is in Astrid's hand.. Our little baby, will be the hope our clan"

I whispered to myself while looking at my husband's photo.

Sooner or later Astrid needs to know everything about the Hofferson family, Not now or tomorrow, she will know at the right time.

~time skips at Astrid's bedroom~

Author's POV

"Promise me you will take care of mommy"

"Are you really gonna leave me?"

"Astrid don't cry I'll visit you sometimes"

"I will be back, I promise"

"Astrid always remember that your-"
....

"agghhhh!!!"

Astrid suddenly woke up from her nap panting and sweating she looked around her and she noticed she's in her room, she looked at the time at its already 6:00pm...

"That was weird.. Who is that" Astrid asked to her self and massage her temples.

Her dream was blurr, she can't see the image but she can hear a voice, a voice that wasn't seems familiar to her...
