Laura, who was following him behind, wondered why he was doing this. "What are you doing?" Jin continued in opening every door before answering.

"How do you expect to raise a child here?" He stopped and turned around looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "You only have one bedroom." Laura looked down knowing he was right and that this place is too small for the two of them. She nodded, agreeing on his proposal. "Okay, we will take some things for now and we will come back for your other stuff. Where is your suitcase?" He asked running towards her bedroom again, still remembering where it was since he already inspected the whole place. "I don't have one. I never go on trips so... I never needed one." She stood at the doorway looking at him getting annoyed.

"Really?" He raised his eyebrow and tilted his head. "But I have this?" She went to her closet and pulled out a sports bag. "That will do." Jin snatched the bag out of her hands and put it on her bed. He turned around and opened her closet. He looked with a slightly disgusted face at her clothes, thinking she had poor taste in fashion. He shook his head and grabbed some clothes, throwing them inside the bag.

The next day she moved in with him and he immediately told her, no it was more of a demand, that she stayed home from now on. Jin would take care of her and the baby's needs.

A few months went by and Laura's belly started to grow bigger. It started to become noticeable to the world that she was carrying a child. Jin was left in the early morning and Laura saw his office laptop sitting on his desk. She decided to bring it to him with a self made lunch box. She knew that Jin works hard and that he barely had the time to eat.

Since Laura moved in with Jin, they grew closer each day to the point that Laura started to have feelings for him or was it the hormones talking?

She walked towards his office and saw that the lights were off. He was probably in a meeting so she just put down his laptop and his lunch on his desk while looking around. She never had the chance to come in here and was amazed by the architecture. It was very modern and straight.

With a little pout, she left the building, not realizing that a group of children were playing not far from her. One crashed into her and made her stumble to the ground. With a groan she held her belly. Feeling a pain that felt like she was struck with a knife. Jin, who just happened to pass by in his car, saw Laura having trouble and jumped out to her rescue.

"Are you okay?" He looked at her pale face that was showing pain. She couldn't talk as she was clenching her teeth but Jin knew she needed help. He lifted her up and drove to the hospital. This scene was spotted by reporters and quickly the news got out.

At the hospital Laura lost a bit of blood but it wasn't alarming. Doctors told her to be careful but that there was no need to have bed rest.

The next day Jin's father got a surprise when opening the newspaper. A photo of Jin with Laura in his arms was taken to be the head line. His father immediately wanted answers and asked Jin to come.

And so he did. "Hi, mother, father. Yoongi." The last part was less cheerful. tone. Yoongi rolled his eyes upon hearing Jin's voice but as soon as he turned his head he was shocked to see Laura in his presence.

"Huh, you paid her to be your girlfriend?" Yoongi chuckled while putting his arm around his new girlfriend's shoulder. She was showing proudly her big diamond on her finger as she was stroking her hair behind her ear.

Jin said nothing but approached his father. Laura bowed to greet him and they sat down. "Hi father, this is Laura, my girlfriend." He presented Laura with a big smile, knowing that he was a step closer to being a CEO.

"When were you going to tell me? I had to know through this!" He said while throwing the newspaper in front of Jin. "I'm sorry father, I just didn't have the time, work, Laura and the baby needed some attention.

Yoongi who just sipped from his champagne, just spit it all out upon hearing this. Even his father sat straight up because of the shock. "B-Baby?" All eyes were on Laura, who proudly showed off her little baby bump.

"There is no baby. It's just a stuffed pillow underneath her dress." Yoongi shuckled once more, believing his own words.

"I knew you would say that so I have proof." Jin opened his wallet and pulled out a photo. Yoongi followed the photo that was handed over to his father. Out of curiosity he stood up and looked at it. As he saw that it was an ultrasound of the baby, his eyes became wide.

"This is fake, even I can make one like this." Again not believing what he just saw. But his words made even his father doubt the truth and Jin noticed it.

"Fine, wait for a few more months and you'll see. I will even do a dna test if I have to." Yoongi became anxious about hearing this and spilled something that Laura never heard from Jin.
"If you think that this will get you the position of CEO, you are so wrong, you hear me!" Yoongi walked out the house frustrated with his girlfriend trailing behind him.

