Rose day - The first step to love week.

I will post a new drabble on every day of the valentine week based on the respective day. Enjoy Amigos ♥

"Today is Rose Day and we are going to have free classes Sanskar. I am so excited." She squealed finally getting the relief from studies. Cause the week of love has started and ofcourse every love dove pair in the college is going to celebrate it.

"Excited for what? Rose day or free classes?" He teased her.

Hitting his arms lightly she said, "Obviously for free classes. I don't believe in all this neither do I have any lover. Stupid." She laughed off the topic but deep down in her heart she wished to celebrate every day of Valentine's week with someone or more precisly Sanskar.

"By the way do you know Swara the story behind Rose day?"

"No. Do you?"

Nodding his head he spoke, "Yep. See if we closely notice the letters in 'rose' and if we arrange the letters in a certain manner it will spell "Eros" who is celebrated as the God of Love. Also, they say red rose is the favourite flower of the Goddess Venus, who is known as the Goddess of Love."

"Woah. That's actually something." She said in amazement.

"Ikr. That's why on this day the lovers mostly give each other a red rose."

"But why are you telling me this Sanskar? Tell all this to someone special ma. And how do you know all this? PhD ki hai kya?" (Have you done PhD?") She joked.

"For the first question, the answer is I am saying all this to that someone special only." He pulled out a red rose from his back and looking into her widened eyes he sincerely wished her, "Happy Rose day, Swara!"

While she was too surprised to say anything and after a minute of silence taking the rose from his hand she wished him back, "Happy Rose day."

And the answer to the second question was a long forgotten case.
