"Hey, Sads." Miguel called from the other side. "You okay? They're about to call our name."

Sadie inhaled, nodding as she took a quick swing of the drink of her water bottle, chugging the rest of her bottle after that

Miguel leaned off the bathroom door as it opened, looking at her and watching as Sadie threw her bottle away. "You okay?"

She gave a smile, shaking her head. "Never better."

"Okay, Fangs, remember, I adopted you." Johnny grabbed her shoulders with a quick nod. "You got it?"

"Got it." Sadie nodded her head. "Sadie Lawrence."

"Not Fangs Vesper." he confirmed, clapping her shoulders. "Okay, Eagles, we've got this."

"And finally...this dojo is making their All Valley debut, though you'll recognize a few familiar faces. Every year, a new dojo rises up the ranks. Does this newcomer have what it takes to win it all? Please welcome Eagle Fang Karate, led by Sensei Johnny Lawrence and defending champion Miguel Diaz!" Daryl announced Eagle Fang, the group huddled together as they walked through. Sadie looked around with a minor grin, seeing the other dojos one the mat. Devon met her eye with a little grin, Sadie looking toward the crowd. Her mom sat with Amanda, Carmen, and Yaya, the group waving at her and Miguel as they found their place on the mat.

Sadie stared across the mat, meeting Sams eye ad they shared a little grin, Sam gave a minor wave of her fingers.

"At the end of the day, only one of these dojos can be crowned Grand Champion." Daryl continued on, motioning around at the three dojos. "Welcome to the 51st annual All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament!"

Sadie took a breath, looking to Sensei Lawrence with a nod.

"It's Karate Time."

Sadie had done very well in the skills competition, breaking every board she was given, then granted the opportunity to show off her training ability, as did Miguel, the two keeping Eagle Fang afloat after Devon struggled to break one of her boards, Assface throwing a bo at the judges, knocking them down a lot. Miyagi-Do was doing fantastic, Demetri absolutely killing the kama training while Sam kept her cool and balance in her own. Eli had done what Sadie had, breaking each board before missing the highest one, knocking them below Cobra Kai as the dojo took the win.

Johnny crowded them together quickly. "How the hell are we in fourth place?"

"The skills events are weighed differently, Gold medals are ten points, silver-" Devon began to try and explain it to him.

"He doesn't understand numbers unless it's a calculator, sweetie." Sadie cut her off with a shake of her head.

"I don't give a shit about the math. What do we need to beat Cobra Kai?" Johnny yelled out with a loud huff.

"Uh, math." Devon said back in disbelief. "To catch up on points, we need to win as many matches in the qualifying rounds as possible. The further we get, the tighter the vice around Cobra Kais metaphysical balls."

"Okay. Good. Now your speaking my language." Johnny nodded. Sadie held a hand infront of her suddenly, Johnnys face spinning as his words were turned into an echo in her brain.

"Woah, Sadie." Miguel grabbed her arm suddenly when he saw her body stumble. "Are you okay?"

She nodded quickly, taking a breath as she blinked. "I just got- i'm fine, a little light headed for a second."

"Did you eat something today?" he asked, getting a quick nod. "Hang on."

He pulled her toward his bag, giving her his water bottle. Sadie drank it, nodding her head. "I'll buy you a gatorade after this."

He nodded, rubbing her back

"Ladies and gentlemen. The male and female division qualifiers are about to begin. And with them, we enter a new era!" Ron, a guy from the council, spoke over the mic. "That's why we need a very special guest to kick things off. Let's give a big All Valley welcome to multi-Grammy-award winning, international superstar, Carrie Underwood!"

"I think i'm seeing things now." Sadie said honestly, trying to shake the feeling that was taking over her body and making her eyes heavy, watching the most unexpected guest arrive.

"Hello, All Valley!" Carrie greeted as she took the mic, talking over the intense yells from the crowd. "I am so honored to be here. I didn't see a lot of karate growing up in Oklahoma, but you guys know I love to compete, just like these wonderful young men and young woman. One thing I have learned is that everyone gets their shot, their chance in the spotlight. Everyone gets their moment. This one's yours!"

The competition began soon after, each of the dojos doing very well, each student doing the same. Sadie watched Cobra Kai's do impressively well, Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang making her proud, she cheered for Sam each time too. She won a few points, bringing Eagle Fang up, kept on drinking Miguel's water as her eyes kept getting tired and her vision and brain got fuzzy every few minutes.

Cobra Kai was still leading, but the quarterfinals came around quick.

"All right, folks. We've witnessed some great fighting today. But you ain't seen nothing yet." Daryl teased over the mic as the crowd cheered for the remaining stood. "Because we have arrived at the quarterfinals! Which means things are about to get intense. Of the eight boys and eight girls on this stage, one of each will be named All Valley champion. And then we'll tally all the points to determine which dojo has earned the title of Grand Champion. And since the points get higher in each round...it's still any dojos game! So you keep your eyes on this here blue mat, because we are just getting started!"

"You've got this, Fangs." Johnny encouraged her as Tory and Sadie were put together on the mat. "Remember all we've trained for."

Sadie nodded, slapping her face to try and rid the feeling. "Throw some water on me."

"What?" he looked in confusion.

"Some water." Sadie nodded, making Miguel pass her the water. "My eyes are getting heavy, you need to wake me up."

"I told you to get a good nights rest." he said, pouring water in his hand and tossing it on her face. Sadie gave a manly grunt, nodding her head as she took a long tug of the water. "Come on, show her what you've got!"

Sadie tilted her head up, blowing the mouth full of water high in the air as it rained down on her. Sam cheered. "Yeah, go Sadie!"

"Face me, bow." the ref nodded, having her and Tory face him to bow. "Face each other. Bow."

Tory and Sadie did so, holding intense eye contact. "Fight!"

Tory swung at Sadie, having the girl duck to dodge it, using her to kick her in the side, twisting around and trying to hit her. Tory blocked it, kicking her in the hip as Sadie gave a stumble back, repaying it with a forward roll on the ground, districting Tory long enough for her to spin around on one knee and kick the Cobra Kai right in the stomach, making her fall back. "Point!"

"Yes!" Johnny cheered.

Sam smiled widely, clapping her hands together with a cheeky grin in Sadie's direction.

Tory and Sadie took their stances again, Sadie shook her head to try and find where she was centered. There was three of Torys right now, Sadie figured she got a little dizzy in the roll she did. "Fight!"

Sadies kick hit one of the Torys, only it wasn't the right one, giving Tory time to punch her in the chest. "Point!"

Johnny looked in confusion, watching Sadie stumble slightly. Tory looked oddly. "Are you drunk?"

"No." Sadie said back, the two facing each other. "I haven't had anything to drink in a week."

Tory looked oddly, because Sadie seemed completely out of it. She shook her bead. "Sorry. Time out."

Sam looked in confusion and worry as Sadie was headed back toward Johnny, her footing stumbling badly. Johnny looked at her. "Hey, what's going on with-"

He was cut off by Sadie's legs giving out as she fell against the mat, eyes going heavy.
