Astrid's POV

"Hayden Haddock, hmm where did I heard that name again?"
I said to myself since I'm at the Library at the moment

"Ugh this books doesn't have anything!" I said quietly when I suddenly remembered the Private part of the Library

"oohh for the love of blueberries the private library, Ugh I just wasted 10 minutes of my time"

I quickly went to the back of the library and there I saw the door, I looked around to see if there's anyone looking at me.

When I know it's finally safe, I unlocked the door by using the key that madam Luna gave me.

I entered the big room and closed the door quietly.

"ugh finally, so time to find who's this Hayden Haddock"

I said to myself and went to a nearby shelf.

I looked for a book that has all the guardian of Leo, a few seconds later I finally saw it.

I quickly opened the book and searched for a page about a recent Guardian. And finally my question has been answered.

"What?! Hayden is the son of the most powerful Guardian of all and he's next in the throne?!" I whispered yelled to myself while Reading a page that has a picture of a buff man holding a baby.

"Astrid dear! I didn't know you were here!" a sudden voice said startling me.

I look who it was and I saw Madam Luna, "Ma'am, you startled me" I said while holding the book to my chest

"Hahaha, I'm sorry for that, anyway why are you suddenly here reading the Guardian Book of Leo?" she asked while pointing to the book I'm holding

"Oh, umm I kinda suddenly bump into Hayden Haddock this morning and I got into a little argument and all, and the name sounds familiar so I searched about him and all and... Yeah I'm still confused about.. All.. Of.. This"

I replied and put the book back.

"I see, You bump into the most coldest Heir of all"

"Coldest? Well he's really cold but I don't think he's that cold, I mean I think he's only cold towards me, since I kinda met him Since I got here"

"Oh believe me Astrid, Hayden is a very cold person nobody has ever see him smile so happily, nobody saw him laugh freely. The only thing everyone can see is a sarcastic smile and annoying smirk"

Madam Luna said and started to clean some shelves while I'm standing here shock

I mean what kind of person who wouldn't smile or be cheerful

"So this Hayden was a cold and sarcastic guy"

I asked again

"AH yes dear, no one had seen him laugh, smile and no one has ever made him feel like that, he's always grumpy Short tempered aaaaand sarcastic. People say it's because of her dad pressuring him about being the next guardian"

Madam Luna said.

I somehow got interested to know this Hayden. I don't why, but maybe because he's life is a total gloomy?!?

My thoughts are very deep when suddenly.

"Madam Luna!! You gotta help me on something!"

A female's voiced said I looked who it was and it was a blonde girl in a pony tail with a poof on the top came running to us.

"Deary what can I help you with today?"

"I need to know where the Libra's Guardian book is, I need to see something"

The girl said. Madam Luna raised her eye brows and said

"You don't remember where you put it don't you"

"Well kinda... Ugh fine I don't remember where I put it"

She said and her gaze suddenly fell to me

"Hey. You must be the new kid, that talked back to mister Lion out there, right?"

She said and I kinda smiled nervously and just nodded, she gave me smile and looked back at madam Luna

"Oh, I don't remember where I put the book as well, maybe Astrid here could help you. I still need to clean some more shelves"

Madam Luna said and left me here with the blonde girl.

"So um do you know where the book is?" She asked.

"Oh, right the book, it's right over here"

I said and pulled the book from the bottom of the shelves and gave it to her.

"Cool, thanks.. Anyway my name is Adora" she said and we shake hands.

"I'm Astrid" I replied

"Nice name... Also what you did out there with Mister Haddock that was amazing, who knew a new girl like you can do something like that, I wanna know you more, so what do you say we go and get to know each other more?"

She asked.

"Well, Sure It's amazing to meet new friends as well"

I said and we went to the cafeteria.

HIII guys sorry for the late update hahaha and sorry for the short chapter.

Its already midnight here at the Philippines and I can't sleep so I decided to update my shitty book hahhaha

Anyway I hoped you like the chapter today, since Astrid finally know who is Hayden Haddock. And yay I added Adoraaa hahaha anyway that all good night hahahahaha
