"Swara, what are you doing?"

"I am writing a wish, Sanskar. Tomorrow is christmas so I will keep this under my pillow tonight."

"Seriously? Swara aisa kuch nahi hota. Yeh sab superstitions hai and you being a science student believe in all this?" He asked shaking his head in disbelief.

"Sanskar it's not about I believe in it or not. But there is no harm in doing this right? Ab aisa to nahi hai ki mujhe koi loss hoga agar meri wish puri nhi hui toh?" She said smilingly and put the note under her pillows.

"Uff you and your logics. Okay, jo karna hai karo. Waise kya wish maang rahi ho?"

"You!"

"I wished to Santa to keep our friendship forever like this." She said with a smile adorning her lips making him smile whole-heartedly too.

"Promise."

And just one word left his mouth sealing her wish with a forever promise.
