After that night I continued to awake the stars and practice my powers more. But within that time of just training I've definitely improved, well, that's what Moon tells me. I awoke earlier in the evening than I usually do and found Moon sitting by a window seal looking up at the setting sun. I was about to leave pretending I didn't see him, but he caught me.

"My wife, the goddess of the sun....." He said suddenly. I turned around to face him and walked towards him. His eyes seemed red like he had been crying, then a silver tear trickled down his face, and he didn't even bother to wipe it away. I looked at him confused for a few moments.

"What was her name?" I asked. He sighed, and another tear began to run down his face. He breathed in slowly trying not to burst out into tears.

"Her name was Aurora.......... And she died from being in the light of the moon for too long........" He said slowly, "It's all my fault......" He said cuffing his face into his palms and whimpering. I had never seen my uncle, Moon, ever cry before. And I actually felt really bad for him.

"How come," I began, "Nether of my parents were gods or goddesses...." I said. He looked up suddenly wiping his tears away, and shrugged.

"I'm actually not sure, both our mum, and pa were gods and goddesses......." He began to say. I nodded my head in response. Then he sighed and stood up, and then faced his attention outside. That caught my attention immediately. He had just set the moon, and I had to wake the stars back up from their slumber. I quickly stumbled out of the room and then house. I quickly ran up the hill and was about to awaken the stars but I heard a loud crack and then scream.

I turned around quickly and saw a man at the bottom of the hill with a gun with weird symbols and then noticing that he was pointing it straight at me. He pulled the trigger and I quickly dodged it, and reflected it strait back to him. He groaned in pain and then started to hiss,

"I've killed 4 so far, and your next....." he said while running towards me with a sword now. I suddenly had a horrible thought, he killed Moon, my uncle........... I started to run towards the woods in fear, then remembering what my uncle had told me, 'the woods are a dangerous place, therefore, you should never go there without me.....' tears began to trickle down my face as I headed towards the woods, he would know why, I thought as I entered the woods.

The dark man began to scream out again in anger but I kept running through the mess of the woods. I tripped over a root and ripped my jumpsuit, but got back up and continued to run. When I thought that I lost him I sat down against a large tree to catch my breath and then realized how much I was beaten up. I had golden blood trickling down my arm, legs, and face. I wiped the golden blood from my mouth and then curled up into a small ball and feel asleep. I didn't even wake the stars up.........

I woke up to a long hissing sound and realized a dragon had been watching me sleep. I quickly backed away from the vicious dragon and began to feel my hands charged with energy. The male dragon(half dragon half human) woke up suddenly and looked at my hands confused. He had bright sand eyes, and messy short brown hair with streaks of sand through it. He wore a sand colored long short sleeved jacket and a black long sleeve shirt underneath. He word sand colored pants and long while socks that went over. He also that black flats on. Then I let go, the energy from my hands traveled through the ground to him and knocked him out. Hasty I began to get up and started to run, but of course, I'm really clumsy, so I tripped over a root and by the time I got up he had woken up and discovered that I had started to run.

Quickly he extended his large sand colored wings and flew over to me. I looked at him wide eye, and then began to charge my hands again. When he saw this, he pause and landed onto the ground and closed up his wings. By this point my eyes were glowing too. He seemed scared as he took a step away from me.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to kill you!" He said putting up his hands and wings. I sneered and stopped my hands and eyes from glowing. He sighed, and put his hands down, "I'm not one of the bad guys....." He said stepping closer to me. I looked at him wide eyed,

"Do you know the guy who's out to kill people?!" I asked. His smile began to shrink.

"There's more than just one of those guys...." He said suddenly, " But if you've seen one..... That means your...... A goddess?!" He asked excitedly but also confused. I looked at him weirdly and then nodded.

"Yeah, I'm a goddess......" I said rolling my eyes. He began to circle me, and looking at my marking weirdly.

"You look like your 13 years old......." He said suspiciously like I had tried to make myself look younger. I crossed my arms and hissed.

"That's because I am 13 years old!" I hissed, my face became red with anger and frustration. He backed away slowly, and scared.

"Oh..... O-Okay..... I just haven't known any gods or goddesses that are young like you......" He began to say. I uncrossed my arms and smiled.

"I known, it's really obvious....." I began to say and then turned around. Immediately I tripped over a root.

"I've also have always known gods and goddesses to be graceful, especially the goddesses......" He snickered. I rolled my eyes as he held out his hand to help me up.

"Sure....." I hissed underneath my breath. I began to walk through the forest trying to find my way out, but stumbled across a whole nation of dragon people, one's like the male. I looked back at him astonished. He slightly smiled.

"These are my people, I'm the prince of them, Elder, prince Elder at your service......" He answered proudly. I had come accompanied with the prince of the dragons, and then discovered that there really was as many as it said in the book of all dragons..... What an incredible day.

Elder began to expand his wings and then held my hand and descended to the ground where the streets of the city. Amazed, I suddenly took the form of a dragon too, well that's new, I thought. Elder looked at me confused.

"What goddess are you?" He asked suspiciously. I paused for a moment and then answered.

"I am BrightStar, but my nickname is Starry, and, I'm the goddess of the Stars........" I began to say. My eyes began to glow light purple for a moment and then stopped, "And I am the proud niece of MoonBeing, the god of the Moon, and Aurora, the goddess of the sun........" I finished. As I said that all the dragons stopped everything they were doing and turned towards me with wide eyes. There mouths began to move but nothing came out. I shrugged, and then answered.

"What? What's wrong with being the goddess of the stars?" Elder grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me up into the air to a hut. He sat me down suddenly, I was about to ask him what he was doing but he just shushed me. Then there was a loud crash outside and then dragon screaming in pain. Then a loud booming voice ringed out in terror.

"Where is she!!!!???? Where is the goddess of the Stars!!!!?????" Then my heart stopped beating for a moment, it was the same guy that killed my uncle, Moon, and he was out for me and would stop at nothing for my dead body. Elder suddenly opened a portal behind me and pushed me through and then jumped inside it himself. I was leaving behind innocent people to die just because of me, and it didn't feel right. I suddenly felt fear rage inside of my mind and heart. He was out to kill me, and anyone that would try to stop him. I looked towards Elder sadly as we traveled through the portal that he had made, even Elder...........
