A young yellow female lion with long yellow hair and bright bright green eyes sits in a clearing with a lake near here as she leans again a tree and quietly reads her book, not knowing she was being watched. The lion hums quietly as she turns a page in her book but quickly looks up when she heard a noise and quickly looks up

Her ears twitches as she examine the area but doesn't see anything.  She shrugs it off but keeps her ears opening just in case as she went back to her book. Suddenly their was a loud hissing noise and the yellow lion quickly jumps up and looks around

Suddenly a huge green Naga with electrifying blue eyes charges at her as she lowly growls and dodges the snakes attack. The Naga hiss in pain when it missed and hits the tree. He shakes his head and growls and glares at you as the lion just smirk

The Naga charges at her again and she dodges again as the Naga was slowly getting angry. The yellow lion quickly picks up her book and took off running, hoping to lose the Naga somewhere in the forest or find a good place to hide

The Naga hisses angrily," Get back here!" He shouts out as he slithers after you. Her tail twitches as she continues to run when she yelps out in shock and pain as she fells down on the ground. Just above her in a tree was another Naga as it woke up when it heard her yelp and looks down at the yellow lion on the ground

"Gotcha!" The green Naga shout as he grins as he got ready to pounce on the yellow lion as the yellow lion yells out in fear. The Naga in the tree quickly wraps his tail around the yellow lion's waist and quickly pulls her into the tree and puts a hand over her mouth to keep her from making any noises

The green naga lands on the ground with a grunt of pain as he looks around in confusion as he wonder where his prey went. A few minutes of looking around he growls in angry and frustration and slithers off

The red and black naga waits a few minutes before letting the yellow lion ago as he looks at her," You ok?" He asked as she slowly nods," Y-yeah. B-but why h-help me?" She said/asked as she looks at him with curiosity and confusion in her eyes and waits for him to answer

"Mmm, because I wanted too." He said as he used his tail to pick her up again and slithers out of the tree and onto the ground. He places her down but when she went to walk she yelps out in pain and falls down. He leans down and looks at her foot. "Seems, you sprained it." He said as he gently picks her up, being careful of her injured ankle

"Yeah. So, what's your name?" She asked shyly as the Naga looks at her," I'm Shadow." He replies as he slithers into a cave. The yellow lion gives a small shy smile," I'm Lake." She replies back as Shadow nods and sits her down in nest full of stick, leaves and bird feathers

"Well, your going to be here for awhile." He said as he slithers near the back of the cave and gathers some things and then comes back to nest. He picks up some clothes he had and puts some medicine on the cloth and then bandages it around her leg

He then gets two pieces of small wood and ties them around her leg."There, that should help. I'll check it later." He said as Lake nods and smiles a bit," Thanks you." She said as he nods and smiles back," Well, I'll get you some food, stay here." He said and leaves

Lake smiles a bit and takes her book out and reads it as she waits for Shadow to come back. 15 minutes later and Shadow came back with a lot of fruit for them to eat. Lake smiles bad puts her book down and picks up a fruit to eat. Shadow lays next to Lake as they eat the fruit together and talks a bit as they eat. After a while they finished eating. Shadow coils around Lake and pulls her close which made her blushes as they then both fall asleep

It's been an few days since Lake sprained her ankle and she was sitting outside of Shadow's cave reading her book as she waits for him to come back from hunting when she heard a noise. She ignores it, thinking it was Shadow and that he was back when she heard an angry his which made her eyes widen and looks up to see the green naga from before as she slight moves back and away from him

"Finally found you again!" The same green Naga before said as he leans forward, and wraps his tail around you and squeezed Lake as she yelps in pain and struggles to get away. He brings Lake towards himself as he got ready to swallow you whole. Lake's eyes widen and she struggle to get free," Shadow! Help!" She screamed as the Naga growl and covers her mouth up with his tail," No one is going to help you." He hiss as he opens his mouth wide and got ready to eat you up

The green snake suddenly his in pain as he was tackled and pinned down and Lake hits the floor. Lake hiss in pain as she hits the ground and slowly crawls away and hides in a bush as the green naga and Shadow fights

Shadow slashes his ear as the other naga hiss in pain and glares at Shadow. "Leave her alone, Scourge." He hiss in angrily as Scourge smirks," Nope!" He said as he slash at Shadow's chest but Shadow moves out of the way but get hits in his side and cries out in pain

Shadow growls as he wraps his tail around Scourge and slams him again the ground, hard. Scourge yells out in pain as he struggles to get up and Shadow smacks him again," Leave now!" Shadow hiss and growls out as Scourge gives Shadow one last glare and slithers away

Shadow sighs and turns and looks at Lake. "Are you ok, Lake? Your not hurt are you?" He asked gently as he slithers towards her. Lake was still kinda scared but was worried about Shadow," Yes, I'm fine but what about you? You were hit." She said worried as Shadow picks her up and beings her again his chest and she blushes a bit

"Yeah, I'm find. I'll fix it up when we get back to the cave. They quickly made it back as Shadow pants and lays down in his nest as Lake jumps out his arms and used the same herbs he used on her and used on him and quickly patched up his wounded side," There." She said smiling

Shadow smiles back and kisses Lake's cheek," Thanks." He said as Lake blushes deeply as she nods," Your welcome." She said as Shadow chuckles and pulls her against his chest and coils up. Lake blushes more and smiles as he nuzzles into Shadow's chest and runs her hands through it," Soft." She purrs out happily

Shadow smiles and wags his tail happily as a purr rumbles in his chest. "Let's get some rest." He said as Lake yawns and nods as she snuggles into Shadow's chest fur and falls asleep. Shadow smiles as he lays down with her against his chest and then fall asleep too
