Lilly's P.O.V:

I pulled into the driveway, seeing a car that I assumed belonged to my dad and a police car. Glancing at watch I saw that is was 8:30. ' Why would my dad and a cop be at my house at 8:30 pm?' "Who is she going to stay with?"I heard my dad say. "If you want she can stay with you Mr. Stark or she'll have to be put in a foster home" the officer sighs. "I live with my mom. Why would I need to live with him? He was never really in my life anyways" I mumble.

They look at each other then my dad turns to face me."Lilly, why don't you take a seat and we'll explain?" the officer suggest. "No. Tell me what's going on first" I say. "Lilly, your mom was murdered" "Murdered! What do you mean she was murdered?"I questioned them. "She was shot 3 times. Do you know anyone who would have wanted to kill her?"

"Mom, mom. Please come out. I know you're hiding in here. If this is a joke this isn't funny" I say, ignoring the officer's questions. "Lilly. We already told you she's dead" My dad says, taking a step closer to me. "Mom, please quit trying to prank me. This isn't funny. Just please come out already please" I call out, my eyes getting glossy. "Mom!" I sigh. My dad wrapped me in a hug.

"The ambulance took her to the hospital and the doctors tried to stop the bleeding but they couldn't " the officer mumbled. "GET OUT! GET OUT OF HERE! LEAVE" I yell at the officer. Getting out of my dad's grip, I grab a vase near me and throw it towards the door, then go to lay on the couch crying. "GET OUT NOW! LEAVE! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I shout as the broken pieces of the vase land by the officer's feet.

"I'm sorry about her officer" "It's fine, Mr. Stark. This must be really hard on her. Here's my card, please have Lilly call me whenever she's ready to answer my questions. Have a good night" the officer said before leaving. "Lilly. We're going to the tower. You can get your stuff tomorrow" My dad lifts me up and we walk to the car.
