Shadow was simply walking around the town with a Chaos Emerald. It was dark so no one was really around. At least, that's what he thought.

Starlight was jumping on the buildings when she noticed Shadow with a Chaos Emerald. She felt like she've seen Shadow before.

But she still wanted the Chaos Emerald. So she jumped off the building and stood in front of Shadow.

Shadow was surprised to see Starlight. He started talking to her about how he missed her. Starlight, on the other hand, didn't know what he was talking about.

"You don't remember me?" Shadow asked.

Starlight just looked at the Chaos Emerald. She wanted it so bad. So she backed up from Shadow and used Chaos Clone.

Shadow knew what she was after. He used Chaos Spear on one of the clones, the clone just vanished. A clone behind him ended up tackling him and pinned him to the floor.

The real Starlight walked up to Shadow and grabbed the Chaos Emerald from his hand. She looked at him with a devious smile and used Chaos Control.

The clones all vanished and Shadow got up. He was determined to find Starlight and settle things with her. This was never like her.

Starlight ended up in an alley. That's when she saw a demonic looking Patrick. It was Black Doom's eye.

He noticed how Starlight was able to grab that Chaos Emerald with ease. He then ordered Starlight to collect all the Chaos Emeralds and I return, he will give Starlight all the riches she could ever want. And of course, Starlight agreed.

Hours passed and Starlight finally collected all the Chaos Emeralds. Black Doom was about to grab them, but Shadow then came in and took away the Chaos Emeralds.

There was a big fight scene between Shadow and Black Doom. At the end, Shadow won and Black Doom ran away. Shadow looked at Starlight as if she was crazy. He ended up explaining to her about Black Doom not actually giving you what you want.

Starlight just sighed and asked Shadow why he came. Shadow was still surprised. He ended up taking something that also seemed familiar to Starlight.

It was the music box that Starlight and Shadow had when they lived in the Space Colony Ark.

Shadow played the music box and placed it on the ground. He stepped back and looked at Starlight.

Starlight just looked at the music box. Slowly, her memories started coming back. All the times that she played with Shadow and Maria, all those times that she would look at the window and see Earth, etc. Once Starlight remembered everything, she looked at Shadow and said his name.

Shadow picked up the music box. Starlight, on the other hand, was mad at Shadow. She ended up telling Shadow that she never wanted to be part of the Black Arms. She was mad at Professor Gerald for not fixing her and instead went with Black Doom's idea for experimenting on her. And for Black Doom for tricking her.

Shadow had enough and ended up yelling back at her. Saying that she should be happy that I was at least alive, but Starlight wouldn't take anything that Shadow said. Then they started yelling at each other. Then Shadow said something that changed Starlight's mood to angry and sad.

"At least I wasn't born a GLITCH!!!!" Shadow yelled the last part to make sure Starlight heard it.

Starlight took advantage of her memories and had enough of Shadow. So she said something that would bother Shadow for as long as he lived.

"Oh yeah!? ... YOU'RE THE REASON MARIA'S DEAD!!!!! IF YOU DIDN'T TAKE US TO THAT ROOM WITH ALL THE ESCAPE PODS, WE WOULD AT LEAST DIE TOGETHER!!!!!!"

Shadow was shocked when he heard this. He just looked at her and ran away. As for Starlight, she walked to a nearby alley and started crying.

Just then, her schizophrenia started activating. And you would have guessed who she saw.

It was Maria.

Starlight was still crying when she saw her. Maria started talking about how she should listen to Shadow and at least be nice to him. They were siblings after all.

Starlight then agreed to do so and Maria vanished. Starlight ran away from the alley and looked for Shadow. Shadow was waiting for her at the end of the alley, and so while Starlight was running, she ran to Shadow and gave him a hug.

And if course, Shadow hugged back.