Laura couldn't believe what she heard. Did Jin approach her just for this position? For his own gain?

As they went home Laura didn't utter a single word to Jin. He knew the words that came out of Yoongi's mouth had hurt her and didn't know how to get out of this messy position. He knew if she was gone his CEO spot was also going to be snatched away by Yoongi.

"Laura, please stay, think about the baby." Jin tried to convince her to stay but Laura made up her mind. She wanted out. He tried so hard but eventually he couldn't force her to stay.

When she walked out the door she stopped and turned around one more time." I trusted you. I thought you were genuine in your actions but it seems like I was fooled by you. And say that I even had feelings for you. Goodbye Jin." A tear left her eye when walking away . Heart broken by Jin's deceives.

Jin was shocked by her words, so shocked that he couldn't even move or speak to stop her. Laura went back to her old apartment and Jin was left with nothing more than silence. The house was quiet without Laura running around cleaning, making it neat for the arrival of the newborn.

With this jin began to realize how he started to miss every bit of Laura. Everywhere he looked he got flashbacks of Laura doing something. Suddenly he jumped up and was determined to get her back. He ran after her and saw her crunched down on the front porch. Letting out little cries of help between every pinch of pain.

"Laura! What's wrong?" Jin panicked and didn't hesitate to lift her up and put her in the car. With a fast pace he drove to the hospital.

Due to the heavy emotions that happened earlier with Jin, it made a strong impact on her pregnancy. The doctors told her that she needed bed rest from now on until giving birth.

Laura kept her words to the minimum towards Jin. The previous event was still lingering in her head. Jin brought her back to her old house and tugged her in bed. He removed his vest and loosened his tie. "W-What are you doing?" Laura said, having the wrong conclusions.

"You are in bed rest. Who will care for you? Cook for you?" He said, rolling up his sleeves and leaving with a little smile. After a while he came back with a bowl of freshly made noodles with vegetable soup.

Laura's nose was working in overdrive and it made her stomach growl. It smelled so nice. As Jin put the bowl down on her night stand, she couldn't help but to stare at Jin's face. He was doing his best but Laura was careful not to be fooled twice by him.

Days went on and jin never left her side. He lost interest in his work and took care of Laura 24/7. Laura saw that he was trying hard to win her back, just for his own good.

She kept being distant and Jin couldn't handle the awkwardness between them anymore.

"Laura, I need to talk to you." He came inside the room with a heavy heart. He sat on the end of the bed, his eyes were sad and his phone kept buzzing but he never bothered to answer.

"You probably still think that I'm still doing this for the CEO position but I'm honest this time. I don't care about that anymore. I just want you and the baby to be safe and by my side.

Laura scoffed. "Why should I believe you?"

"Here." He gave his phone. It showed that he missed so many calls. So many messages left on his voice mails. "Since I brought you here, my phone kept ringing non stop but I never bothered to answer since I just want to give you all my attention." Jin said, making Laura's eyes big.

"I'm sorry jin but how can I trust you again?" Laura's eyes became watery, realizing that she still loves him.

"I'll prove it to you." Jin took his phone and called someone. He put it on speaker and waited for the person to pick up.

"Yes, Jin?" It was his father that answered. Laura, who didn't know what was going to happen next sat there silently. Listening to whatever Jin was going to say.

"Dad. I'm removing myself from the position of CEO. Laura needs my help right now and I want to be there for her. Give Yoongi that position because I don't care anymore. Laura is my priority." Before his father could speak he ended the call. He noticed Laura had covered her mouth with her hands because of the shock.

"Why would you do this?" Laura asked. "Because I came to realize that you left a serious impact on me." He came closer to her holding her hands into his. "I think I'm in love with you." He smiled, making Laura so happy. She jumped into his embrace.

From that day Laura and Jin became a real couple. A baby boy was born and both parents were thrilled. Even an unexpected visit made their day more special. Jin's father came to see his grandchild but also to let Jin know that he got the job as CEO.

He sacrificed his job because of Laura and so his father knew that he really loved her and that it wasn't just a play. Jin refused the first time, scared that Laura would misunderstand again but she reassured him that she trusted him and that he should take the job. His devotion to taking care of his family was enough to convince Laura that he actually did this all out of love.
