"So that's it? No more karate?" Demetri asked Miguel as the four sat in the library. After Sadie and Moon ditched the dance, Miguel had gotten beaten up pretty bad by Kyler and his friends. It freaked his mom out and she'd made him stop attending.

"I guess so." Miguel frowned. Sadie leaned back in her chair with a sigh, seeing how down he was.

"It's probably for the best." Demetri said with a minor nod of his head, "It was starting to boost your confidence."

"Demetri, would you shut up?" Sadie asked him with a roll of her eyes, slipping her pen around her fingers quickly. Eli attempted to do the same and only had his flying across the table and hitting Miguel.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Miguel questioned Demetri with a odd look.

"No." the lanky boy said in disbelief, "What has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash?"

"Laid." Sadie said with a snort as Miguel looked at her in disbelief.

"Well, I thought it was kinda cool how you stood up to Kyler." Eli spoke a moment later as he looked to Miguel with a half smile, having his pen handed back to him.

"Are you insane?" Demetri asked him in disbelief.

"Don't call him insane!" Sadie scolded the dark haired boy.

"Let me ask you. What is the best superpower anyone could have?" Demetri questioned as he looked around at the four with curious eyes.

"Super strength." Miguel confirmed as Sadie gave him a judged look.

"Wrong. Invisibility." Demetri said as he pointed the end of his pencil at him.

"Invisibility could come in handy. Like if you're running from the cops, you wouldn't have to risk having you lung give out on you." Sadie nodded her head, propping her head up on her elbow with a shrug.

"See, Sadie gets it." Demetri nodded toward the girl, "A distant second would be super speed to run away fast."

"Run away from who?" Kylers voice rung as he placed a hand on Eli's shoulder. Sadie knocked it off nearly immediately as she stared at the boy in disbelief.

"Whom." Brucks corrected his friend with a nod, "It's the object of a preposition. Remember English Class."

"Maybe if he bothered to take his eyes off of Samantha LaRussos rack long enough he'd know." Sadie snapped with a nasty glare their way. Demetri grabbed her shoulder and yanked her up quickly.

"We were just leaving." Miguel confirmed as Demetri pulled Sadie around the table.

"Oh, look at this freak." Kyler laughed as he grabbed Eli by the face and gawked at his scar, "Oh, shit! What kind of girl would ever kiss this shit?"

Sadie threw her backpack over Eli's head so it fell on Kyler. He threw it back at her as Sadie groaned, "What? Last time I checked you got your ass kicked, you really wanna start another fight?"

"Last time I checked a old man kicked your ass in a parking lot, you really wanna start another fight?" Sadie mocked as she pulled Eli behind her quickly and glared up at Kyler, "Go ahead, I take the yearbook picture and i'll be sure to fuck yours up. Though, it won't be hard with that stupid hair style you have."

Kyler grabbed Sadie harshly by the face before Miguel spoke up, "Leave her alone, Kyler."

Kyler shoved Sadies face away as she adjusted her jaw from how it was squeezed, "What'd you say? You hadn't had enough, Rhea? Get the hell out of here man."

Sadie followed close behind Miguel as Brucks gave her and Eli a harsh shove, Demetri trialing close behind after having his backpack thrown in the trash.

"I said extra butter." the middle aged woman complained as she stared at Sadie in disbelief.

"I gave you extra butter." Sadie said back with a glare, "Do you want me to charge you extra?"

"For butter?" she asked in disbelief, "Do you have a manager?"

"You're looking at her." Sadie lied as the woman stared for a moment before rolling her eyes and walking off. Sadies dad had encouraged her to get a job if she wanted to join karate, considering neither of her parents agreed to it. Sadie didn't enjoy the idea of wasting three hours after school working at a movie theatre with greasy popcorn and the ugly uniform, but she also didn't enjoy getting mocked and pushed around, her words being her only defense.

"You're the manager?" Sam asked as she stood infront of the stand. She looked sad, arms crossed across her chest as she stood there.

"Nope." Sadie said as she crossed her arms, "What do you want? Sour worms?"

Sadie hadn't meant to say it, sour gummy worms were Sams favorite in middle school. Sadie use to steal them from the gas station every morning and bring them to her when they walked to school together.

"No, I just needed to bring my ticket back." Sam said as she extended her hand. The theatre had a new policy that if you come in, you have to hold onto your ticket to show when you came out. A few kids had snuck in for a movie and got away with it. Sadie took it from her extended hands and unlocked the small drawer, "When did you get a job here?"

"Non of your business." Sadie spoke with a roll of her eyes, "What the hells the matter with you?"

"Nothing." Sam said back with a huff as Sadie passed her the exit ticket, "Is that it?"

"Yeah, just don't let the door hit you on the way out." Sadie said with a fake smile. Sam huffed as she stormed out of the theatre. Kyler soon exited, looking around for the LaRusso girl. Sadie realized he'd probably been why Sam was so anger and upset, wondering why she didn't put two and two together before hand.

"She's in the bathroom." Sadie spoke up as Kyler looked her way, "I've been out here the whole time, no other girls are in there besides her."

Kyler nodded quickly as he pushed open the girls bathroom. Sadie smirked when she heard a woman yell at Kyler, shouted and hitting him with her purse, a harsh shove to his body as Kyler flew out of the woman's bathroom and hit the dirty theatre floors.

"Who the hell is this?" Sensei Lawrence asked as Miguel brought Sadie to the dojo about a week later, "You have a girlfriend?"

"No!" Miguel said quickly with a flushed face.

Sadie laughed as she pulled her shoes off, "He's not my type, cute though. I'm Sadie."

"Sadie." Johnny said back in a almost mocking way, "Why are you in my dojo?"

"Because I wanna learn karate, why else would I be here?" she asked with a shrug of disbelief, unzipping her jacket and throwing it to the side, "I can jump high and have some major upper arm strength."

"Cute." the blonde man said unamused down at her, "There's no girls in karate."

"Dude, so you know what year it is? Sexism is so not cool anymore." Sadie said in disbelief. Johnny looked as through he was about to snap at her before Miguel drug him to the side quickly, the pair having a pretty intense discussion, "Hello? I'm standing right here!"

Miguel stepped aside with a clear of his throat as Johnny eyed her, "Okay. Sadie."

He mocked her name with a laugh, "To be Cobra Kai you have to show you can fight. Just don't act like a girl."

Sadie rolled her eyes as she got onto the mat. Miguel stood before her. Sadie laughed in disbelief, "I'm fighting Miguel?"

"Ouch." Miguel said as he put a hand on his heart in pain.

"Is that a problem?" Sensei Lawrence asked. Sadie gave a laugh as she stood before Miguel as he held his hands up, "Take your fight position."

"What fighting position?" Sadie asked in disbelief. Johnny put his hands in his head before he heard a yell echo in the dojo, looking up and seeing Sadie had attacked Miguel and brought him down on the mat. Miguel huffed as he flipped her over. Johnny watched as Sadie got trapped under him, coming up and sinking her teeth into his shoulder.

Miguel yelled in pain as he got off of Sadie quickly, holding his shoulder in pain. Johnny laughed as he watched the blood seep through his shirt. Sadie stood up as she pushed her hair behind her head, "Sorry, Miguel."

"Biting isn't allowed in karate." Johnny spoke as he looked toward Sadie, a half grin on his face, "Thats why you can't let anyone see you do it."

Sadie grinned widely, "So I made the auditions?"

"There not called auditions." Johnny corrected her before glancing toward Miguels bleeding shoulder, "But I think we can work with you, Fangs."

Sadie grinned widely, her front teeth having a faint gloss of Miguel's blood on them.
