"You've trained hard. You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best." Sensei spoke to the team as he stood upon one of the older cars, staring down at them as the sun rose, "You're ready for this tournament, am I right?"

"Yes sensei!" they called yelled back to him.

"Wrong!" the blonde man yelled back at them, throwing the empty beer can at their feet.

"Your best ain't shit." he insulted them, "If you wanna win the All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament, you gotta give me better then your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst. Do you understand?"

"Yes sensei!"

"Are you losers?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you nerds?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you sure?"

"No sensei!"

"Move those feet, go!" Sensei yelled as the group all raced through tires, stepping between each of them and making it through. Sadie huffed as she made it closer to the end, feeling her leg get caught and fall quickly. Miguel came close after, falling on top of her, Hawk soon after, Aisha, Bert, and it kept on.

"Are you kidding me?" Sensei asked them in disbelief, "Fangs?"

"I'm sorry, sensei." Sadie huffed from under the group, her hand extended. The blonde man huffed, grabbing it and giving her a harsh pull from under them. Sadie groaned as he yanked her up, dusting her shoulders off. Sadie leaned into her sensei with a pained huff.

"You wanna win? You gotta be hungry." Sensei spoke as he handed out beef jerky to each of his students, "You guys hungry?"

"Yes sensei." they all spoke back, taking nibbles from the hand full they received.

"Good." he smirked at them, "Cause so are they."

Sadie looked over as loud, deep barks echoed through the junk yard. Four ridiculously large dogs came running their way.

"I'm going to kill myself!" Sadie huffed in disbelief, taking off in a sprint. She found the nearest car, diving into the open window and taking the hiding position under the seats.

"Your poor little butt." Sadie spoke as she sat in the hospital room with Eli after the dog got a good chunk out of him, "Come look of this, Demetri."

"Would you guys stop?" Hawk huffed in disbelief as the pair stood behind him. Sadies cold hand touched the wound, making him yelp.

"They gave him rabbis shots, right?" Demetri asked with a cringed expression, "That looks like it seriously hurts."

"Oh my god, both of you, leave my butt alone!" Hawk spoke with a huff over his shoulder at the two. Sadie covered him up again with the sheet, "I need some food."

"Can I feed it to you like a mama bird?" Sadie begged as Demetri looked over in disbelief.

"You mean put it in your mouth then spit it in his mouth?" Demetri asked with a grossed out look.

Sadie face squinted in disbelief, "Demetri, are you kidding me? No!"

"Thats what you said!" he defended himself, raising his hand up.

"That is not what I said." she corrected him once more.

"Sadie." Hawk whined as she huffed.

"I'll be back." Sadie announced, grabbing her wallet and heading toward the nearest vending machine.

Sadie groaned in disbelief when the vending machine wouldn't take her dollar, flatting it and trying again. Sadie slapped the glass as she tried it again, exhaling angrily as it spit the dollar out once more. Sadie went to head toward the cafeteria before a voice spoke up, "Try flipping it around."

Sam looked over her shoulder at Sam, eyeing her a moment, "Excuse me?"

"If you flip it around it usually takes it." the LaRusso girl nodded her head. Sadie glared before she took her advice, turning it as the vending machine took her dollar and lit up the options. Sadies shut her eyes, not bothering to spit out a thank you, "Is your dad okay?"

"What?" Sadie snapped at her in disbelief.

"Is that why you're here?" Sam asked, knowing about Sadies fathers health problems that caused her to spend plenty of time in the hospital.

"God, it's non of your business." Sadie rolled her eyes as she spun around to stare at her with a nasty glare, "What? Do you think because you're dating Miguel we're supposed to be the best of friends all of a sudden?"

"No- no." Sam shook her head quickly, "I just wanted to say-"

"Thats the problem then, I guess." Sadie spoke to her, eyeing Sam up and down a moment, "You don't need to say anything to me."

Before Sam could say anything back, Sadie grabbed the vending machine crackers and stormed off. Sam shut her eyes a moment before turning to walk away as well.

"Ow!" Demetri yelped as he laid on his stomach, "This hurts!"

"It'll go away in a second." Hawk reassured him with a hum. Sadie ran a hand down Demetris face with a grin.

The three had decided to get tattoos together.

Hawk had a small S on his wrist, Sadie had a D, and Demetri was getting a E. Hawk threw a pretty good fit over it, wanting him to get a H but finally gave in to the E.

"He's sensitive, go easy." Sadie scolded Rico. Hawk rubbed Demetris back as Sadie held his head. The E was very small and would take five minutes at the most, but Demetri had turned into a big baby the second the needle hit his skin. Fifteen minutes later, only half of the E was finished.

"A H would have been much quicker." Eli said with a knowing look, getting a slap in the arm from Sadie as she held Demetris head in her lap.

"Demetri, are you coming to the movies with us?" Sadie asked, trying to distract him from stopped the tattoo and having it go on even longer.

"And get head lice? No thanks!" Demetri groaned in disbelief, "Why can't we go swimming again?"

"You two went swimming without me?" Hawk asked with a offended look across his face, "When?"

"Yesterday, we had important business to discuss." Sadie waved him off as she rubbed Demetris raven hair, "But Miguel and Aisha want us to come to the movies, it'll be fun."

"Head lice!" Demetri spoke up again. Sadie pulled Hawk closer with her out reached hand, encouraging him to come closer to them. Eli stopped looking at the designs on the wall, wrapping a arm around Sadie and rubbing Demetris back in the process.

"Fine, we'll swim after." Sadie nodded head head as Rico finished up the tattoo, "You can come too, Hawk."

"Obviously, why would y'all leave me out?" he whined. Demetri laughed slightly as he sat up, looking down at his wrist. The sore feeling wasn't something he enjoyed like the other two did, "Do you like it?"

"Yeah." Demetri grinned, forgetting about the pain as he held his wrist out, pulling Sadie and Eli's closer to his. E, D, and S all lined up together, "Eds."

"Aw, like short for Eddie." Sadie gushed as she threw her bag over her shoulder, "Eds, that's so cute."

"Thanks, Rico." Hawk called out to the man, taking Sadies hand as Demetris held her other.
