"How will I recognise your crush?" Swara inquired.

"I'll be there to introduce you two and in case I get late, she will be the one having Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream." He texted her back.

"Yeww..I hate that. Anyways see you guys tomorrow evening." She replied.

Later Next Evening at the Restaurant

"So finally you decided to show up. I have been waiting here for you guys for the past twenty minutes. And where's your crush? Shouldn't she be here by now? Listen Mr. Maheshwari although I am your best friend but don't you expect me to tolerate her tantrums like this." She uttered annoyingly.

"Woahh..cool down lady bheem chill. Why don't we order something while we wait for her to arrive?" Sanskar said

He called up the waiter, "A coffee for me and an Ice cream for madam."

"Vanilla Cone." She specified.

Sanskar looked up at the waiter and winked. The waiter smiled and went in.

(Meanwhile Swara thought to herself: What must have he seen in her? Is she prettier than me? What if she turns out to be perfect for him? So stupid of me to hold back my feelings for him for so long. I just can't watch him go away with someone else. What can I do?)

"Hey where are you lost?" He interrupted her chain of thoughts.

"You know, a legend said that a person who's not punctual should never be trusted." She exclaimed.

He sighed at her remark and said, "Looks like someone's not really enthusiastic and impressed about meeting her."

"It's not like that. And FYI you are planning on seeing her so why would I care. See whoever you want to." Swara shot back.

(Thinking to herself: Why am I even here? Doesn't he realise what he is putting me through?)

Meanwhile the waiter arrived, "Coffee for you Sir and a Mint Choclate Chip Ice Cream for madam."

She got a little furious, "That's not what I ordered. I asked for a Vanilla Ice Cream Cone."

"It's fine. It's for my crush. Remember I told you she'll be the one having Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream." He interrupted.

"Okay, but why would you bring something for someone who is not even here instead of bringing my order." She shot back at the waiter.

"She is here." Sanskar smirked.

"Where?" Swara got up to look around.

"Right here Swara, she is right here." He exclaimed looking right into her eyes.

Her cheeks turned red, she smiled and with teary eyes she leaned forward and hugged him.

That Mint Choclate Chip Ice Cream never tasted that delicious to her before....
